Excellent food! Prompt courteous service! The chicken park is enough for two to share and is perfect every time. Garlic knots are amazing! read more

Okay for a lunch! Stopped in while waiting on my truck tire appointment. Server was super nice and attentive along with knew the name of each regular in for lunch which is typically a great sign. Ordered the slice and salad special. Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce and dressing. Slice was pepperoni but the cheese they use was not my favorite. Decent $10 lunch after tip but would not be my first choice although I left full so mission accomplished! read more

This was our first visit here and we truly enjoyed it. Appetizers were toasted garlic knots and bruschetta, two of us had penne with creamy pesto sauce, the other had chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Chocolate and vanilla cannolis & tiramisu. Everything was wonderful and there was take homes. read more

Great food! Service was ok but the food made up for the ok service at this place! Still a good place in Raleigh NC to check out!

This place is awesome! The food and customer service...top notch! Normally, I do take out from there but one day, I'mma have to dine-in there. They can definitely keep getting my business! read more

I really took the time to carefully read reviews about the Penne Alla vodka and people swore that this dish was amazing. They lied. This tasted like Chef Boyardee, no exaggeration. Only reason this rating is even getting two stars instead of one is because the tuxedo cake was good (which you can't really screw up) and garlic knots were decent. read more

Assaggio's - Italian Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Based off of the Yelp reviews I decided to order take out from Assaggio's this evening. I wasn't feeling pizza or pasta so I ordered a turkey sub and I wasn't very impressed. The bread was crispy and delicious but I wasn't blown away by the fillings. There was barely any turkey on the sandwich. Maybe it was a fluke, but I wouldn't order this sandwich again. I paid $11.44 for basically just bread. Maybe in the future I'll try their pizza and see if it's any better than this sad sandwich. read more

I would give four stars, the food itself warrants that, the food was very good. I only give three because while the young lady that served was knowledgeable and helpful, she forgot my glass of wine though she didn't charge me for it, but her service was good. And the ants in the female bathroom, but understand, the food, the taste, and the portions were good. I'd definitely go back when I'm in town. read more

Food: 5 Service: 5 Ambience: 4 Date/Time: 11/11/2017 7:30pm Crowd: packed with 3 in line waiting for tables Order: Chicken Masala, Eggplant Parmesan, Garlic Knots Been going here for a few years and have never had food or service that did NOT meet the rating given here. It's one of the few restaurants with that kind of high rated consistencies in my experience. In this occasion, the place was packed so there was a 15-20 minute wait which was about accurate. The one thing they don't have is a seating area for those waiting on a table. The service was awesome! Friendly server AND not just our server but the others who just pass by. Server was very attentive and smiling. The food, as always, was EXCELLENT! The garlic knots are to die for! Admittedly not the healthiest food, swimming in garlic butter, but try to take them away from me and your health could be in danger too LOL! The Chicken Marsala and Eggplant Parmesan were so delicious as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And order some garlic knots! :-) read more

I haven't been able to eat anything because I had been very ill but this food was just too good to deny. One of the best Italian restaurants in the area for sure! read more

Pizza is either excellent or not good. Pricey like almost everything else in Raleigh. Salads are good but over $10.

Visited to place a to go order. Loved the ambiance inside and the memorabilia from NC State. Since there was a longer than usual wait for my friend's pizza, I appreciated the free drink and coupon for a future visit. I had the cheese manicotti and mozzarella sticks and both were still warm and delicious when I got back to the hotel read more

The waiter had a photographic memory. 6 orders with all getting different food without an issue. My Calzone was great. The garlic bread was great, little strong on the garlic but worked well with the food. read more

The food here is usually excellent. I've eaten there and ordered delivery several times. The only 2 times I was disappointed was a veal dish that, surprisingly, was very tough. I've always gotten the Italian dressing for my side salad. Last night I tried the blue cheese dressing. I hope the owner(s) read this, it was a huge mistake. It not only didn't have any blue cheese crumbles, it tasted nothing like blue cheese. Please don't read this and decide to not go there because the food is excellent as is the Italian salad dressing. Go there, and just don't order blue cheese dressing. read more

Food was not good at all and the waitress was very anxious which im not saying she has to be cool calm and collected im sure i know working in food can be stressful but she made my table uncomfortable when she would come over read more

AMAZING FOOD, GREAT STAFF, QUIET DINING! This place will not disappoint you! Their staff is always friendly!

