The only good thing was inquiring over the phone with someone named Corey; he was knowledgeable, respectful, and made us feel unrushed. Unfortunately, in person, the manager assigned a specific associate to take care of us to boost her sales cos apparently, she was short of her monthly quota (forgother name, maybe Mariah or something like that). Red flag, right.. the manager intervened throughout and it seemed like she didnt know what she was doing. Once autopay began, it was higher than what we calculated (shouldve been 4 lines for $50 each, but it was more like $60). Also, for some inconvenient / unknown reason, as a first responder, my bill was always separated from our 3 other lines, even though all 4 lines were in the same family plan. We had other problems during initial onboarding and i remember a male asian manager being good, but a hispanic manager being a total douchebag (I'm not racist, my husband is Hispanic too ok). That was 4 years ago and on February 28 of this year, we finally ended it. We specificically did it before the 12th because that was when the bill was due. I was pissed to find out 3 lines were still charged in March. These scammers said the billing cycle runs from the 23rd to the 22nd, so we used their service 6 days in a new cycle. The cost of the final bill was still a full month at $178, instead of $39. I attempted to speak with customer service but they're all a bunch of thieving people. Good luck to anyone using AT&T. When we switched to Tmobile, no problems, manager helped us herself, while still running the store and greeted every customer coming in, and we didn't have any issues. read more

This location was of no help and no one has cared enough to help me with the customer service line themselves. Over a month ago I stepped foot in this branch to take advantage of trading in my iPhone 14 for an iPhone 16. I felt rushed by the att employee and didn't feel confident I was resigning to the best plan for myself. But regardless, I left w an iPhone 16 that was a problem since I turned it on. BAD COVERAGE , over heating , etc. after several hours and many attempts w online customer service they determined it was defective And advised me to exchange or return it at any att store. So I did what I was advised and walked in att store in Temecula within my 30 day window to return. I tried returning the phone to them with the receipt and all the original packaging no damage and explain the situation and what I was advised to do and that door blatantly just said sorry we're not taking your phone back. I can't help you can't leave it here and you need to go back And call Customer Service. I explained to him it was my last day within my 30 day allowance and it was determined by customer service. It was defective and he refused to take the phone back and I made him promised to notate something in the system so AT&T could recognize I was within my 30 days. Well, he notated something referencing I didn't want to return the phone because I wasn't getting credited a restocking fee. I don't know where this guy came up with this and I don't know what he was trying to do, but I think he was just too lazy to do his job and came up with some BS excuse so I ended up calling customer service online and was on the phone for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I finally got through to a manager who advised me I need to go back to the original store, I purchased it from And. They can notate something in their system to where I won't be penalized for being over 30 days even though I wasn't so I explained I'm over 200 miles away from that store and she had no other answers for me or advice. So my journey continues and as I drive over 200 miles back to the original store and sit down and tell them, I need to speak to the manager and explain this all over again The manager had the audacity to tell me that I need to call Customer Service again and try to get some sort of mailing label or we could find the system as I was deceased to zero out any penalties. I was flooring couldn't believe it. I've done everything I've been asked to do and I did everything correct and I've been getting the runaround from every single department. AT&T has put me in and then this guy after I tell him I just drove 200 miles instead of picking up the phone and Colin is regional or something and figure out figuring out how to do this on his end. He starts telling me his system can't do it. He had all the excuses in the world and he starts trying to find angles unethically that would jeopardize my phone number being disconnected that I've had for 25 years And for me to say I was deceased at this point I absolutely had it. Unfortunately what I wanted to say was 9,058 characters too long so in short, I went into the Cerritos location on Bloomfield June 9th, who's misinformation caused my phone a delay and to be stolen. And it did not stop there because their loyalty customer service department was also to blame when I needed to get the new phone as most reps did not do their due diligence to get the issue resolved. They actually caused more issues, due to their lack of knowledge and indifference when I reached out. They even added another layer of problems by getting one of the phones on the plan that were unrelated blocked listed. The worst part about that is the number that they block listed belonged to an essential worker that's phone use is imperative to their job, not just to complete the job but also for safety reasons because they need to know their location when they visit sites, Etc. Because of AT&T, they couldn't complete the job, got stranded on a site visit, and lost out on just over $500 because they couldn't finish the job. It took a month's time to get my phone, & AT&T service has been unacceptable through and through, I would not recommend AT&T to anyone based off of this experience. I wasted gas going to multiple AT&T stores, I lost money because I had to take off work to take care of AT&T's errors that all could have been avoided. Meanwhile, the phone upgrades that were purchased puts more money in the pockets of AT&T. Our family has been with AT&T for over 10 years and THIS is the service I receive. I was looking to upgrade my phone and had already been to a nearby AT&T store, but was told they didn't have the phone I wanted in stock. I went to this location to see if they had any in stock. I was being assisted by Gian and expressed that I just wanted a new phone. He goes through his pitch and I try to keep the conversation solely to a new phone, not a new plan. He says he's going to check the back and disappears for about 10-15 minutes and comes back with the manager RJ. They attempt the tag-team sales thing to try to overcome objections/upsell and try to convince me to change plans and get an Apple Watch. I say I'm satisfied with my current plan and features and was just looking to upgrade my phone. They say something about a time delay system to check inventory and disappear into the back for another 10-15 minutes only to return and tell me they don't have the phone in the color I want. They eventually help me order the phone I wanted to be delivered to my house. At home, I log into the app to track my shipment and happened to see something called Protect Advantage added onto my plan. At no point in my conversations with Gian or RJ did this come up. If it is just a standard thing that automatically gets added with new phone purchases, it should've been mentioned. If it was added on in hopes a customer wouldn't notice, shame on them. After this experience, I think I'll just purchase online next upgrade. read more

