Had an issue/problem with my iPhone so, I brought it into this store. Maria D was awesome. She was professional and informative from start to finish. The SIM needed replacement. I has previously stopped at a South Bay AT&T store and was told the SIM was bad and needed to be changed. The SIM was not replaced and I was charged the $5 fee. I was lied to. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience at the AT&T store in Cerritos. In November 2025, I went to this store because I needed AT&T Internet Air as a temporary solution while my home was being repaired. I specifically told the salesperson that I would only need the service for about 4-5 months before switching back to Spectrum. Because of that, I asked whether there would be any cancellation fees or issues when I no longer needed the service. The salesperson assured me that the AT&T Air service was essentially prepaid and worked just like Spectrum--that I could simply return the equipment when I was done and wouldn't have to worry about cancellation fees or ongoing charges. Based on those representations, I agreed to sign up. I also later discovered that my account had been opened as a business account, even though I do not own or operate a business. I don't remember that being properly explained to me. After moving back and no longer needing the service, I stopped using it and switched back to Spectrum. I still have the AT&T equipment and am prepared to return it, yet I am now receiving suspension and cancellation notices along with charges that I never expected based on what I was told when I signed up. My frustration isn't just about the bill--it's about the sales process. I relied on the information I was given before agreeing to the service, and I feel that information was inaccurate or misleading. I visited the store last Saturday, where Maria informed me that I would receive a $700 trade-in credit when upgrading from an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 17 Pro. She explained that once I received the new phone by mail within two days, I could visit any AT&T location to complete the trade-in and receive the promotional value. However, when I went to the Katella location, I was told the trade-in value was only $350 and that I would need to return to the original store for the promotion to be honored. I then visited the Cerritos location today, where Maria provided different instructions, stating I needed to contact headquarters to obtain a trade-in label and request reimbursement. After calling customer service, I was informed that the actual trade-in value was $350 and that I had been misinformed during my initial visit. As a result, I had to request a refund. This experience was extremely frustrating and a significant waste of time due to inconsistent and inaccurate information. I do, however, appreciate the Katella store staff and the phone representative for clearly explaining the situation, assisting with transferring my data back, and helping process the refund. I hope this issue is addressed to prevent other customers from experiencing similar confusion and inconvenience. read more

I went into the store in person after receiving a phone call from the company informing me that I needed to resubmit paperwork for my billing. Unfortunately, my experience with Paulette, the store manager, was extremely disappointing. I want to acknowledge that the gentleman who was assisting me was very kind, patient, and helpful throughout the interaction. However, unfortunately, the positive experience with him was overshadowed by the manager's tone and attitude. When I explained the situation to Paulette, I felt that her tone was rude and that she was unwilling to assist me. I was also told that the information I had received directly from the company over the phone was incorrect. I explained my frustration because I was receiving conflicting information from both parties, yet I was not provided with clear answers or assistance in resolving the issue. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but I believe a store manager should demonstrate patience, professionalism, and a willingness to help customers, especially when they are simply trying to resolve an account or billing issue. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled has left me very disappointed, and I will not be returning to this location. I will be taking my business to another AT&T store where I hope to receive the respectful and helpful customer service that the gentleman assisting me initially provided. read more

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. They are NOT transparent about costs so I immediately canceled and went back to T-Mobile. If you give them your trade it, they mail it in so fast there is no way to get it back or get credit. The phone representative confirmed they ripped me off. I'm disgusted by this company. Came in on a Sunday to upgrade my parents' phones. Tamara helped us out. As soon as I get home I get a text message that a new feature had been added to my account that costs $10 a month. I did not authorize this new feature. I called the store and spoke to Tamara who said this was a feature that's automatically added to the new phones. Completely unacceptable. She says she'll have the feature taken out the day after the new phones are delivered. After I get the phones, I get an email about more features that were added without my approval or knowledge for $17 a month. This is some BS business practice. These sales people receive commission based on the features they sell. Now I have to waste my time combing through my bill and calling to speak to a phone rep that is likely overseas to get these things taken off my account. Complete BS. read more

Waited 40+ min for a maybe 15 min conversation/question about my plan/charges. When I brought up my concern that another customer had been helped before us (when we had been waiting for a long time), she fired back with attitude. So shout out to the unprofessional female manager working on Monday December 23, 2024. Maybe you need to learn more lessons on customer service. First up let me say that I have been a loyal ATT customer forever, way back when it was LA Cellular then Cingular then ATT, so yeah forever. I have been coming to this location for a good 15 years and have NEVER EVER had a problem with anyone until today. The young ladies that work here are wonderful. Today I had a horrible manager named Mary or Maria, very heavily made up, bud into the transaction between me & the sales person Claudia. We were setting my 81 year old dad up with a simple smartphone because his dr needs to put a heart monitor app on it, and all hes ever had was an old school flip phone. We chose the phone and were all set to go. Claudia goes in the back and this woman follows her out and starts with the you need to switch everything over to ATT to get any kind of deal. Mind u I just upgraded my phone there a month ago for the same deal I was about to get for my dad. She would not take no for an answer, so then she bangs on the keyboard and tells me all of a sudden they don't have the phone that I want. So of course I smell bs now. I told her he can't use S23 Ultra it's just to advanced for him. She continues to tell us that we can practically get it for free, I'm telling her price is not the problem, he needs something simple. Then this woman decides to raise her voice and said "I'm just trying to help u guys out I don't know why you're being uncooperative, you can go to another store". At this point I'm looking around like was she talking to someone else because that was so uncalled for. I never raised my voice or acted disrespectful in anyway. Now im trying my best not to "act black" because I know that's what she was pushing for. She would not let Claudia finish the transaction so I was done. I went across to Target and got the exact deal I was trying to get there. ATT u really need to promote from within your store, you have some great workers, but these ppl you bring in are the absolute worse. I went in to switch my service from T-Mobile back to ATT. There were 4 associates working. Only 1 was helping a customer. The one working asked me for my name and said she would be with me after she finished with the person she was helping and one other. Customer. She said it would be about 15 min. The rest chatted. Nobody said a word to me. After :30 min my lunch break was up. I had to go. I asked her if I could just call ATT and that is what I did. I signed up for a 3 year contract and purchased a $1000 iPhone. No commish for you! Never have had very good luck at ATT stores. I recommend doing the same. read more

