If I could add negative stars, I would. They're extremely lucky I had an epi-pen or I would've had to go to the hospital and be forced to sue them for sending me into anaphylactic shock. I'm allergic to pineapples. I specifically asked if they served the Orange Chicken with pineapples, they said yes. I TOLD THEM I'm HORRIBLY allergic to pineapples and asked if it was POSSIBLE for them to cook my food WITHOUT pineapples. They said YES. THEY LIED. Not only did they make my food in a batch with my allergen, they simply scooped out as many as they could see in my top layer of food. I had started eating and immediately knew something was wrong. I told my friend who was with me and they started investigating. No pineapple in the first layer of food they picked through, but when they reached the bottom of the box there they were. Hidden at the very bottom, and I immediately went for my Epi. It makes me extremely upset that they ignored my allergy as I had asked if it was possible for them to exclude it entirely from the dish and preparation. I told them specifically that I'm extremely allergic, to the woman's face, looking her directly in the eyes as she lied and said yes they could completely exclude them. If I knew they wouldn't do anything I requested, I would've ordered something else. Severely disappointed and disgusted with my service. What I ordered look like top Ramen the noodles are disgusting. It was not chow mein at all, and believe me, I've had chow mein I lived in New York, I've had both chow mein and lo mein the noodles I had were broken top Ramen seriously for what I paid I would not recommend this place not even to dogs it was disgusting. Am I upset you bet, my spouse kept telling me if I wanted to take the food back I just told her no the beef and broccoli it was OK the fried rice honestly it looks like white rice covered with dressing. It did not look like fried rice at all I lived in the bay area, grew up in the Bay Area, like I said before I moved around a lot tried different restaurants this was despicable horrible horrific don't know how this restaurant has stayed in business. I had enjoyed this place several times before the Pandemic. I used to order the Egg Flower Soup and the Tempura Salad. I loved the fact that the owners daughters and sons would wait on you. There would be condiments on the table (soy sauce, salt and pepper) and if you asked for chili sauce they would grab some from the refrigerator and bring it to your table. The service was amazing! Well, it's been 3 years since I have made a return visit. You are now required to order your food at the window and then pay at the window. Then they bring out your order In styrofoam containers. I remember enjoying the food so much, very fresh. Today I ordered a Sushi roll and some chicken egg rolls. The owner brought the food out and I immediately thought, "darn, it's so disappointing that my food is in styrofoam and the soy sauce is in packets and my request for some red chili was served in packets as well. I remember enjoying the red chili being brought out from the refrigerator and served fresh. Overall the food which included an appetizer- chicken egg rolls, which were (I feel bad cause I wasn't truthful when the owner asked me how I liked the egg rolls, she mentioned that they were something new on the menu, I said they were good. I thought they weren't tasty and possibly old tasting.) The sushi roll was satisfactory but nothing special. I know it's difficult to get sufficient help these days after experiencing the pandemic. But eating from styrofoam along with food that didn't resemble the food that I experienced when they first opened was really disappointing. I try to help family run businesses so I felt like I should be honest so maybe it might help in the future planning of their business. read more

I ordered the Chinese Combo Plate. I got honey walnut prawns, fried rice and it comes with 2 chicken potstickers. My favorite Chinese dish is honey walnut prawns so I've had a good amount of them. Their shrimp were not prawns, it's just regular small shrimp. Also the flavor wasn't that tasty, it had an uneven balance because it had more of a mayonnaise taste. It should have a good mix of honey and mayo. The fried rice wasn't bad, I've had better. I also ordered a Las Vegas Roll. They are still making it. I will update my review. read more

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Completely inedible. The pot sticker looked like if was microwaved so bad that it was crunchy. I am so glad I tried this restaurant today. I come to find out it's the same owner ass the old Hong Kong Express downtown Modesto. If you used to go there & enjoyed the food, then you will definitely enjoy the food here as well. We ordered the String Bean Beef combo & Mushroom Chicken combo (both with fried rice) and I also ordered the Chicken Ramen (just to try it). All were delicious!