Beware of deceptive selling practices at this store. I went into the store to reset an iPhone. The rep sold me internet air with a price monthly of $47 as a valued Att client. I opted in to try it out. Worked ok and for the price it was okay. Got a bill for $65. I immediately called to cancel as it was too high and wasn't able to connect to wfh any way. Apparently the $47 is a promo which I was never told about and I had to pay full price for 3 months. After many calls nothing was waived although they took responsibility for the misinformation. Do yourself a favor and be mindful of what you're told. Read everything. read more

Horrible service... I was in dire need of a exchanging my phone's data to my current phone plan, and the two people "helping" me just wasted 4 HOURS of my time today. I get that we all make mistakes sometimes, but this white "no sabo" type guy was horrendously notorious; he gave me a wrong pin, kept asking repeated questions that were absolutely not his business (asking why I changed phone holders), and he was no help whatsoever. Literally useless. Had to resolve everything myself, called customer service three times at home, went back to AT&T and they sent me back with incorrect information to my current phone holder, and repeat. Four hours wasted. Lastly, this lady was so rude and absolutely refused to be of assistance, I just wanted to go home :( Overall, horrible experience, not fun, however I finally got my phone and best of all got a beautiful headache in spite of all of this, lovely! :) Please just be better at your job, AT&T was always MID but now it's just plain sad. The first rep couldn't really help us - he explained that this promo the call center rep offered doesn't exist. He tried to help but didn't know what to do and kept going in the back to talk to his manager. I would give that rep 2 stars because he took a call while helping us and kept looking at his watch when we were explaining our situation. He just didn't seem to want to help us. My 4 stars rating is actually because of the store manager Christian. Let me tell you - this guy deserved 10 stars! He is what customer service should be. He listened to our situation and helped as best he could which is all we needed. He helped us get everything fixed that the call center messed up, and processed our upgrade. He even called our trade in for us and took care of everything. Get this guy a raise because he definitely deserved it. Some of the other reps in the store could learn from him. read more

I love coming to this location I have had great service every time me and my boyfriend got our iPhones here and our Apple Watches with a smooth transaction. My boyfriend recently broke his phone during vacation we went to try and purchase a new one at the Norwalk town square and they didn't want to help us at all we decided to come here on Bloomfield and Fatima B helped us the whole way through she got my boyfriend a new phone and she even fixed his Apple Watch because it wasn't working since his original phone was broken. For such a big company, you would think service would be on point however on a SATURDAY afternoon there were three employee and for only 4 customer the wait was ridiculous. Employees were just walking around and looking clueless. The management should really review their videos and use it for some training videos on "what can we do differently and make customers feel as if their business is important." Wow. I thought Carlos D. was kind and helpful when I came in to upgrade to a new iPhone, now I'm having serious concerns about his honesty. I stated from the beginning that I wanted my plan to remain the same, yet he kept saying I would save money by switching to the new unlimited "your way" plan AND by adding an additional 5th line that my family wouldn't even be using. What?! I thought that sounded odd so I told him to send me a quote and I'll look it over later. When I did review it, I realized that the extra line could in no way make things cheaper-- he must get some extra commission for adding a new line. The new plan, sticking with the same number of four lines, MIGHT be slightly cheaper since they dropped the TV and HBO perks in my current plan, but I'm skeptical because the online quotes are not accurate because of various discounts and services being included and excluded in the comparison (my current discounts are not reflected in my current price, but the discounts are included in the new plan price, and it isn't clear whether the cost of my new installment payments for my new iPhone are included or not, etc.) The pricing games AT&T Wireless (and other carriers) play is just shameful. They tack on so many fees and service costs, the price they tell you up front is never accurate and the amount you end up paying is always substantially higher. Now I am receiving the new bill and I've found out Carlos D. added extra add-ons to my account that I never asked for nor wanted. And the actual paperwork that I was given to sign was in regard to the value of my trade-in device. The actual plan changes were apparently emailed to me via a link and were not at all clear as to these extra charges. He added a $17 per month insurance "Assurion / AT&T Protect" add-on without telling me. He also added another $6 per month "Next Up" add-on. I WAS NEVER ASKED ABOUT THESE ADD-ONS NOR DID I APPROVE THEM. I specifically mentioned that I did not want to add on any extra services or costs! With the odd delay in billing, I am now being charged these new add-ons for one and a half billing cycles. This just seems really shady to me. I will be avoiding this store from now on. read more

