While the portions were good and flavor was fine, it seems they must have mixed older food with fresher food, otherwise I cannot explain why some piece of the sesame chicken tasted fairly fresh while other pieces were pretty hard and overcooked. In my opinion it would be a clear case of filling out a portion with older product instead of making more. No one ate those pieces because it looked and tasted old and dry (from reheating too long or over cooking. The egg rolls were tiny wrapped in spring roll wrapper. The crab rangoon was very tough and had almost no crab or immitation crab, did not know it was possible to be tough. The sesame chicken had chili peppers cut up in it... maybe I should have read the menu better but it wasn't great. read more

We had been here once before but back during COVID when you had to grab and go. So this time we decided to try the dinner experience in a Wednesday night. The inside is very warm and inviting. They greet you instantly when you walk in and let you pick a table to sit at. Bill was our waiter and such a nice guy. I think we made a new friend tonight. That's the kind of service that makes people want to come back again and again. We ordered the General Tsao chicken and the sesame chicken, both with fried rice. He brought out these crispy chips and a sweet sauce along with a spicy horseradish type sauce. Loved it!!! Our dinners were awesome. They were good though the hot and sour soup was missing the "sour" but still pretty good. They turned out to be the highlight of our meal. We had a choose table. The server was nice and friendly. No real complaint other than we had no silverware. I had to grab some from another table. So many amazing recommendations for this place on our neighborhood Facebook page, that we decided to try it. The only good thing I can say is that the food was hot when we picked it up and that it was ready on time. That was it. The lemon chicken was served as strips of flat breaded chicken on a bed of cabbage with lemon sauce in a separate container. The chicken had no flavor. Not even salt. The crab rangoons were made with a thick breaded type dough and had big pieces of onion in it and a lot of cream cheese and I never saw "crab" in it. It seemed like they were reheated and not made fresh. Then there was the rice. When I opened the steamed rice, it smelled fermented but I thought surely not. How can you mess up steamed rice? My daughter and I had upset stomachs after eating and then diarrhea started. 24 hours later, still diarrhea. This food was literally the only thing either of us ate in 24 hours. Most restaurants use sushi rice for their fried rice (annoying) and it seems no one knows how to make hot and sour soup. Tang's rights both of these wrongs! They have a slew of lunch specials from 11am-3pm and a great happy hour from 2pm-5pm that includes lots of their appetizers at a discounted price. I can't explain how fire their hot mustard is! It's beyond addictive - so good, you should try it. My favorite menu items are: Kung Pao Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan House Special Chicken Hot and Sour Soup Crab Rangoon Sesame Chicken Egg Fried Rice I almost always have some special request, and my order is ALWAYS made correctly.
