We wanted to try this place because we get more points on the Fetch app. It's nicely decorated, but it's more like a Asian sports bar. There was a football game on, People were clapping and hollering so if you're looking for a quiet place to have a nice meal, this isn't it. The service was good and the food was good. The egg rolls were tiny wrapped in spring roll wrapper. The crab rangoon was very tough and had almost no crab or immitation crab, did not know it was possible to be tough. The sesame chicken had chili peppers cut up in it... maybe I should have read the menu better but it wasn't great. read more

So many amazing recommendations for this place on our neighborhood Facebook page, that we decided to try it. The only good thing I can say is that the food was hot when we picked it up and that it was ready on time. That was it. The lemon chicken was served as strips of flat breaded chicken on a bed of cabbage with lemon sauce in a separate container. The chicken had no flavor. Not even salt. The crab rangoons were made with a thick breaded type dough and had big pieces of onion in it and a lot of cream cheese and I never saw "crab" in it. It seemed like they were reheated and not made fresh. Then there was the rice. When I opened the steamed rice, it smelled fermented but I thought surely not. How can you mess up steamed rice? My daughter and I had upset stomachs after eating and then diarrhea started. 24 hours later, still diarrhea. This food was literally the only thing either of us ate in 24 hours. I like to think that every business is entitled to a bad day, but with this quality of food, I would avoid this place! read more

We had been here once before but back during COVID when you had to grab and go. So this time we decided to try the dinner experience in a Wednesday night. The inside is very warm and inviting. They greet you instantly when you walk in and let you pick a table to sit at. Bill was our waiter and such a nice guy. I think we made a new friend tonight. That's the kind of service that makes people want to come back again and again. We ordered the General Tsao chicken and the sesame chicken, both with fried rice. He brought out these crispy chips and a sweet sauce along with a spicy horseradish type sauce. Loved it!!! Our dinners were awesome. My sesame chicken was cooked perfectly with a nice crispy outside that I like. Not too sweet either. My wife really liked her General Tsao chicken. Watch out for those little bit peppers . I've been craving hot and sour soup and this hole in the wall reached out and grabbed us so I went straight to yelp and thought why not. Started off with the hot and sour soups. They were good though the hot and sour soup was missing the "sour" but still pretty good. They turned out to be the highlight of our meal. We tried the Lettuce wraps, crab Rangoon and Pan seared dumplings. The lettuce wraps were good not great but good. The Crab Rangoon was horrible and I do mean horrible. I remember looking confused when the waitress brought them out thinking she had the wrong table until she indicated it was the crab Rangoon and since I'm never one to judge a book by its cover dug right in. One was enough though...The Pan seared dumplings were ok...bland and rubbery in texture. We opted to not order a main entree. Service was fast and pleasant. A hard pass. read more

First time visiting Tang's Pacific Bistro with my roommate...it is a nice small Chinese restaurant. When you first walk in, you walk into the bar area and then to your left you have your tables. We had a choose table. The server was nice and friendly. No real complaint other than we had no silverware. I had to grab some from another table. I ordered hot and sour soup and curry chicken with fried rice . Both the soup and the curry chicken were good. My roommate ordered dumplings and cajun andouille sausage. Lately, the food portion/taste has been subpar, very limited on ingredients. Their B1G1 Free promo doesn't make sense. They mark up the price then add the item as a B1G1 free special. They also gave us the wrong item last time we ordered, door dash did issue us a credit. We haven't been ordering here lately and thought to give them another try tonight. I called once regarding an Uber Eats delivery & they were so apologetic. They even had the Manager call me & it honestly was not a big deal. They missed 1 extra egg-roll (it happens). Jessica called me & was so sweet & genuinely concerned. She really cared about our experience & the reputation of her establishment. She more then made up for a missed egg roll. We especially love the orange chicken & shrimp (our favorites). They give you a bag of crunchy noodles with your meal & every other restaurant we have been to charges extra for them. I have only recently visited Tangs Pacific Bistro in person. My family moved to the Keller area just before the lock down, so it's only recently that I've been able to visit in person. When I walked in I was immediately transported into an environment that in a word can only be described as HAPPY. People were merrily chatting with the man behind the bar, the conversation seemed fun snd cheery. The rest of the staff were friendly, and smiles could be perceived even behind their masks. But I'm sure you are wondering more about the food, and as someone that loves Asian cuisine, Tangs is my go to place. Our family has ordered from various Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese restaurants in our community, none of them being 'bad' but also none of them topping our fondness of Tangs. The freshness is what keeps us coming back. The food always looks and tastes as if they just went to the farmers market to purchase the vegetables, and the protein options are always tender and well seasoned. We recommend Chicken and Broccoli, Hot & Sour Soup, Crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and all the Szechuan dishes are my sons favorite. Spicy but not murdery is how he puts it lol.
