Saved by the ice cream! I can usually find something nice to say about everyplace I go and Asian Buffet waited to the very last second to not call me a liar! I came here at 1:45pm on a Tuesday. I've seen the sign many times and since I needed to go to Walmart anyhow, I decided to give it a try.... Walking in, saying the ambiance is unimpressive is being too kind. You literally walk into an empty anteroom! Service is fair. I was already on my second trip through the buffet before my drink came. And in a buffet, that is the majority of the service you get. The food here is actually bad! Most dishes were lukewarm to cool. All were dried out from sitting too long. As for flavor, let's just say I did not find a single dish that I wanted seconds of! The saving grace came at the very end.... They have five different flavors of serve yourself ice cream. Which was very good! If you want to spend $12.00 for all you can eat ice cream, this is your place! Sorry Asian Buffet, but I recommend everyone eat elsewhere.... Jim read more

The ambiance could've been better, the service could've been better, and the food is so sugary and oily that it's basically candy and has little to no nutritional value. Though you do get all you can eat for very cheap, which is the only reason to eat here. If you don't care what you eat or what it's doing to your body then you'll love this place, if you want to keep both your feet for the foreseeable future then avoid this place. read more

1. This is a buffet - nobody should be telling customers how much they can eat, what they can put in their Hibachi order, and/or saying "oh you're back for more?" 2. When asked for a senior discount, give the discount. 3. When checking people out, take off your gross, dirty blue gloves. 4. We were met by a rather businesslike, abrupt older man who seated us, took our drink order and disappeared with no pleasantries. The food was "meh" at best. Don't order the chicken here I am not sure it is really chicken. I am not joking about this. I ordered through Grubhub from this place and got the general Tso chicken. If that is chicken I have never seen any chicken like that before in my life. The pork lo mein was not bad and looked and tasted like pork. The hot and sour soup was not hot or sour. Ate here today and our food was cold , we had orange chicken, stuffed shrimp , chicken broccoli all cold and the hot n sour soup had no flavor and no spice to eat . You can see steam coming up at buffet but food cold guess I need to report as this can cause people to be sick . I hope the owner is reading this and fixed the issues ASAP .... After a year not eating at a Chinese food buffet ended up at this place after a dentist appointment. Should have paid more attention to the signage falling off outside to have tried another location. I think business owners that can't keep up proper maintenance won't be detail oriented with their food but that's just me. Went inside the place and it was really dusty and looked dingy. Even after being being shouted at "to go only" several times did I decide to still give this location a try since I had noticed 1 good review about there being some healthy food options on Yelp. Should have noticed the review was 3 YEARS OLD!!! Oh and we were ordered to use the sanitizer as well. Not that I mind using hand sanitizer I just hate having an order barked at me. Of course the hibachi grill area was closed. That area with lights out looked so uninviting come to think about the dining area lights were off too which are usually an omen for me to get the hell out of dodge. Anyways, I looked around at their very limited buffet selection and filled a plate. I liked the Salmon for the most part but everything else was either cold, dried out (Teriyaki Chicken), tasteless (fried rice), hard to chew (beef with jalapeños) or tasted yucky (LoMien). Nothing really healthy except the boiled Salmon and hardly anything else. So, In my opinion, this location is not doing anyone any favors by staying open. If they can't open their Habachi grill and buffet to dine in patrons then they should just shut down till they can. No one wants cold, dried out awful tasting food to go. I thought this place was terrible on so many levels. But that's just my opinion. I was actually surprised, this place was really good (and clean). The buffet had a good number of options, both healthy and ...... FAT!. The sushi was fresh enough, nothing overtly complex, but it was better than the average sushi offering at a buffet. The Mongolian section was similar. They had a great selection of fresh fruit as well. Cannot stress how clean the place was and how nice the staff was. They made me glad that I'd cleared everything out beforehand and had lots of space for food in me . My only other experience dining in Cleburne tx was Grumps, and that left my stomach and anus very upset with me. Seriously, like the old arcade game Splatterhouse! Definitely will not be returning here. Some of the food selections definitely looked and tasted like they were yesterday's leftovers. The orange chicken was terrible! I felt as of it was a very limited selection of food as far as buffets go. The ice cream station some of the tubs just looked nasty. The soup bowls were 2 stations down from where the soup is. The food was average and a couple in our party got overcharged. We were finishing up and one of the ladies hovered at the end of our table waiting for us to leave. It was just very rude, especially for a buffet since I could have gotten up and got another plate. I would understand if we were there for a long period of time but we were barely there for an hour and most of that was us talking as a family while eating. As we got up part of our party left their tip on the table and as we walked away the waitress picked it up and scoffed. We have been here in the past month twice already and have been going late, around 8-ish at night. Although there are not a lot of customers at that time, there is still a good amount of food in the buffet trays. Except for the sushi. There is not a lot of sushi left and whatever is there does not look appetizing and does not seem fresh anymore. Management and wait staff very attentive. +Reasonable prices and lots of hot/cold entree choices. -No dim sum options and the sushi selection was unimpressive. -Buffet items presented at appropriate temperatures but most, especially the stir fry, lacked flavor. I assume that's because they must appeal to a wide range of potential customers. ++The star of the show is the Mongolian option. You select your meat, vegetables and seasoning and they cook it fresh right in front of you. My recommendation is to bypass the steam tables and go straight here.
