Ambiance is lacking but food is delicious. Typically order pan-fried dumplings and broccoli beef.

The red Thai curry was particularly enjoyable, rich in flavor and well-prepared, though I would personally request a higher spice level next time to better suit my taste. The only other thing I would change is if the crab Rangoon were a little more crispy, to me they had a little harder (stale almost) shell than normal, but the crab was awesome on the inside. One of the standout aspects of this restaurant is the impressive variety on the menu, offering something for everyone regardless of preference. Overall, the combination of quality food, diverse options, and outstanding service made for a memorable visit. I look forward to returning in the future.

I ordered the combo fried rice, hot and sour soup, and pan fried dumplings. The fried rice had good flavor, had a good amount of meats and vegetables and was large enough for me to make 3 meals out of it. The only thing I didn't like was how oily it was. The hot and sour soup is my favorite item on their menu. Perfect level of spice and tang, very comforting on a cold day. The pan-fried dumplings didn't taste cooked - they were oily and the dough was chewy instead of a bit crunchy. If fried correctly they should have been a light golden brown - these were still white (color of the dumpling wrapper). I fried them for a few minutes when I got home - they were okay in flavor...probably won't order again. Overall, a good neighborhood restaurant with a large selection of Asian dishes...and for a good price.

Should've done a side-by-side, but it was only me. Lol. The fish was exquisite. The heat was also good. This dish pairs really well with rice; I also enjoy taking the leftovers home, letting them sit overnight in the fridge, and enjoying with more rice. Mmm! But I am from out of town and was alone, so I ate it all there. They don't have WiFi, but there was some "guest Frontier" WiFi that was good for an hour. (And you can refresh it each hour.) Next time, I would try the "Szechuan Boiled Fish." Or if that's too much, the Mapo Tofu. The radio was playing like Christian soul; new to me, but as a Christian, I didn't mind. =) Oh, and in the pic I have my Kefir from Trader Joe's. I wanted something dairy to counter the heat, if needed. Mmm.

Tried Noodle Works for the first time, after hearing about it on social media. I placed an online…read moreorder for the two chicken egg rolls, Spicy chili wontons, general Tso chicken and an order of fried rice flat noodles. All the food was on the expensive side, but I heard it was good, so I didn't mine. One of the first thing I noticed was the entrees do not come with rice. There is a $1 up charge for white rice and $3 for fried rice, $5 for noodles. I have never experienced a Chinese restaurant that charged for white rice with an entree (not even PF Chang). I arrived 10 minutes after the time I was told my food would be ready. I checked in at the register and was told it would be another 5 minutes. I was told to have a seat and wait. Since there is no place to sit when waiting for a take out order, I sat down in the closet booth next to the register. After about 1 minute, a very rude lady came over in broken English and screamed that I could not sit there. I told her I was waiting on a to-go order and she just kept screaming "you don't can sit there", so I got up and stood by the front door. If my food had not already been paid for, I would have left after that rude encounter. The ambiance of the restaurant is very strange as they had a boombox loudly playing 80s music. It was so load, I felt bad for the customers who were eating at there. No way you could enjoy siting there listening to the annoying loud music while you ate. About 5 minutes later (15 minutes past the time they originally told me it would be ready) my food was ready. The food did come out very hot. I retrieved my food and took it home to enjoy. Overall the food is very basic and not worth the elevated price. The egg rolls were over fried and greasy. The spicy wonton were very bland and not spicy at all. The general Tso chicken was not good. Very small pieces of chicken, over breaded and a bland sauce. Again not spicy at all. The fried flat rice noodles were the biggest disappointment. Mushy noodles that were all stuck together. Not good at all. Overall the Noodle Works was a big disappointment. There are so many better option in the area (Dragon House or the Wok). Do yourself a favor and skip the rude staff Noodle Works.
