It's decent tasting for take out. They have a big kitchen with a lot of workers so it goes fast. They had an eat in area with booths not big enough for crowds . They have a parking lot for in and out. I ordered a combo Meal and had left over rice fried rice for the next day. You can choose white or fried rice. They were friendlier in the store in person than on the phone. You can choose how many sauces you'd like and you get a fortune cookie . Will try it again . read more

My daughter always orders from here and says she has had never had a bad meal.. so OK, Door Dash gave me % off so why not try it. Ordered her meal that she always gets, and I got sweet and sour. Plus we got 2 eggs rolls. Our food came exactly when it said it did. To the minute. Which was cool. Here is why I don't recommend. There was a tiny and I mean a tiny cup, of sour. It did not even cover 1/4 of the entree. The chicken was so tough. The eggs rolls were absolutely fantastic. Too bad we only ordered one each. I got rice with my entree but my daughters had none and should have. I gave her all my rice because I just couldn't chew let alone cut up the chicken. So will I be back. Absolutely not. Even if I got a coupon or whatever. Save yourself your hard earned money and go somewhere else. I wish I had. read more

This place is in a small business strip. It's clean and quaint. The food was served piping hot literally fresh off the grill. The gentleman behind the register was kind when taking our order and serving our dishes at our booth. This place beats all the (few) Asian restaurants I've eaten in Racine. The food looked and tasted good. Definitely would eat here again. read more

The food was hot and extremely delicious and fresh! Great customer service I highly enjoyed and recommend

Asian Taste is a hidden gem located in Pleasant Prairie and a must try if you're looking to eat some delicious Chinese food! This is definitely my new Chinese food spot in this area as the food is made fresh, affordable, and offers a wide selection. If dining in, make sure to place your order at the register and then take a seat for it to be brought to you. The location is rather small so a lot of customers pick up their orders, if you're dining in the space is limited but the staff are very friendly! read more

Great Chinese food. Best I've had in Kenosha. Very nice lady at register and looked like a clean kitchen. Paper plate service. Be careful, the cheese in the crab Rangoon was molten. Try it! read more

We've been going here for years. HOWEVER the owner is as rude as all get out. He's ALWAYS rude on the phone and not much better in person with the exception of tonight. My husband ran in to grab our order and the man wanted to be rude because he asked for an extra piece of plastic ware. "ONE CoMBO ONE PIECE" he snapped at my husband. Are you freakin kidding me?!?!?! Then my husband said he forgot to sign his credit card receipt and the man snapped at him and said "HERE SIGN IT!" as he threw it across the counter!!!! I'm sorry-the food is mediocre at best but the location was convenient. We won't give that ass 1 more penny! We'll go to Chen's Bistro where the food and service are SO much better!!!! read more

Great choice in Kenosha area! I am new to the area so I haven't had a chance to try the local Asian food options, but on Lunar New Year I was desperate for some Asian cuisine to get into the spirit, so gave this place a try! I ordered a lunch special for carry out (no dine-in due to Covid right now anyway). Their online menu was well done and lunch specials easy to find, which I appreciated. And I did order by calling before I left my house, which was easy and painless. Upon arrival, the restaurant is clean and they have set it up well for Covid precautions. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special with an egg roll. For less than $8, I got a great amount of food. It was piping hot and had a ton of fresh veggies and lots of chicken. I was really impressed with the quality of the food I received here. It was all very mild, which is OK with me. I added hot mustard which is my preferred spice for Asian food, but, if you like things spicy, you can request that when ordering. The egg roll was deliciously crispy and very good!! Overall, the meal tasted great and will definitely try their other options in the future. If you're in the area and looking for some quick Asian cuisine, give this place a try! Enjoy! read more

Wow, exactly what I needed! I've been looking for my new 'Lo mein spot' since having moved to the area over a year ago and this is it. They were timely, the food tasted great, they are local, all good things. I can't wait to try them again and this snap a pic or two of the food. Glad I found them! read more

