They are exactly what they hold themselves out to be and did not disappoint. Nice guys and really quick service. Fixed a cracked screen for me in just a few minutes and I was on my way. They helped multiple people while I was in there and seemed to know exactly what they are doing. Highly recommend! read more

Not just for laptops - also iPhoneMD! I wish all of my problems could be solved this easily. I came in on a Monday afternoon and showed Tom my phone's broken camera and camera lens. He said no problem - he could order the part and have it here the next day. I had to pay a down payment under $100. Came in today and the part was delivered as mentioned and they fixed my phone within an hour and I paid the balance. Good as new. Incredible. Staff were very nice and transparent. Thanks for the quick and quality support! read more

Visited March 21, 2025 for a $100 diagnostic on a phone. It seemed that the motherboard was fried. They had to bring the phone to the NYC location to see if any information could be recovered. Not an issue since I've actually used the NYC location before. The Morristown location was friendly and convenient. However, def thought there was a lack of communication. Called about 1 week later and they said they needed to get an update from the NYC office and get back to me. Days went by and nothing. Followed up again and same thing. A few weeks went by and had to be a bit of a nag at this point. Unfortunately, a lot more work and money would have to be invested where the results were not definitive. Got the phone back and it had to still be put together with glue. One would've thought they'd give the phone back looking more or less like it did when it got there. However, what really irked me is that the SIM card was missing. Pretty sure it was there the day it was brought in. read more

another positive experience here. technician was able to work on my ipad immediately.

Competent, fast service for my iPhone and problems with apps. I had an older model Apple phone with a cracked screen. This was replaced within 24 hours. I had purchased a newer model Apple, did not like it and returned it to Apple. All of my apps were still on the older model, but some apps were now not working properly or at all. Mike and Top resolved all of my problems. Everything now works perfectly. Reasonable prices for quality work. read more

Great place. Quick responsive. They set up my son's gaming computer. Will use them again.

Arthur was very quick in responding to my question about an issue I had with my phone; the latest software update caused a battery issue for many users of that type of phone so I needed a replacement. When I came into the store, he explained that it would be very straightforward and the parts would come in the next day. (This was after I got the runaround talking to uBreakiFix a few days prior, and the reps seemed to have no idea when the battery I needed would be available, so I was amazed that the parts would be available so quickly.) The overall cost (parts + labor) was very reasonable. I still can't believe that the battery replacement only took a couple hours once the parts came in. The battery life is so much better now, and the issue is completely solved! I will definitely come back in the future if I have issues with any of my other devices! read more

Service was great and professional. Ultimately they were not able to fix the laptop but communications about it was prompt. Pricing was good. read more

These guys are the best! My Galaxy S9 was no longer working because of the cracked, black, and flickering screen. They repaired it in a day. They also fixed a minor issue with the front camera. Beware! Would NOT recommend - RIP OFFs for the unknowing! My sons gaming PC was dropped off here by a family member as I did not have time to troubleshoot his device (BIG MISTAKE). This PC was dropped off on the 29th of April to diagnose "IF" the motherboard was bad. My son had called them every few days to get an update on the status of what they found, needless to say it was the runaround of 'they aren't in or gone for the day'. I gave them until May 9th and I showed up to without a heads up for them to get a resolution as to WHY this is taking so long?!?! I've worked in IT 20+ years now, manage a multi million $$ infrastructure, hold all the certifications and more that they have up on their wall, so I have a very good idea HOW LONG "BASIC" troubleshooting should take!!! When I get there to reclaim my child's desktop I'm met with I need to come back tomorrow to speak to the manager, I DON'T THINK SO! After 20 plus minutes demanding my sons property be returned as he was saying everything to NOT return that to me, I had to basically threaten the guy to have Morristown PD come and ensure that I am able to take our property!! Then he's giving me some BS that your family member agreed to a $495.00 repair... UMM EXCUSE ME?? I could replace that motherboard for $350.00 online from another vendor?! So they would rather rip you off with a repair charge of $495.00 (that you won't even know what was actually done, if ANYTHING, IF you do not know what you are looking for) then replace your motherboard for less - FOUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!. So if you do not know any better YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF! Places like this will find ways to rip you off - better off going to a larger vendor where there are more controls in place to ensure service quality and service level agreements!! SHAME ON YOU!!! I'm sure your guy there will NEVER forget his interaction with ME!! You never know who has what type of knowledge that comes into your business, don't be SHADY!! read more

LaptopMD+ - EIGHTEEN is a 'Teenager.' Business was taking advantage of a young inexperienced kid, pretty much said it in his reply. - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Morristown, New Jersey

After booking an appointment with the Genius Bar at Apple( not an easy task) and them telling me I needed to get a new iPad that was $600 because they couldn't fix it, I decided to bring my iPad series 8 here for repair. I was greeted right away and was told it should be no problem to fix. I left to run some errands and in that time it was already done and repaired. It really made my son's day getting his device back. Thank you team. read more

We had such excellent service getting my brother's phone repaired today. We came on such short notice to get his screen replaced because he leaves for school tomorrow, and we were in and out in under 15 minutes at such a great price! We were worried we would need to buy a new phone or pay Apple Store prices to get it working again, but we were so happy with the outcome! Broken screens and small technical problems come naturally to my clumsy family, so I am sure we will be back soon. read more

Over the years I have reached out to LaptopMD in Morristown for a variety of issues...... all my fault!! Today was no exception. I had an issue, they said to come right in. I did and while he was checking my laptop, successfully dealt with 4 other customers and fixed my issue. I have their sticker on my laptop to remind me not to waste time but call the South Street store. I'm coming back next week to replace my battery. Pricing is fair and service is priceless. read more

every time i go there, it is an "oh $#!+", and everytime i pick my stuff back up, i am grateful to know this fine company!

