This place was just wow. My wife was craving pho so we gave it a try. We were a party of six and ordered a wide variety from the menu. Beef brisket pho, egg rolls, sweet and sour soup, orange chicken, steak, sweet and sour pork, pot stickers were all bomb. The atmosphere is very mellow and small town in the best way. Great Pho! Price is on point and the quality and flavor is great. The broth is very rich. I also had a Vietnamese egg roll which was delicious. Great little place! I haven't had pho that was as good as their's in a log time. The tofu and the fried rice were also very delicious. The portions were also more than generous. The restaurant itself has a very casual yet classy ambiance and is very very clean. Our server was also very attentive and polite. Great experience! Friendly and attentive service from my waiter. My dinner was brought out within 10 minutes of being ordered. This was my first time ordering pho, and it did not disappoint! I chose the raw beef tenderloin pho - serving size was large but appropriate. The flavors of the pho with the added garnish and sauces was extra spicy and delicious! I also ordered sweet and sour chicken and beef fried rice to go, and those were both great as well. The beef fried rice was so buttery and flavorful - some of the best fried rice I've ever had! We've been here many times for their Bun. Always good. Always fresh. However, our last order didn't have peanuts (not the end of the world) and the sauce was spicy, like, almost couldn't eat it spicy. It's always been sweet and delicious so we were very disappointed. If I could give this place a 0 I would! My daughters and I tried this restaurant for the first time today and needless to say, we were very disappointed. The female owner is disgustingly rude and the food was awful. After requesting a refund or exchange, we were told that she has been open for 30 years without complaints and that she was not willing to work anything out. I later found out she was lying as I came online and read the reviews. The lettuce in the spring rolls were old, rice overcooked, the pho was horrible, the chicken was greasy and flavorless, the dumplings were doughy and disgusting and we didn't care for the bubble tea. you don't ever want to eat at this restaurant. they cross cantaminat the food. they use dirty chopsticks on customers food before they get there order by diging out part of the plate to make smaller portions. no one wears gloves and the food sits out defrosting not covered up and there are roach pads with roachs dead on them plus the cooks don't wear gloves and touch food without washing their hand. I would not eat at this place the lady sits behind the counter by the window, cutting her toenails and eating them. She even flicks them on the floor sometime.. plus she is rude when she is serving customers if she don't like how you complain about your food, she gets mouthy with you and please don't be black and come in your restaurant because if you're black, they will treat you very badly because they are racist their food is disgusting. They pick through it with their dirty chopsticks they have used if the cooks make too much then they pick through it so that you don't get the proper amount. I moved to the Kenosha area about 2 years ago and have since been on the quest for a quality Pan Asian restaurant without any luck until ordering from Saigon Panda. It's typically very easy for me to tell how good a place will be just based on how they prepare 2 menu items, Pot Stickers and Beef with Broccoli. Both were excellent. The Pot Stickers were large, filling was delicious and they were perfectly fried while not overly greasy. The beef in the broccoli beef was sliced thin, tender and delicious. The broccoli was crispy and not wilted which is rare. The brown sauce was also perfect. The consistency was on point, not gloppy from over use of a corn starch slurry. I would have given 5 stars but will need to try the Pan Fried Noodles and Mongolian Beef before i can speak for more of the menu. Keep up the good work. read more

Why is it so hard to find good, quality Chinese food in Kenosha? We ordered Empress chicken, orange chicken, fried rice and veggie egg rolls. Deliver time was quicker than the 45 minutes we were told. However, the chicken in the orange chicken was chewy and tough in a weird syrup- like dark brown sauce. The chicken in the Empress was like chicken meal, mushy with no texture. The vegetable gg rolls were soggy inside. Definitely not worth the prices they charge, but honestly, even if it were cheaper, we still wouldn't order from here again. read more

To whom it may concern at Saigon Panda, I attempted to patronize your business by ordering food from your restaurant through your pick up window during the month of December, 2020, but was sadly disappointed and disheartened to see inadequate and unsafe procedures in place, by your restaurant personnel. As you are aware, we are deeply immersed in a deadly pandemic! I wish that Saigon Panda would have more precautionary measures in place at your restaurant during this COVID-19 pandemic period, to prevent the spread of the virus. I felt the obligation to inform Saigon Panda that my family and I don't feel safe eating your food now because your staff is apparently not abiding by CDC Guidelines which requires you to wear a proper face mask while working in close contact with consumers. The person who handled my credit card and direct communications with me did not have a mask, did not wear protective gloves, and was not behind a shield while talking to me. It massively concerns me because I love your Vietnamese cuisine (one of my family's favorite restaurants) and seeing inadequate attempts of promoting social distancing at the drive thru, makes me not want to patronize your business, even after the pandemic is over. I would hate to boycott your business just because your employees aren't seeming to care to protect their patrons. Furthermore, there are a lot of people, forced to work the front lines as nurses, caretakers and those working at businesses that are still open, who are coming to your restaurant, to and from work. I suggest you take this 6 feet of social distancing seriously, along with proper face masks and gloves to be worn at all times during the process of handling food and interacting with patrons, so we can move back to normality sooner.