Been craving Asian food and wanted to skip the popular chain nearby. Ordered the seafood combo and shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. First, they had incredible COVID-19 restrictions in place (if you're worried). The entire pick-up/order counter is behind plexiglass with a pass through for the receipt and food bags. We waited 10 minutes for the food and wow were we pleased! The serving sizes were great and the seafood combo had a small lobster tale among the other delicious proteins. The shrimp fried rice had a lot of shrimp and all the food was flavorful. We'll definitely be back! read more

New owners? The quality of the food has declined. I had chicken cashew and it had so much celery in it. I actually had to pick through it to take celery out. The chicken in the fried rice tasted old. read more

Very basic and bland chicken and broccoli and rice which leaves a cold greasy taste in your mouth. That's was the best about this place. Now we get to my wife's order a dragon Phoenix with shrimp. And some regular fried rice. They up charge you $2.00 for the fried rice. It just yellow rice but then you can smell the grease in it and nothing else.that is what turns it yellow just drowned it in canola oil they didn't put egg peas or carrot pieces in it. When you call up there and ask what goes into there fried rice they say the egg and stuff. When I asked why mine didn't. He got really rude about it. Worst Asian food I have ever had throughout the country!!!!!!! Don't bother read more

Food is Bland . And Lil man behind the counter seems to hate his life or his job .. maybe both . Will not be back . Should got a burger .

I did not care for it much husband and I got orange chicken and general Tso chicken . And it lacked flavor and quality. Rice didn't even look fried. Which comes with the combo. read more

I've been going to this place for 5-7 years and since the new owners took over the food quality has gone down and the guy at the front counter is rude and a real ass. I am done with this place, Bye read more

Very plain no taste the only good thing was the dumplings and eggs rolls but the chicken fried rice was not it and sea food bowls also wasn't giving all together and a waste of time, gas, money, and in the attempt to satisfy my hunger. read more

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Kenosha. They are closed Tuesdays, but open late most other nights. Their food is amazing. Try the crab Rangoon. read more

Great Chinese at reasonable prices. Food is good quality and always ready fast. What else can you ask for?

Takeout restaurants tend to get a bad rap for being unsanitary and poor quality, but Asian Taste does not fit the bill. Fresh food made to order and very conscious of cleanliness, especially due to the pandemic. It made me happy to see a restaurant taking the proper precautions while continuing to provide great service. Not to mention delicious food. Would recommend the Singaporean Rice Noodles - yum! read more

Well this will be the last time I go to Asian Taste. They must be under new management or something. I read previous reviews and was very shocked as I've never experienced anything like that. However..... I pretty much order the same thing 'occasionally ' mixing it up. Not only have they down sized (you don't get a full order of rice anymore) but they're charging the same prices?!?!?! So disappointed! Which lead me to go & read the newest posted reviews. They don't seem to understand word of mouth. Well, looks like I travel a little farther and go back to Chen's! So sad to see a good place worry more about the profit than their customers that made their business grow. read more

I'm sorry this was the WORST Chinese food I've ever had! Absolutely NO flavor ! Everything was old, rice was hard and had a crunch to the outer layer of it. The chicken was slimy we couldn't add enough soy sauce to even make it taste better. Egg roll - ALL DOUGH & not fried enough No flavor again If I lived closer I would of took it immediately back and demanded my money back !! I'm sorry to have to leave this review because I was really wanted Chinese food & needless to say I didn't eat very much . I WOULDNT EVEN LEAVE A STAR BUT I HAD TO read more

Clean restaurant with friendly staff and good food. Quick service, too. Great for carry out.

For a randomly picked local Chinese place this is really very nice. The food is well prepared and exactly what one would expect of a middle class type Chinese-American restaurant in a smaller area like this. The prep was fast and the end result of the combo came with an egg roll, chicken fried rice and the kung pao chicken was delicious. No negatives except that the way inn area was small hinting at their majority carryout/ delivery business. read more

