Best Asian food and sushi around. Always better eating in and the service is always quick

This place honestly doesn't deserve a two star rating, but I feel bad as [[HIGHLIGHT]]the staff was really friendly and the interior of the restaurant was fine and they had a little robot carrying to-go orders to the front, so that was cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, the food was very bad. We ordered pad thai with tofu, and the dish that was brought out was about 75% massive, tasteless chunks of tofu. What few noodles could be found underneath all the tofu were mixed with chopped onion, diminishing their ratio even further. There was a tiny pile of about 1/2 tsp of ground peanuts added in one corner of the plate. The sauce tasted sour and burnt. One of the worst pad thai variations I've had in a long time. Still.. I wouldn't fault them just for having bad food, but within an hour of leaving the restaurant, both the spouse and I were having an upset stomach, and ended up not being able to finish our drive home without having to pull over and find a public restroom. I would chalk it up to coincidence, but my spouse revealed that when she used the restroom, [[HIGHLIGHT]]there were prominent signs indicating that no one is allowed to flush any sort of toilet paper down the toilet, and instead has to put them in open bins sitting in each stall next to the toilet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Each stall in the restroom had open trash cans filled with used toilet paper full of fecal matter, which is pretty horrifying to think of in a restaurant serving food in a first world country.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My spouse brought home her leftovers and heated up them the next morning and within a half hour of eating them, was already having an upset stomach again which endured for the remainder of the day. We would definitely not eat here again, and it seems like the health department probably needs to pay this place a visit. read more

We used to frequent this place. We went a few weeks ago and much has changed. We were told the management hasn't changed but something has. The food was good but not GOOD as it has been in the past. Decent spot for Antioch for sushi. I always like it here. Everything I've had has been good. I have only had 1 issue with the low mein to go, I don't think I'd recommend this unfortunately. Great Chinese food, but their Thai and Japanese dishes are just fair. The honey chicken is to die for!

My spouse and I went to Asian Harbor for lunch. We had not been there since 2023. The last time we were there, we remember the food being mediocre. We decided we would give it another chance. Not much has changed. There was only one other couple in there during the lunch hour. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some things that jumped out was that our table and the plates they had on the table were sticky with food stuff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We each ordered green tea that is served with the small tea cups. One pot of warm green tea was brought out and we were charged $6. If green tea is $3 each, I would expect each of us having our own separate teapot. We did send the tea back and ask them if they would heat it up, which they did. I ordered the lunch special chicken teriyaki Bento box. The chicken teriyaki was tough and chewy, and the vegetables were overcooked. Our server was nice however, my spouse's entrée was brought out and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the Bento box to be brought out. You would think that both should be brought out at the same time. On a positive note, our appetizers (eggrolls, and hot and sour soup) were quite good... however, not good enough for us to give this restaurant another try in the future. read more

Amazing food! I got the chicken teriyaki huge plate of fresh white breast of chicken cut up on a sizzling plate! Omg incredible. My husband did the sushi rolls. Had a taste for pot stickers which did not disappoint. Whatever the sauce is is amazing. The sushi rolls were pretty pathetic. The actual raw fish on top was soooo thin. Why bother? The roll itself had a funk. Haven't had sushi in a while and not from here in years so if I return it will only be for pot stickers. Big disappointment overall. read more

This is our new go to Chinese restaurant. Everything is fresh and the sushi rocks! The egg foo young is delicious, but for some reason it's not on the menu‍ The other main dishes we enjoy are the Mongolian beef and the Kung pao Shrimp. We love Asian Harbor and have been customers for years. They have done a great job with safety and precautions during the pandemic, and our carry out orders have been consistently excellent. Our standards are the three sushi roll lunch specials, which are great values that also include miso soup. We love their mussamun and panang curries as well. The kani salad is also one of our favorites. When dining in house, we've enjoyed the sizzling combo and the four seasons hot pot. The owner is super kind as well and always recognizes our family. Me and my husband went to asian harbor , we both had the pepper steak with white rice and egg rolls, the food was nice and hot the egg rolls were very good served with a sweet and sour sauce. A little on the expensive side but worth it. We definitely will be going back. Very good food, good service. read more

