A very, very misleading sale. We came in for a 25% off sale. We thought clothing would be 25% off the already 50 or 75% but it wasn't. Items in the store were only 30% off with the additional 25%. There wasn't much there the selection was pretty limited and I was the only one shopping even though 25% off friends and family cards were mailed. read more

Tommy Bahama clothing is available at Macy's, Dillard's, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Lord & Taylor to name a few stores. along with resort locations around the world. There are over 160 company-owned Tommy Bahama retail stores, 14 of which have a Tommy Bahama restaurant and bar. The tropical vibe of the company meshes very well with the Florida lifestyle. This Tommy Bahama is an outlet store located in Sawgrass Mills Mall. I was in to scope out the men's wear for father's day. My dad has been known to sport a tropical button down shirt on a Florida vacation and as an avid golfer he enjoys their golfing t shirt line. Tommy Bahama clothes are expensive but at least you get a discount here, typically 40 to 50 percent off but sometimes as much as 70 percent which was the discount they were giving on women's swimwear during my visit. I love the tropical prints in colorful colors that they use for the women's clothing. It is definitely a considered purchase for me but it's always worth a peek around the store if I'm in this area of the mall. read more

Shady sales and refund policy. You think a well respected brand would have the courtesy of telling its customers no refunds or credits allowed on a sale. Apparently not, they circle it in your receipt after the purchase took place and do not say anything verbally to the customer...that would be customer service 101, common sense. Couple of days later with receipt and unused merchandise they say nothing we can do. Great way to do business and provide customer service. First time buying in this store and definitely the last. read more

I don't think I've ever been in a Tommy Bahama shop before. I thought the apparel was PERFECT for the South Florida lifestyle or for a vacation to an island in the Caribbean. A lot of the outlet stores at Sawgrass Mills sell merchandise made specifically for the outlets, like Coach or Gap for example. This store does appear to sell items that were once full price at other stores. Overall, prices here are not cheap, but you are saving a good deal off of retail. They carry a lot of fun and bright colors. A lot of the fabrics are lighter, like linen. You definitely notice a beachy theme here. They had a decent selection of bathing suits, but you can probably pay less at Marshalls. Still, work a look though. They also carry some footwear, jewelry, home goods and a mish mosh of other items. I didn't buy anything on my visit, but it was interesting to take a peek. read more

New inner mall location is open and not yet on the center map. The ladies in here were super helpful and helped track down a hard to find item I had been looking for for almost a year! Item found, ordered, and shipped to me for free - now that is good customer service! There were some exfoliating scrubs I was interested in but customers had opened the plastic seals inside and they didn't look so good. The store associate apologized and helped me find ones that were not tampered with. I love that even inside a mall Tommy Bahama knows how to make it feel like a tropical oasis on the beach. All of the kudos go to Jessie for her extraordinary customer support. I was trying to purchase a skort to match several tops that I had purchased. The skort moved to the outlets, and no one would help me purchase it over the phone (all of the outlets are over an hour from me.) Guest services couldn't help me. 2 other outlets said they could not help me. Jessie decided that there must be a solution. So she called headquarters on my behalf and got special permission to allow me to purchase the item over the phone. She was friendly and helpful the entire time. I love her!!! Today's mission: birthday present from my daughter to her father. She knows him well and Tommy Bahama is a favorite. There was plenty of merchandise to chose from and many racks had sale signs. Yay, she is a student so budget is important. I had never been in the store and was unfamiliar with the merchandise. I'm into the feel of clothing and was very happy as I "touched" various shirt. The feel of the fabric was so nice. This was something I wanted. In the end, she found a shirt in a good cut, color and price range. Granted there were many more nice ones but they were priced outside of her budget. We approached the counter and a salesman offered her assistance. After a moment, she asked what the actual price was and he told her he had looked yet. It seemed he was more concerned with the perfect fold. Being this was intended to be a gift, she asked about the return policy and was told, there were only in-store exchanges within 30 days. This was a show-stopper for her. What if it didn't fit right or he didn't like it? She asked if it could be held while she thought about it. In the end, we found another nice Tommy Bahama shirt in another store with a much more liberal return policy. Happy shopping! read more

This is a great find as I really love Tommy Bahama clothing, but hate the retail prices. This outlet location often has 50% off sales and their selection is very good. Of course, they don't have everything like the retail store in Boca Raton, but with the savings, you can buy twice the amount of clothing here or simply spend half as much. read more

My family and I love Tommy Bahamas so we decided to go to the store in Sawgrass. Long story short, my husband and I had a stroller and the carts where you put all the shopping bags. So while we were shopping the assistant manager, a very rude man, without manners told us we couldn't have the stroller and the shopping cart inside the store. Like... what? I understand the shopping cart, but the stroller? I didn't know i had to stay outside with my baby and take turns with my husband to shop there. Also, the way he told us was extremely rude and then identified himself the assistant manager. Why hire people for this type of position if they don't even provide a professional customer service? So at the end we left the clothes we had chosen to buy and left. read more

I love getting Tommy gear at half price.

Yesterday the biggest discounts were 30% off and then there was another sign to take another 10% off. So 40% discount from their retail prices. What turned me off is they used a black sharpie to make a permanent line through the Tommy Bahama name on each label. Yes, even the new style labels that are embroidered into the neck of the shirt. Are they afraid I'm going to sell their new shirt I might have bought for $72 on ebay, for what, $100? Good luck with that. If you did sell it for $100 (no chance) eBay and Paypal grab $14 and the Post Office $5.00. That would leave $8 profit and you need to give Uncle Sam about a buck of that. So their fears are unfounded and I didn't buy anything because I don't like buying defective clothes, including one's that are made defective on purpose. read more
