I also read of some of the reviews on here and was worried by the amount of people that had bad outcomes getting this exact same product repaired. However, part of me didn't want to just throw the controller away and I also wanted to see if they could fix it properly. The controller was repaired perfectly for a 54% higher price than a new controller would have been and they did it in a short turnaround. I will definitely not get another controller fixed by Video Game 911, but I'm happy to say that they didn't screw this one up. Product: Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 Issue: Right/Left bumper did not work, the tripper stop adjustment tool had sheared off, and many buttons on the controller would stick (not physically, but remain actuated). Price: $24.07 to ship them the controller via UPS, $153.79 quote for the repair so $177.86 total cost. What they fixed in the repair according to the quote: - New back shell, paddle repairs, left bumper button replacement: $109.95 - Replacement faceplate: $16.89 - Trigger adjuster replacement: $26.95 Turnaround: Shipped to VideoGame911 on 06/26/23 and delivered back to me on 07/03/23. 7 days. When John got there, he gladly changed the cartridge for me on the spot (during after hours) and I hung out there while listening to some music on his killer setup. He was a very friendly guy that got the job done in 30 mins and for a reasonable price. Lauren was extremely responsive and transparent, and just several days later I now have a beautifully redone stereo (Pioneer DMH-1500NEX) that also sounds much, much better than before. The technician, Mike, walked me through how the unit works and described the installation process; there was one slight issue he found when testing the unit the day before, and thankfully they got a new module to make sure everything worked perfectly before releasing the car back to me. The new unit looks clean (see my attached photo), and I walked away with the sense that both Lauren and the staff have high attention to detail and stand by their work. The replacement was not cheap, but the quote was comparable to another place in the area and now I feel like I have a brand new car.
