Sharp metal

We will never order from here again. Food is okay but my husband almost broke his tooth on a piece of metal in the kung pao chicken. He could have cut his throat had he swallowed it as its quite sharp. This could have been very bad.

China house is absolutely the best Chinese food in town. Affordable prices, generous servings, always fresh and fast, made to order.

One of the best Chinese carry out paces in Kenosha. My favorite place for steamed dumplings.

Not impressed. We just moved here and this is where we tried first. Nothing to look at inside. Food hot. Just average at best.

Mr Yee’s - Table service with pork fried rice

Mr. Yee's doesn't look like much from the outside. In fact, the back entrance looks pretty sketch…read more However, don't let this fool you. Mr. Yee was set to retire a number of years ago, and this created quite the panic in Kenosha. Many faithful patrons were beside themselves, desperate to buy up what they could for fear they'd never find another place to enjoy as much. Thankfully, Mr. Yee's son decided to step in, and Kenosha patrons were relieved that this beloved place would stay a fixture for them. We visited on a Wednesday night, after a piano recital at Olafson & Porter Vintage Goods down the street. We decided to share the Downtown Dan Dan, Mongolian beef, Steamed Wonton Dumplings and of course some egg rolls. The Dan Dan was ok, with the table agreeing that the sauce left an interesting after taste: a mixture of thick and somewhat chalky. The Mongolian beef was by far our favorite. The sauce was rich and savory, and the vegetables were generously sized, crisp yet tender. The jalapenos were an excellent touch, adding just the right amount of heat. The Wonton Dumplings were delicious, with the soft wrapping giving way to the well seasoned pork and shrimp filling. The ponzu sauce and chili oil topping gave each bite a delightful zesty finish. This place has a nice amount of seating, though does a fair amount of takeout. My only "issue" was the woman's bathroom. There were only two stalls, and one of them was out of order. The other one barely had space between the toilet and the stall door. Not convenient if you are a mom accompanied by a child. Overall, Mr. Yee's is a great place to stop in for good food with fast and friendly service.

A refreshed Yee's China Garden- growing up in Kenosha- this was a main stay and beloved by all…read more They've kept the charm and updated it as well. Lunch menu includes an egg roll with almost all plates. Big drink specials and drink menu. Happy to see it busy here. They have a happy hour with $5 snackables.... Sounds like we need to come back! OG egg roll- was not as big as they used to be... and didn't seem as stuffed with veggies as before... but we liked them. I would say a very good egg roll. Their hot mustard was perfect- cleared the sinuses! Lo mein was tasty- I liked the brown sauce. Could have used more chicken- but I liked my plate. Kung Pao came with seasoned brown rice- enjoyed. Different recipes for sure- but we thought the meal was good.