My dad insisted my sister and I try this place before we left town; his favorite asian restaurant. First most, the women who answered the phone to take our order was super kind and very knowledgeable. They had no problem making my dish GF; they were happy too which makes a huge difference. They were able to make my dish GF without skipping out on the taste. I got the Hunan beef and it had plenty of meat, veggies and sauce. It was super kind of the staff to give us separate bags on top of it, because my sister and I were living town to head home after a busy day with my dad for Father's Day. BONUS: We even got two types of soy sauce (GF for me and regular for my sister). We did have a little trouble getting through on the phones but I assume it was pretty busy based on how great our food was. It was totally worth it. The food was still hot by the time I got home (30+ min drive). Delicious! read more

I do not understand the hype surrounding this place. I have tried it at least three times, and all three times have thrown the food out. The chicken pad thai tasted like fish. The chicken lo mein, tasted like fish, as did the vegetable fried rice. Their crab Rangoon is ok. Their food is more expensive than other Chinese places in the area and this is a big swing, and miss for me. read more

Disappointed at how dry (yes. Dry.) and bland the food was - pad see ew noodles, Yaki soba noodles. The fried rice had an overpowering butter taste, which was weird for Asian food. The only thing that tasted good was the miso soup. read more

I really enjoyed my sushi and the chili catfish dish. The pad thai was pretty good overall. Didn't get to try the other dishes my family got. But the waitstaff was awesome. Food came out super fast and they have the robots to help serve. Pretty cool. I'd come back here. read more

I chose Asian Harbor to participate in the Ancient Jewish tradition of eating Chinese food on Christmas, and I definitely made the right choice. They have honey chicken, which is a rare find, and theirs is incredible. Although I was a little disappointed that it did not have any vegetables with it, especially since the picture showed broccoli. Sad, but not the end of the world. I will just have to order a side of vegetables next time. Also, they were so inundated with carryout and delivery orders, that they shut down their waiter service, but had a sign saying everyone was welcome to eat in the restaurant, if they want. They also offered water to everyone waiting for their food. While I was waiting for my order, some jerk wad came in and returned $55 worth of food, because he 'brought it to a party and nobody wanted it.' I'm not sure how that's the restaurant's problem, but they very graciously took it back and refunded his money. I personally would have told him where he could put that food. 2nd time we've ordered sushi - 1st time was take out... not good. So this time we decided to eat in. It was not great. server had no enthusiasm for her job and put in an order that we didn't ask for. I was asking a question and she assumed I wanted it. A little annoying as it was almost the exact same roll as the other one we did order. Spicy Salmon and spicy tuna both tasted very metallic and the tuna on the outside of the roll was more like dried tuna and paper thin. I would def go back for the Chinese food but no way on the sushi! I hope that server learns customer service in the meantime too. read more

This is one of our go-to lunch places as the food is predictably good - I always have the sushi special and I sample my partner's varied Thai dishes. What is sadly also predictable is the sullen service: without fail the waitresses never smile and, most recently, I felt we were an imposition on her day. The place: Booths line the walls, tables and chairs down the center. It was decorated, tastefully, for the holidays today. Seems pretty cozy. The location: Asian Harbor is in a strip mall next door to a Family Video. Lots of parking since there's a parking lot for the strip mall. The food: Crab Rangoon came out hot with delicious dipping sauce. The wonton wrapper was thick and crunchy. Good balance between crab taste and cream cheese filling. We got 6 rolls which came out on a boat. The star of the selection was definitely the dragon roll which had a great balance of fish, vegetable, and sauce. The sweet potato roll was very mild, and the avocado roll was scrumptious. Eel cucumber roll was high quality as was the spicy tuna. The tempura crab was a little difficult to manage because the roll was so big--not really a "one bite" piece, but still tasty. The service: Highly accommodating. My friend is very thirsty and he never let her water get below half full. Next time: I have to take a closer look at the signature rolls, there were two pages of them on the menu! read more
