I called before going there today and asked if they serve those buchi balls (sesame balls with mung beans filling) and fried plantain/ banana, because they do don't serve those everyday so I had to make sure before going there. We've been coming here for years. We've been twice in the past 2 months and won't be back. This last time the food on the buffet was room temperature. We're were a group of 9 - and all had food that was not hot (except the hibachi that was good) I told our server who didn't understand but he got someone who appeared to be a supervisor. She got someone in the kitchen involved. They said they wound cook whatever we wanted 'fresh' but they missed the point that they needed to get the buffet area hot, throw out the room temperature food and cook all new food. Then they wanted to show me show tide 1/2 inch of water under the serving pans was hot. I asked her what temperature the food was on the buffet but she said she didn't have a thermometer! Everything was fresh and tasted great! Everyone kept on top of food that was getting even slightly low and our waitress everytime we have been there has been excellent! This is one of those buffets that really get a five-star from me but you cannot help to see how the customer service is here especially the owner / manager I would assume. You will see him at a very vibrant attitude with everybody and even singing to a few as I have seen. You will find crab legs here which might run you about $15 per person on the weekends properly as well as the weekend nights but I was able to buy a Yelp discount from the 15 to $10 price. Parking will be difficult to find addicts peak hour but people come and go quickly so there should not be more than a five or ten minute wait at the most. There is Mongolian Stir Fry here as well as a sushi station along with your usual pseudo Chinese American food items. The crab legs were great to have but really had no flavor at all as well as the fake butter which is actually probably margarine. Watch out for the elderly lady with the little food cart, I do not know if it is part of the props but I think I got bumped into about 3 times by her, it was comical because you see this sweet old lady running and bumping into people thinking maybe this is part of the play or maybe not? But it's kind of cute especially when you see her coming towards you the 4th time and learn to stay out of her way! I do not know if everyone else receives a item of their choice at the end but when I paid my bill I was given a Chinese calendar which was a nice addition to end my night. read more

First and last visit here. This is not a 4 star restaurant. I told the manger about raw shrimp in raw chicken he said " I see it and fix it" That was a lie he ignored me and the situation and it sat there the whole time I was there. The cook on the grill did not keep the food counter wiped down only cooked and was on his phone. I took a picture of it right before I left. They have no flavor in the food. After seeing that this place had 4.5 Stars and a lot of positive comments, we decided to eat here. This place was rated #1 in Dallas, but it couldn't be any further from the truth. As soon as I was walked in, I could tell that the restaurant was going to be a disappointment. The facility was a bit run down. As ai walked passed the food, I notched that the food looked old, and didn't have the same presentation that you see at other Chinese buffets. Even though the restaurant was going to be open another 1.5 hours, they already shut down the Mongolian grill, and stopped putting out sushi. All the food as abnormally sweet for this type of food. My two sons (9 & 13) noticed that "the food was not very good." The staff did a great job, and was quick to clear the tables, and drinks were refilled promptly. The place appeared clean. read more

I've been going to this buffet for years and this is the first time my waiter held a conversation with me regardless of the language barrier. Linda was super sweet and took care of my party and I. We didn't feel rushed or hovered over. Linda wasn't begging/harassing people for a tip. I think many Asian restaurants are replacing individuals that do beg for tips or rush people before they have finished their meal. It's very bad for business and people will go elsewhere. Because of my pass experience I've been going to other Asian buffets, but the meat is 100% better here. I decided to give them another try praying I would have good vibes with my server. I like the food at this location. Did have some questions and problems that were addressed to management. 1. First I had noticed a lot of steaks on their Yelp page and called early one day to ask about that. At first was told that the don't have steak cooked and on the buffet but if you ask for it when you come in it can be cooked and included in the buffet. I did that and no. This time the manager tells me it's a buffet no steak. 2. There are pictures of Mongolia Beef being pink in the center (undercooked) and breading tasted raw. 3. Cold shrimp did not have ice under it. There wasn't even any cold water. Shrimp was warm and tasted sour. Manager was notified and came to my table telling me Shrimp had been removed and asked if I wanted some other shrimp. I didn't want that kind shrimp anymore. And the cold shrimp was never changed out until they closed 4. Our party arrived at 8:30pm and they close at 10:00. Pans of food were not refilled during that time. Pictures that I posted were taken around 9:30pm. 5. I asked for 2 separate tickets. All guests were put on one ticket. Also I copied 15% off coupons and when asked twice the manager answered twice that the discount had been taken off. Charge was suppose to be about &19 charge on bank statement over $21. Discount was not applied. All that to say, I like the food and will be back but only in the afternoon. Just really disappointed to have unsafe food on the line. Typical Chinese buffet food fare, but it was cooked pretty decently. They also have hibachi and sushi (that actually has REAL fish on it!). The place is actually really pretty and clean - I was surprised to find out it's been open for 3 years. I thought it was brand new. Servers were really nice and attentive. Good service. Unfortunately the food and ambiance is just not good. My kids remember going before Covid and this is the first time we've been there in 3 years. Even the kids noticed a decline in quality, even though the place was somehow packed. On. Sunday evening, it was so crowded that we could barely squeeze in between people to get food. When we did it was not even warm which is surprising because they were constantly bringing food out. The sweet & sour sauce was watered down, the honey chicken was gooey, and hardly anything that appeared fresh. Everything is fried or coated in sauce beyond recognition. The kids used to love the ice cream but it was more like flavored ice, not sure how you'd call it ice cream. We won't be back. read more

We ordered from here. They forgot the sushi and messed up another order. We called them and asked if we could come back to get what was forgotten and have the other item remade correctly. We even offered to bring back all the food we were given so they could see. We live close so it wasn't an issue (at least for us it wasn't). It was clearly an issue for them. We were told to contact DoorDash...it was a pick up order....after finally explaining that they said what we ordered was correct and we should have asked for something different. We explained their photo and description was then inaccurate as we went based off that and that's not what we got plus the sushi was still missing. After arguing back and forth for another 8 mins, they said they could give us a free item next time we come in. That didn't help us now and after our experience thus far we were not planning on going back. We explained this and asked for our food to be corrected. We weren't asking for a free meal, a discount or a refund. We simply wanted our food. They finally agreed. When we went back up there the staff continued to belittle us about us ordering "the wrong thing". We didn't order the wrong thing. The description and photo were falsely and incorrectly advertised and our other item was MISSING. There was never an apology. Never any accountability taken. My advice to the owners and staff, you never know who you're dealing with and I HIGHLY recommend getting a crash course in customer service and how to work in the service industry. Upon inspection of the interior of the restaurant there are clear health code violations as well...again...you never know who you're dealing with. First and last time here. read more

The food at this buffet was great! We went during dinner time on the weekend and the buffet was so busy, it was unbelievable. We were still seated immediately and our server was quick and helpful. They have crab on the weekend. However, the crab was constantly gone because people were viciously waiting nearby and snatching up the crab once they brought out a new batch. And this happened with most of the other popular dishes too. The kitchen and staff were having a hard time cooking fast enough and bringing out the food quick enough. There would be lines for some of the items. It was ridiculous. But that just goes to show that this was a good buffet and the quality of the food was good. They just need to somehow improve efficiency, if anything. But it's not their fault that there were so many hungry people. I would recommend this place. But maybe not at the busiest times because it was a little chaotic with everyone basically fighting for food. read more