I had a repair of an old laptop hinge whose parts weren't available on the market. LaptopMD folks were really helpful on getting it fixed. They were really courteous and helpful in explaining the cost of the repair. I would love to give 5 except for the fact that I have to bring the laptop twice for estimating the issue. Edit: I had a new issue that is related to the repair that was done at this location. I already mailed them about 3 days ago, awaiting a reply if they could repair this. They were responsive within hours of a new repair but no response yet for a follow-up. read more

Never went there , but the price quote they gave me to put me a 250 gig SSD and 8 rams of memory was outrageously expensive. I purchased a 1 TB gig SSD and 8 Rams of memory For 130 bucks and found someone to install it. They wanted 350 for a much smaller SSD and the memory plus their labor. They're certainly entitled to make a profit but not those kind of numbers read more

Great service - I had spilled my aftershave on my 2019 15inch MacBook Pro Retina and Apple Genius offered you donut for 1700$ so basically a new MBP! Went to these guys - small shop and the owner came in look at it and promised to get it done within 10 days (late December 2019) there was some delay in getting a new screen but all good I called and was updated on the delay. Ready after a week and 600$ down but works as good as new and after 3 plus months including a couple of long international trips (before COVID lockdown) and my MBP is running fine screen resolution color all good. Great service at an affordable price. read more

I just had my Lenovo laptop repaired by LaptopMD in Morristown. My keyboard was failing, making the unit useless. LaptopMD diagnosed my issue quickly, ordered the right parts and did an expert install of the whole top section of the unit including the keyboard. I do need this laptop for daily work so it was great to see this done once, done right the first time, and back in service. In fact the repair was completed same day. Amazing work, no surprises in costs at all. Very approachable staff, and top quality work. Excellent. read more

Had my Mac laptop repaired quickly and at a fair price. Highly recommended.

The BestBuy GeekSquad agent told we they were not legally allowed to repair my Apple laptop, so he referred me to LaptopMD. I needed a new battery, I gave a $100 deposit online so it could be ordered. As promised, the battery was delivered the next day; when I dropped my laptop off on Friday, I told Michael that I'd like it back as quickly as possible...he said he'd do his best to get it ready for pickup before Monday but made no promises...To my surprise, he called me a few hours later on Friday afternoon to tell me my MacBook was ready. Service was quick and competently performed. read more

I've been coming to the Morristown and Pompton locations for 3-4 years. I manage a very large cellular business account and lots and lots of broken tablets and cell phones have made their way to Laptop MD. Service is fast, courteous, and professional. They always honor their warranties and stand behind their work. The Morristown store is directly across the street from the Morristown deli... Don't park in their Parking lot or he'll have you towed and call you nasty names. Just sayin' read more

I have used this repair place 3 times now for iPhones and iPads. Mostly screen repair but last week repaired i phone 7 screen and swollen battery which was dropping battery strength rapidly. LaptopMD+ - Replaced screen! - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Morristown, New Jersey

Straight forward, evaluation with no commitment, repair completed the next day. Will return and recommend for local service. Thanks.

LaptopMD is great. I had a laptop that was initially taking longer then expected to fix due to a problem with my hard drive and supply chain issues. However, the owner reached out to me, corrected the problem and my laptop is now running like brand new again. 5/5 would recommend and will be using again in the future. read more

Good and fast service. They're straight forward. The price they give me is reasonable. I went to the LaptopMD in Morristown , NJ. I went their to upgrade the SSD on my late 2009 27 inch iMac which is more than 10 years old. So far my iMac works and it's faster now. The only downside of upgrading to SSD is that the iMac fan is blowing hard due to lack of thermo sensor however you can install an app to remedy the problem, no big deal. So far I'm happy ! No need to buy a new iMac. read more

I came here to have the laptop battery on my PC replaced, however it took over a month for them to receive the correct part and complete the job. There were extensive shipping delays taking almost 3 weeks and when they finally did get the battery they said the wrong one had been sent! They did reorder with overnight shipping. I just wish the communication had been better as I had to call them very frequently just to check the status and see what was going on. They did offer a significant discount for the delay which I appreciate. All of our other experiences with LaptopMD have been great but I was slightly disappointed with this one. read more

Laptop MD is highly trusty worthy. The quote to fix my laptop was quick and a couple hundred dollars less than the Apple store wanted to charge me. They had great communication as to status /timeframe for which the repairs would be completed. I think the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they only guarantee their work for 30 days. I had expected something closer to 90. All in all, I would use then again if the need presents itself. read more

Awesome place! Dropped the iPad, so needed a new glass cover. Also my daughter's MacBook died, all on the same day. Knee jerk reaction - it probably costs more to repair than buy a new one in 2021. Right? Wrong! Turns out you can affordably repair even the most complex personal device at this day and age. Moral: don't assume. Research online and use the best. In my area, this happens to be LaptopMD. Good job guys, best of luck and thanks again. You are the best! read more
