Orange, Sweat sour chicken beef and broccoli chow mien this places is absolutely amazing and delicious generous portion sizes great price!

I absolutely love this spot it is so delicious and amazing portion sizes are very generous and prices are great compared to other spots I highly recommend this restaurant no complaints here!!! If your looking for a good spot to go GOO HERE

Roach that was mixed in with the fried rice

Tried it for the first time today and will never be going back. I found a roach in my fried rice and after contacting them they asked for the food back (???), refund was issued but no sincerity or apology was given. The HUGE issue was not taken seriously at all and it felt like it was just trying to be shoved under the rug. Would never recommend to anyone.

We visited this restaurant for the very first time today. The service was quick and the food smelled great. However, to our horror, we found a cockroach in the rice we were served. I called the restaurant and was told I had to go back in person to return the food, and they couldn't issue a refund over the phone. I went back to the restaurant and they honored their word, but not once did they offer any sort of apology. Very disappointing on many fronts. Someone who was in line approached us after witnessing the interaction and mentioned it was his first time there, and asked if there was something wrong with the food. I told him what we found and he decided to leave. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food is tasty, but the customer service is bad. The ladies working in the front never greet anybody or say thank you at all.

Greasy/oily Chinese fast food. Cheap prices with lots of diff selections. You can eat better for about the same amount of money.

Best Chinese spot to grab lunch whenever I'm in Pittsburgh! Their sweet shrimp is way better than any honey walnut prawns I've ever had!

Good selection. Usually in and out as never really too busy there. Food tends to be pretty bland. Prices are fair.

Their posted hours on the door as well as on Yelp say that they are open until 9 PM. When I walked in, there was no worker to be found. A young man emerged, and he looked confused. I asked what time they were open until. He said 9 PM. It seemed like he finally realized that I wanted to eat, and he tried to take my order to go, although he didn't give me a menu. I asked if I could be seated and get a menu. He awkwardly said OK. After I sat down, he came over and said that the cook might leave early, and that I might want to hurry up and order. I politely excused myself and said that I would come back another time. I then drove to another nearby restaurant that also is open till 9 PM. I didn't get there until 9:35 PM, but they served me and were very pleasant, and I had a great dinner. I don't understand why a business would post their hours and then not abide by them.

The portions at dinner are huge and great if you have a big family. The lunch specials are a great value and they have a nice variety of lunch items to choose from. I like the Kung Pao Chicken and the fried rice. Very delicious! It would be so nice if they offered dinner specials for single diners. When I ordered dinner the other night it really was overpriced for one person. I didn't like the Mushu at all. Why did they add hoisin to the Mushu itself? ***Yuck!!!!***That's supposed to be a sweet condiment on the side of a savory dish and it wasn't at all yummy having it included inside. I wanted the usual contrasting flavors. Also; the Salt Pepper Tofu had a little too much baking soda in the crust and an off flavor, and I do rideshare, so the huge portions are wasted on me because taking food to go isn't even an option for me. I am giving 4 stars, because I had a 5 star exleriences and 3 star experiences here. They really need to offer plates to single diners at night instead of trying to make us purchase more food than we need, which is particularly disappointing when food quality isn't there. Uncle Wangs is my go-to restaurant when I am in Pittsburgh! Most of their food is top-notch and they have good service. They should also really consider turning down the volume of the to-go order bell. I will return to this restaurant at lunchtime to order something other than what I made the mistake of ordering the last time. They have lovely service, which makes up for the cook last time.

Kudos for the variety: they have both Japanese and Chinese items on the menu…read more We were a party of five and ordered off the tablet. I got the Taiwanese braised beef ramen. The portion was good, but the main star of the show: the "braised beef" was hard, dry and tough. Truly, almost inedible. I sampled a takoyaki from the group's shared apps and that was pretty good. Service was painfully slow and they boxed my poor nephew's chicken teriyaki order to go. Not sure how that happened? Anyways, after the four of us were halfway done with the meal, we flagged someone down and they brought him the to go order to eat in house.

As with these type of noodle soup, the star should be their brother but sadly their house special broth lacks the depth of flavor you would expect from slow simmered soup with beef bones, herbs and spices. The noodles, eggs and beef was cooked well. The fried tofu was huge portions and nice starter. One good touch this restaurant does is you can order a side order of BBQ short rib and chicken and both does not disappoint; well marinated and cooked well. The vegetable tempura was a bit over fried. For drinks, I opted for a fruit tea with 50% sugar which was refreshing for a hot day. Staff here was friendly and food came out quickly. If you're expecting a good hearty bowl of noodle soup you may be disappointed, but there's always their other rice plate option and fruit/milk tea you can enjoy.

Couple things I do want to mention especially who was in the restaurant industry for 12 years, is service nowadays are just horrible! If I was not there with my parents(who are in their 60s) they probably wouldn't have known to order "with their phones" no one told us to order through our phone on a QR code, so until I realized it maybe 10 minutes after figuring out what we wanted that a server was not going to come to us to take our order that we had to do it on the phone. Only good thing about this location was the food did come out quickly and our hotpots were delicious!! But our rice felt like they came from the bottom of the barrel, all mushy! It felt like the workers/servers were too busy "slowly shutting down" to check on our table, we needed more broth for our hot pots and no one came to us, my husband who was injured had to limp his way to the kitchen area to let a server know we needed more soup. Then later on we all ran out of water, I had to yell out for a service which I was totally ignored by the gentleman that was setting up tables by us. Like you guys can't even check on your customer?? Closing down is more important? Like people are still eating and people are still coming in. Like ya'll close at 9:30PM not 9PM. Though the food was delicious, my family and I will not be coming back to this location. Hire better staff. Or just have robots do your job for you.