I was directed here by another store (inside Cerritos Mall) that simply didn't want to help me after I just purchased a new iphones and set up a new plan. They simply refused to help. Bad customer care from the Cerritos Mall store lead me here where they made everything all right. It starts with a great manager Raphael and Maria plus the other manager /crew (RJ, Kevin?). I was so disappointed with the Cerritos Mall store that I regretted ever coming to AT & T but they renewed my confidence in this carrier. Hey, the place changed. New scenery in this location. I kinda liked the way how it looked before. Anyway, what i came in for this time around was to pay my bill. My card was currently *out of order*, so i am unable to play online. So i walked in and asked if i can pay inside the store. So yes (most places have the self service kiosk). But i had to ask if they take checks. Thank the lord they do at the store, coz if they didnt, I would be so bummed and be late on paying. (And i dont want that late fee tacked on my already expensive bill.) That self service kiosk can take checks....at least the routing number. So yes, got the bill paid early. So if u come into a situation where you cant pay online or the card u use is messed up, wipe the dust off your checkbook and use it. read more

This review is for the Cerritos ATT store at Fountain Plaza at 11440 South St, Cerritos, CA 90703. Terrible experience. The sales rep, Maria, gave me directions over the phone. That's it. When I got to the store another salesman greeted me and I began to tell him why I was there. Maria came up and said "did I just talk to you on the phone?" I said I thought so and she told the other salesman "this is my customer" and then told me they work on commission. Rude. I then went through what I wanted with Maria (I should have stuck with the other salesperson). I had placed an order online then canceled as I was told I had to go into the store to have my existing number ported over (long story). I chose the value plan and had a trade which was quoted at $350 online, bringing my monthly payment to a little over $64 (with autopay and other discounts applied). I showed Maria exactly what I did online, and was quoted the same amount by her for my trade with the $45 value plan. When I called ATT today with some questions about my account, I was told that the plan I selected was not eligible for the same amount Maria quoted me and that only $35 would be applied for my trade. Long story short, Maria lied. I asked several times what my monthly payment would be making it clear it had to be $65 or lower. I confirmed several times that I would get $350 for my trade. She did the usual high pressure BS of trying to sell me every other thing under the sun. What I was told I purchased was not what I got. I'm sure Maria knew that and figured I'd have to deal with it later. Which I did. I would not, and will not ever make a purchase at an ATT store again. Particularly not from Maria. read more

This is the 2nd time this has happened to me at this location. Went and purchased a new iPhone and added a line. I told the women helping me I just want the phone and line and no add-ons like insurance. She said no problem. Afterwards I see a welcome email saying thank you for purchasing the Asurion phone insurance $15 extra a month. Pathetic moves by sales reps to boost their numbers by adding extras without customer authorization. Now I need to waste time waiting to speak to a rep to reverse the charge to my account. I'll be sending a letter to corporate about this with the sales reps names. If you ever get a phone at an ATT be sure to ask to watch their screen as they are selecting your phone options so they don't scam you. read more

I am currently a AT&T customer. A couple months ago I found that my cell phone bill increased by $15:11 cents, per month, even though no changes were made to my plan. Called Customer Service. The lady kept keeping me on hold stating she needs to check my records again and again. Then after being on line with her for approx. more than 30-40 minutes she stated the obvious that no changes are seen having been made to your plan. So she was not able to advise me as to why there is an increase on my bill. Therefore i visited the AT&T store in person. They on checking my records stated that you are our client since a long time and we gave you grandfather rates.. Now we feel even though the plan still not expired that the rates we charged you are too little so we are now not going to honor the grand father charges. Hence going forward you will need to pay the increased additional charges. I stated any changes they make should be informed to all concerned customers and possibly even their consent to be taken in advance before just adding extra/additional charges onto their/our bill. Further today I got a text message from AT&T stating that they will pay up the remaining four months balance installment amount of $23:23 pm (which we have left to pay) if we get an upgrade - as we are qualified for the upgrade. So taking this written text in hand I again went to the AT&T store, wherein the representative stated we do not know who from AT&T sent this message and so we will not honor it. AT&T cannot be trusted.They know these are seniors who may not have the physical strength nor the necessary finances, to take action against them. Even heard some people complaining on their auto pay account. ( set up for paying their bill) AT&T would simply add charges without prior consent and since they have given them consent for auto pay there was nothing that could be done. Giving this store 2 stars due to customer service when we canceled our service with AT&T and the attitude we received when trying to return the devices on top of no manager available to assist. We were unhappy with this carrier, and trying to leave them was the hardest switch we have ever done. We even lost the callphone numbers we had for over 17 years. read more

Don't know how new this place is to not show up on YELP! But, you will get the regular service you would get at almost any other AT&T Store. I would encourage the company to offer more in-store specials. As oppose to the online special that the store would match. You should be able to walk into a store and get the deal there without having to be challenged to check online for a better deal that the store would match anyway. read more

I can honestly say that service improved big time...the staff is nicer, the office is nicer and I have not had a long wait time the last few times I've been here. I have been treated well and the employee who waited on me was very friendly and helpful with some of the features on my smartphone that I didn't know how to use.