I loved loved loved this store. I went in last week because I needed to transfer a phone line from an existing account to my name and I added a new line. Cory helped me, he was so cool, so knowledgeable and so helpful. These kind of things usually take long but it was a fairly fast process. There was a problem with the system not approving my request and honestly I think anyone else would have given up but he tried again and I was approved. I took my 5 year old with me, and everyone was so polite and nice to us (not to mention he farted in the middle of the store) and everyone was so cool about it. Pretty disappointed with my experience here. We switched over from another we give provider and this store signed us up for all sorts of additional services/benefits we either specifically said we did not want (insurance) or were not asked about (AT&T Next Up). At the store, they told us our first monthly bill should be around $240. When I actually got the bill, it was $380. So I had to make multiple calls to support to get these unapproved charges off my bill. Based on my conversation with the support center, this is a common issue across all AT&T stores. read more

BEWARE : I have a family plan whit them and I went to activate a new phone I bought somewhere else, after doing that, they offered me an special they have and it is, if I buy an Iwatch I got another one for free. It looked fine , the Iwatch was $ 360.00 and then I would get another one at no charge, but the thing is that I have to pay the watch in installments, no cash purchase, the payment will be $ 20.00 a month, and, attention: I have to make the payments during three years (36 MONTHS) that is a total of $ 720.00, exactly double the amount of $ 360.00. So, they are actually making me pay another $ 360.00 for the Iwatch, that I was supposedly GET FOR FREE. This is a completely unethical business practice, almost a fraud. He followed COVID guidelines and was respectful by wearing a mask and gloves. I was able to upgrade my device with ease and he was able to answer additional questions about my service. I used to come to this location a lot when Mike Essex worked here. But, when he left California for another job opportunity, my visits drastically decreased. Of course, it's part of their job to offer products, upgrades and tack on accessories but this guy was very understanding when it came to no thank you. I told the manager what I was there for and he told me someone will be right with me. Waited for a while, after 30 minutes, a party of 5 came in and was immediately helped by another sales staff coming from their "bullpen". Waited for another 10-15 minutes, sales staff approached and proceeded to guide me to a transaction station. Without even properly introducing herself, she blurted out "we no longer have what you came here for" but we have something else. I figured why have me wait for 44 minutes and not tell me that from the start? This store represents everything about what's wrong with AT&T. I have been an AT&T customer since 2007. AT&T is so sneaky and kept on double billing us all the time and, most of all, their service sucks..... Three weeks ago I went to this store and Lanell helped me out...I was impressed because Lanell was able to switch my 4 lines to an "unlimited" data from the 6 gig data I had to share with 4 lines without increasing our monthly bill. A week later, I checked our bill online and it just went way beyond our budget of $120/month. Turns out Lanell gave us the wrong advice. I ended up being charged now more than I was supposed to----and it was NOT even my fault. Today, I went to pay my bill at this store....$161.00....30 minutes later I received a text message from AT&T saying i need to settle my past due...WHAT PAST DUE SINCE I'VE BEEN PAYING EVERY MONTH? Exhausted from arguing with AT&T.....from customer service, billing department and retention department.....I said fuck AT&T...and went to sign up with T-Mobile across the street. AT&T did NOT even give a shit that I've been their customer for the past 10 years. Greed and money and profit seems like all they care.
