Dinos is a new culinary diverse restaurant a long Plaza Drive, the road that runs parallel with 377. They serve great American cuisine, but also serves true authentic Indian cuisine. Everything is delicious, the staff goes above and beyond to make their customers are happy. The restaurant is super cute, clean and very inviting. The Indian is very authentic and my husband (who LOVES Indian food) and I enjoy dinning at Dino at least once a week. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. read more

Once we got our food, I enjoyed it. It wasn't really a buffet. There was no food cooked so they cooked everything fresh which was nice and very tasty. If you're expecting a buffet, that's full of lots of great food to choose from this probably is not the place for you. read more

Heard a rumor Dino's was serving up some Indian Cuisine and just had to come find out for ourselves. This place is nice, clean and fresh inside. Seems mostly or entirely newly renovated since the switch, and has a lovely looking bar (can't remember if there were any seats though) which mostly serves beer from what I understand. They originally started as a buffet, however have since transitioned to a sit down style restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the Chefs greeted us upon entering. We started with the Vegetable Pakoras and Chutney for an app. Fresh chopped vegetables fried to perfection in a deliciously seasoned and golden orange batter, served with a flavorful and mildly spicy Chutney dipping sauce. Seriously the seasoning on these were amazing and the sauce was killer, not too greasy of a fry either. Going back for samosas next. We were then each served a decently sized salad, with cobb style toppings: cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, bacon, cheese, and my mom's had egg in it, however mine did not-- with your choice of 3 or 4 dressings. Got a Mango Lassi and asked for an extra cup to split. It was cold, creamy, a nice treat and not too sweet. Much less sweet than others which my Mom really enjoyed. Went for our classic favs at any Indian place, mine Chicken Tikka Masala and hers Butter Chicken. Though we each tried a bit of both. Everything was served in the same, massive bowls, so this was a huge portion and as you can see they are full nearly to the brim! Each entree also came with Basmati rice in the same hefty bowl. The Chicken Tikka Masala was packed with large, tender and quality pieces of chicken, and I noticed many thinly sliced caramelized onions in both dishes. The sauce was rich, flavorful and very creamy. This Tikka Masala was a little creamier than I am used to, so this wasn't quite as bright and tomato forward as I remember most Tikkas i've tried, though it has been a while. Even so, this is still slightly brighter of a dish than the Butter Chicken, which is a bit sweeter, and classically very buttery, rich, and creamy. The Butter Chicken was equally as packed with chicken, and also had thinly sliced onions. Though each sauce is so rich, thick and creamy it's hard to tell if much else was in there besides a ton of delicious spices and love. I truly enjoyed both, but I think this time may have even swayed my favorite towards the Butter Chicken. Ordered 2 orders of Naan which came with 2 pieces each, slightly smaller than most Naans but just as tasty nonetheless-- and pairs perfectly with the dishes as always. All of this to say, we barely got two small portions of rice topped with each and a bit of Naan in before we were stuffed, unable to finish all of our salads, or Pakoras, and took them to go along with each of our whole full and barely dented bowls of these wonderful classic Indian meat curries. Our fridge is full with food for at least 2 more meals each for us both, and I am so excited to try it again for lunch tomorrow at home. Giving a 5 star review despite the small inconsistency of no egg in my free complimentary salad, and personally preferring a slightly less creamy and instead brighter, more tomato-y Chicken Tikka Masala because really, this place is great. Especially for Granbury-- and this place along with others like it are and would be great FOR Granbury, as in I am so happy to have this quality food available, and to finally see some more diverse cuisines coming to Granbury, amongst the repetitive monotonous saturation of endless American and Mexican food. Went to lunch today with my son and there was only one other table that was occupied in the restaurant. That's a shame because the food was great. He had the butter chicken and I had the chicken biryani and the garlic naan bread. It was fantastic. Service was great. they have a really nice Bar set up and the food is excellent so I think everybody should go out and try it for themselves. read more

There were a good amount of people. It's cafeteria style. You're served one choice of meat by the staff and the sides are self serve. You pay up front then proceed through the line: Salad, your choice of meat, soup (today chicken tortilla) then sides, rolls, and lastly desserts. *The sign says to grab as much as you want the first go around then if you want seconds on sides and drink refills you ask the staff walking around. That way you're not cutting back in line in front of incoming customers. The salad was fresh and crisp. The potato salad was good. Today the meat options were meatloaf with a hint of sweet bbq sauce like brown glaze (delicious!), fried catfish (nice large portion was really good with a balanced ratio of meat to light cornmeal breading, grilled chicken (looked appetizing) and brisket (they were still cooking). The chicken tortilla soup was flavorful with nice pieces of chicken. The sides are a nice variety for those who want fried high carb options (mashed potatoes (needed salt) and white or brown gravy, fried okra (great), french fries, mini corn dog nuggets, (they were still cooking the mac) or healthy options (mixed veggies, peas, tomato and zucchini (hubby liked it a lot and he normally doesn't like zucchini), lima beans, black eyed peas, etc). Both desserts were very delicious! The apple cobbler had a nice crust and banana pudding had banana slices. Both were sooo good my husband got seconds. They said no brownies today but food is rotated out. Staff will bus your table and give you drink and sides refills. They were attentive and friendly. I really, really wish they would add Chicken fried steak to their meat options. Other than the mashed potatoes lacking salt (I think it was overlooked) we had no complaints. Pros: Relatively clean, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and courteous. Cons: Upon entering the joint, it reminded me immediately of Luby's buffet in the 1980s. Though unlike Luby's, this place doesn't have very much to choose from. The smell was a little strange when coming in the door, kind of like a bait shop. The food was lackluster at best, and reminded me of something between microwave dinners, and school cafeteria food. I had a stuffed pepper, which wasn't terrible but bland. I also had the pork chop, which remained half eaten at the end because it was really dry and practically inedible. The salad was okay, and the chicken tenders were dry, the fried okra and squash were okay, just basic. If you're hungry, and you only have very basic standards you may enjoy this place as it is right now, but I did not and I will not go back unless they did overall of the food and added a little flavor. Very disappointing. The food is fresh and unseasoned directly out of a can. They will never make it in a town of mediocrity restaurants.

The price is great, you can get 2 meats with unlimited sides, salad and desert for only $14.99. The food was DELICIOUS, it tastes home cooked!! The customer service was wonderful. We were greeted with smiles and the staff would check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place and I will for sure be a repeat customer!! read more

The misrepresentation of claiming to be a buffet when it isn't might be able to be overlooked if the food was decent. But, the food is pathetic with no flavor or taste and so bad, it is inedible!!! The limited choices of meats are selected by employee and the customer is only allowed 2 meats. Since when is a Buffet choices limited by the employee? There is not much choice of vegetables, but again are not only limited but taste so bad they are inedible! I have never had such horrible food! But, again, this place claims to be a Buffet when actually it is more like a cafeteria! I had been watching this place to open in hopes to have a new and good restaurant, but I was mistaken! They need to look up the definition of a Buffet and take cooking classes on what should be decent food! I will never eat at this place again as well as spread the word against this place!