As a senior living in the Covid-19 world I was very unnerved by ordering my favorite Chinese food from Asian Taste. But I found a serious resolution to their busy take out business. The small store front had a sign telling customers they allow only 5 people at a time to enter. I watched others go in and out before doning my mask and gloves to enter. Inside the desk area had been completed transformed. The open kitchen and front desk were behind floor to ceiling plexiglass. You swipe or tap your credit card and they place your order in a specially made one way box that you open outside the enclosed area to get your order. Everyone cooking and servicing the desk wore masks. I was extremely impressed with their ingenuity and care for their customers safety. Oh, and the food was delicious as always. Thank you Asian Taste. read more

We have been ordering from Asian Taste since they first opened. The food has been consistently great. Friendly staff and my order is always correct. read more

Asian Taste looks like a clone of every strip mall Chinese restaurant you've ever been to -- from the illuminated menu pictures above the counter to the limited seating. While it looks unremarkable, the food preparation is very speedy and very tasty. The crab Rangoon were delivered to our table mere minutes after we ordered and were plump with cream cheese. The fried dumplings were equally wonderful. Our entrees showed up before we were finished with our second Rangoon and were about the temperature of the surface of the sun. Both the bourbon chicken and Szechuan beef tasted fantastic and the portions were large enough that both my son and I were full at about the halfway point -- and they were still steaming hot. The only big negative of the meal were the egg rolls. They weren't particularly hot or crispy and the flavor was bland at best. In fact, they reminded me of something I'd get at a high school cafeteria. At the end of the day, Asian Taste is still just strip mall Chinese food, but it's darn good and a big step better than Panda Express. read more

Something has changed here, they are now using dark meat in their sesame chicken which leads to an unappetizing texture in your mouth when you bite into the chicken. It is too mushy and makes you think that it is just fat. Portions are still huge and the Noodle dishes are still good but they need to put white meat in the Sesame Chicken and any other battered chicken dishes for that matter! read more

I know people round here like Panda Express, but why choose Asian fast food when you can have more authentic cuisine ... and more food for your money? Love their Egg Foo Y(o)ung - super puffy, yet delicious patties. Their shrimp dishes are wonderful (I don't eat beef / pork / chicken). Nice that you can grab as many sauces / condiments as you like - many places never give enough! Prices are standard, but quality is king for me. I used to have to drive to Lucky Chen in Paddock Lake, so I was so happy AT opened a few years back. Sates all Asian cravings I ever have! read more

The food is horrible ane the customer service is laughable. Do your self a favor if you are reading this review. Eat any where else!

I was skeptical of this place, but was pleasantly surprised. Clean restaurant with friendly staff and good food. Quick service, too. Great for carry out. read more

This hidden gem in the Kenosha area serves excellent quality, cheap, fast Chinese food in a clean, well-lit, quiet restaurant. The menu has the typical staples you come to expect from an American-Chinese restaurant, but with a much fresher, cleaner taste than the typical Chinese restaurant. Meats are never gristly, veggies are fresh, nothing is ever greasy or heavy. The inside of the restaurant itself is immaculate, and it thankfully doesn't have the ubiquitous blaring HDTV so popular in restaurants now. The employees are friendly and hustle to get your food to you with lightning fast speed. My only complaint is that the food seems to be geared towards a Wisconsin palate, so even when I order the "spicy" dishes they're a bit too mild. That said, I still haven't found anything on the menu that I thought was less than great. read more

I've given this place a try twice now and I keep going away unsatisfied. The dumplings are too doughy and their fried rice is flavorless. I've ordered schezwan beef and chicken and both times I would have guessed I ordered something else. Not a schezwan flavor and definitely not spicy. The prices aren't bad but not nearly enough to make me come back. I was also a little disappointed with the service when dining in the restaurant. No real silverware, no glass of ice for my soda, and aside from bringing out my food the server never checked on me. read more

I just ordered delivery through door dash. Very tasty! I will for sure order often. Good amount of food too!

Best Asian food in the city. The owners are very friendly, the portion sizes are generous and the food is delicious. There have been times I get out of work late and ask to pick up food after hours and the owners have stayed open late for me so I can pick up my meal. Don't know of many other places that would do that for their customers. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Love this place! read more

I cannot stress enough how this place is one of the greatest restaurants you will find on this earth. I grew up in Kenosha and have always loved this place since they opened their doors.