Avoided Assigios for some time due to the high cost of Pizza . We recently had take out it was very good . Ordering online was easy and quick . The food was hot and very tasty . Portions are good. We have gone back 3 times so I decided to post a review . Good food give it a go . read more

When I go to Raleigh, I see this restaurant from the light on the left. Otherwise, I forget because it's not typically in sight, therefore it's been on my mind to try for years. It hit my brain when we were in that specific area for an event. Entrée's come with 2 garlic knots and a salad. Garlic knots were delicious. The Ceasar salad was good too but not typical. It wasn't tossed with dressing like normal, it was drizzled on and you mix it. The homemade lasagna was second to mine... it was AMAZING and enough for 2 if you wanted to split. We also got the Gnocchi which was also delicious. I considered adding grilled chicken or sausage but didn't because we also had lasagna. If it had been my only Entree and we weren't sharing I would have added meat for protein. The best part is that everything was very cheesy which made me extremely happy since I LOVE cheese. We were too full for dessert. They do close earlier than the hours indicate. We were hanging out talking and realized they were closing about 9:00 versus 11:00 on the site and Google. read more

Still good but we think they are starting to cut corners on food quality in a negative way. Wine is 3-4 $ more expensive and wines are not as good. Bathrooms are in really bad shape. read more

Soooooo freaking good!!! Man do I wish I would have came here sooner. Finally made the stop. Everything from the ziti to chicken parm and linguini was amazing. Had lunch here today, the food was really good and fresh. The staff working there were awesome! We'll be back.

Oh my goodness!!! For real! This is my new Italian spot! First time here for hubby and I and we thoroughly enjoyed everything! The waitress was amazing and so very friendly. The food was out of this world! I had a slight headache coming on so I didn't have much of an appetite (unfortunately), so I got some soup and ordered a pizza. My husband ordered the lasagna (after hearing how delicious it was from the waitress). This food did not disappoint! My husband melted in his seat after taking the first bite of lasagna. Homemade...comfort food at its best! The soup was delish and the pizza was AMAZING! Oh...how could I forget to mention the garlic knots!!! Child......let me tell you something...these garlic knots are so deliciously evil!! And they were fresh out of the oven!! Jesus have mercy! I ordered some to go! read more

I love Assaggio's! Our waitress was extremely helpful (sorry I can't remember her name) and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend read more

The chicken Alfredo used to be my favorite at this place but this time it was bad, the chicken was over cooked and the pasta had little to no sauce, my husband ordered the shrimp Alfredo and it was absolutely lovely but man I was really disappointed in the chicken Alfredo.. the waiters/servers weren't really present, it was hard for me to get their attention. Service and food wasn't the best this time around read more

I ordered for pickup, got it home and the food was AMAZING! I live 20 minutes away, the food was still hot, the aroma not only filled the car, but the house as well. After eating my dinner, I still have dinner for the next day. 10-14-2024. 3501 W Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613 - The food is good; but expensive. Ordered an 18" pizza upgraded to a "Mona Lisa" (w sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil ; also added Italian sausage, onion, and ham. Yummy but it costed $ 41.99. read more

This place was near my house and I really enjoyed their food. First visit I tried the lunch portion of the Penne Santa Lucia then added chicken. Pasta was hearty and I liked how the sauce wasn't runny. Probably won't add the chicken next visit. It was already flavorful without it and to me the chicken changed the fluidity of it. On our second visit we tried The chicken Marsala (Not pictures) , which was really good. The dinner was almost $20 but it could definitely feel three people. read more

Disappointing! When I visited, I ordered the mussels with my entree, and this is purely based on the mussels. The mussels arrived, cold with a hot marinara sauce on top. It was completely disappointing. The free bread was good and the rest of my meal was okay. Am I going to go back? Not a chance, I'll try another place or go for homemade. read more

I've ate here before and ordered pizza and pasta and it was always really good. Well it had been a long time since I had come here and my food wasn't good this time. It was nasty actually. I got shrimp scampi and it lacked flavor. It honestly tasted comparable or worst than like an Olive Garden or somewhere like that which is shocking if it's supposed to be an authentic italian restaurant. Either their quality completely fell off big time compared to how it used to be or only certain dishes are good there. Not sure. But for the money I spent it was not a good meal. I could've found better quality elsewhere or cooked at home which takes away the convenience of eating out. read more

Food wasnt entirely bad but didnt have much flavor. Service was awesome and wine was excellent

Absolutely amazing. Quick service and quality food. Great customer service. Would go back again anytime

Ordered delivery and driver was exceptionally late, an hour late to be exact. Called restaurant to make sure they had the correct address and was passed to two different people who clearly had zero people skills over the phone, couldn't give me an estimated time of arrival and didn't even offer an apology. I will not be ordering from their establishment again. There are Italian restaurants in the area with much better food at cheaper prices. ***The raviolis arrived completely crushed looking like someone sat on them. My sons side salad was missing and the tomatoes and cucumbers in my salad were spoiled. Worst delivery from any restaurant ever. I will be requesting a full refund. read more
