I booked an appointment online and it's like pulling teeth trying to figure out exactly which parts to buy since you need to go to your appointment with everything ready. There are many components needed if you want a new screen that will work with your backup cam and/or steering wheel controls. Prior to the appointment, I went with my fiancé to inquire about which screens would be the best option for me. We went to the Geek Squad desk, and I explained to an employee that I had an upcoming appointment. I said I wanted to get input from GS in advance on which radios I should browse at the store. The employee walked away and came back a few minutes later to tell me, "The auto technician isn't in right now, but he'll be here tomorrow. So, we can make suggestions today, but they might not be the best suggestions." This was one of the most ridiculous interactions I've ever had at a store, I couldn't believe the absurdity of it. So I wasted my time going there, now I should waste even more time by going again in hopes of speaking to someone for a pretty simple question? After this absolute joke, I cancelled my appointment and ended up going to a specialty shop that knew what they were doing.

The delays were entirely avoidable. An hour into the process, an attendant informed me that they couldn't find the wheel lock key in my glove box. Nobody asked me about it when I arrived. Instead, they wasted an hour before bothering to communicate the problem. Here's the kicker: After they lowered my vehicle and removed from garage, I personally opened the glove box and found the key exactly where they claimed to have looked. I probably get my tires changed once every 5 to 10 years. The staff here is changing tires for three cars every hour. I would expect a little more communication on best practices to be efficient and provide ahead of time. I gave the key to the attendant in under a minute. Despite arriving first and 15 minutes before my appointment, I watched them service TWO other vehicles ahead of mine at this point. The complete lack of communication and customer service was frustrating. This wasn't some complicated mechanical issue. It was a straightforward tire service made unnecessarily difficult. Nearly three hours for a 90-minute service, two customers taken ahead of me, and a missing key that was never actually missing. That's not bad luck. That's bad management and worse service. Save yourself the aggravation. Take your business somewhere that values your time and knows how to serve customers at their tire shop. Anyways, I spoke with the owner John and he said he was gonna return in an hour so I decided to grab something to eat then head back since it was a decent drive from my house. Took a little longer than an hour, but things happen. When John got there, he gladly changed the cartridge for me on the spot (during after hours) and I hung out there while listening to some music on his killer setup. He was a very friendly guy that got the job done in 30 mins and for a reasonable price. My advice is to call before you go to make sure that they're open but they're a great little shop that has plenty of experience (27 years worth!)
