I've had decades of not trusting AT&T. Despite that my internet is AT&T and my cell phone runs on AT&T. Which bring me to having had my phone taken last weekend. I found myself without a phone and having to go get a new and the work to get it set up and things transferred. I went to the Boca mall and got my phone from Apple. They were nice about things but couldn't actually set up the phone due to security issues. So I went over to the AT&T store. I hadn't been in before. It's a nice one; clean, bright and a cheerful energy. A gal there had just finished with a couple and pivoted to help me. She was a younger gal, I think her name is Valaria. She was really great. She was very patient as we went through step after step to get it set. It was a bunch of steps but after a methodical process we got it done. She was so exceptional I made a note to give a shout out too. read more

I must say I am very disappointed with the ATT store in Boca Town Center. My wife and I visited yesterday as I wanted to upgrade one of my cell phones. I spoke with the young black customer service representative who couldn't be bothered. He was rude and quite unpleasant. The only thing I wanted was to understand my options regarding Samsung phones. Today I called the toll-free ATT number and purchased a brand-new cell phone. What a night and day difference in dealing with customer service representatives. The Town Center mall staff has zero training and education, and the individual I dealt with is downright hostile. Too lazy to perform the basics of his job. Perhaps someone should explain to him that explaining the unique functions of each phone is important to potential buyers. Shame on Town Center Mall ATT. Employees like him should be terminated. read more

I was on AT&T Unlimited Extra and was using my iPhone as a HotSpot at my Sister's empty condo, which doesn't have WiFi.  I quickly consumed 75% of my allocated monthly HotSpot allowance and knew I needed a solution before I ran out.  So I went over to the AT&T Store at Boca TownCenter Mall to buy an external hot spot so I could continue working through the weekend.  Christian greeted me at the door, checked stock and quickly noted that no external HotSpot devices were available.  Rather than have me walk out, Christian looked up my account and quickly noted that upgrading to Unlimited Elite would allocate me another 15GB of HotSpot GB's for the same $160 I currently pay.  So now I can continue working through the weekend before I return home.  Christian was a really nice guy.  Very helpful and knowledgeable, and very professional. Here is what happened first:  I first went to the AT&T store "near" the Boca TownCenter to find that it was closed.  A paper sign on the door directed me to the store on Yamato Road four miles away.  They were out of stock on external hotspots, and they directed me to the Boca TownCenter Store, instead of looking up my account as Christian did.  So off I went to Boca TownCenter. Here is what I liked: Christian had a determined way about him.  A way that implies "I'm not going to let you walk out of here until I solve your problem" kind of way.  I love this.  This is what we need from AT&T.  Christian was well trained, so kudos to the store management there.  Because I believe his Manager did come over to review what Christian was doing, and as Christian was explaining it, I could tell his Manager had the same vibe and philosophy.  This is a well-run store. To the store staff: don't ever relent on providing this level of service.  Keep doing what you are doing.  You will sell a ton of devices, and new subscriptions. To AT&T: consider getting Christian a job managing.  Frankly, consider getting him over to the Yamato Road store.  That store could use a fresher, more customer oriented perspective exactly as I experienced at the Mall today.  I am a Senior Sales Executive, and i've been in sales for 25+ years. The Store Manager Robert F. exceeded every aspect of service , while Maria E. professionally informed and carried the process end to end. Be prepared to be mislead and lied to! I recently visited this store to purchase an Apple Watch and was then introduced to DIRECTTV Stream. I complained about the amount of money I was paying for cable with U-Verse and was informed this would be a better service and cheaper. In addition, they told me I would get a 14-day trail, only be charged for the taxes and that my first scheduled bill would be a date we agreed upon once confirming I wanted the new service. WRONG! I was immediately billed the next day for the first month of service. When I called to inquire why, I was told that the 14-day trail was not available anymore. They then told me they would give me a $25 credit on my next bill or I would need to cancel the DIRECTV stream service and resume with U-verse until I was ready to pay the DIRECTV stream bill. So let me get this straight, you messed up, charge me an extra hundred dollars and refused to rectify what you did wrong? Your so called loyalty department is a joke! How is your lack of internal company communications my problem and how could you not try to rectify the situation and make your customer happy? Unbelievable! Also, stop apologizing when you are doing nothing to correct what YOU did wrong! Lastly, I have 3 different services with this company (cellular, internet and cable) and I pay close to $400 a month combined. The fact that they refuse refund $100 after they messed up is astonishing! read more

I went to 2 other stores before getting to this one. I'm soooooo happy we did. The first store on glades and 441 was terrible. Absolutely no one wanting to really help anyone. So when i came to this one....it was a huge relief. Christian went far and beyond for us. He really is the best! A young guy that really knows his stuff. He's super informed and will help you even when you have no clue of what's going on (which was my case) but he did everything to get me the best deal! I'm so thankful!!! Beware of this store. They will rip you off any way they can. First they add insurance to my purchase that I told them I did not want, Then they added a charge for me to be able to upgrade but never asked me if I wanted to have this option, They offered me much less for my old phone and then wanted me to lose money by buying their accessories, Check everything before you leave the store read more

Crap service. Walked in to upgrade phone while all the male workers were standing around looking at tinder on one of the associates phone. I didn't walk away with an upgrade because the guy helping me said his tablet was acting up and has been all day and to come back tomorrow. Out of the 5 associates I saw, none of them could have given me an upgrade since this guy had a problem with his tablet? Funny enough, I passed back by there and they were all helping someone else. This store is known for its horrible service. Everyone needs to be fired and replaced. read more

No one wants to help. They all just want to cancel everything and start new orders. I'm guessing they all get commissions or some sort of credit for being the one that starts a new line. What should be a 5-10 minute process always takes 30+ minutes and refunds and complications. Go to Verizon or TMobile instead. read more

This is not review for this store but for customer service of att I am a long user of AT&T wireless phone and uverse services. A technician had to be called to my home yet another time in over a year of being in my condo because of service being down. When the technician arrived he noticed that I have a dog in the home he immediately said "get that dog away and trap him". I said no my dog is a service dog and is medically necessary for me as an oxygen tank to someone with lung issues. He refused to come into my home and said he would not enter. He made me feel small, belittled me as a disabled person, I have been disabled for over 15 years, I have always had a medically necessary service dog. I also have had other technicians in my home and never experienced this problem. All other technicians have been wonderful and were very polite. This man today made me feel as though he did not enter my home because I am disabled. I tried speaking to att people and they kept giving me the run around. Now on the phone and the technician told people my dog which is a staffordshire terrier scared him. Are you kidding me, I also have a 2 lb yorkie and I put him away because he is not a service dog. My dog is not suppose to be judged by appearance nor breed. Not an apology, not a discount fir not having internet nor tv for 2 days. Sent from my iPad. read more

At the end of a long business trip to the Caribbean and Florida, my iPhone suddenly died. As a self described technophobe, I went into a mild panic, being cut off from my clients. I googled Apple Stores on my laptop and headed to their store in the Boca Town Center. I showed the phone to a pimply faced teenager who said it's an hour and 45 minute wait to speak with a technician, but that phone is done, you need a new one. I didn't have an hour and 45 minutes so I turned heel and left. Right across from Apple was an AT&T store. I walked in and explained to Kat that I have been an AT&T Wireless customer for 12 years, and showed her the phone. She fiddled with a few things, did a hard reboot (which I had not seen before), and the phone came to life. Thank you Kat for salvaging the last few days of my trip! read more
