Please never buy this companys furniture. My husband and I bought our first brand new set ever of living room furniture in February 2019. After 3 different deliveries, and each time the pieces arrived more damaged, we finally received a set in April/ May 2019. We had terrible customer service in store. When we made the purchase, we were sold a warranty being told it covered everything for 5 years. This is not true! In April 2020, I filed a claim with AHS. They refused to help us. My furniture is broken in many spots in the frame, seams ripped, and edges caved in. Many of cushions are deflated. I contacted Ashley for help, they told me that I would need to contact my warranty company. The warranty company refused my claim saying it was up to Ashley to fix. ASHLEY wanted to charge me to have someone come and look at the defects, then charge me for labor. They claim it over 1 year past manufacturer warranty, mind you, I ordered in February 2019, and not receive till April/May 2019. They need to honor their warranty from the final delivery date and not pay date. Recently we were contacted by the escalation team who said a tech would come out complimentary. I received a call today and once was told again, not their problem, go to warranty company and vice versa. This company is full of crap. I need a resolution. My furniture is non usable. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would! My girlfriend and I were stalked through out the store. After deciding on a sectional, the sales staff made me wait an hour and a half before confirming it was even in stock. When I picked it up from the warehouse, they tried to load my truck with damaged furniture. The stocker ran furniture into a filing cabinet in front of me and another customer. I will not purchase from Ashley Furniture again. read more

After searching different furniture stores in Austin for the couch and loveseat we wanted we decided on a set at Ashley Furniture. The salesman was very nice and, since we were paying the full amount in one payment, the sale went smoothly. I wish I could say as much for the delivery. We paid a pretty good chunk of money to have the furniture delivered and were told that delivery would be in two weeks. The loveseat was delivered but we were told the couch had come in damaged and been sent back, so it would be another two weeks before we could get the couch. After the two weeks were up we were told that we would have to wait another week. When we finally got the call that the couch was in and could be delivered we discovered that they would only deliver to our area on Wednesday and it was at their convenience, not ours. If a particular time of day was not convenient for us then we would simply have to wait until the following Wednesday. We rearranged our schedule to accommodate the delivery people and the couch was delivered as promised. However, as it was unloaded from the truck, it fell off the dolly onto the driveway. The delivery guy said they inspected it for damage and there was none; he was correct that there was no visible damage, but the mechanism that controls the built-in recliner on the couch was bent and would not work correctly. We called the company and explained the problem and were told that they would send a repairman out on Saturday, so we arranged to be home that day. However, we never received a call telling us what time the repairman would be here, so we called the store and were told that it would be the following Saturday instead. We are still waiting! This is by far the worst customer service that we have ever experienced, and we have been made to feel like once Ashley Furniture has your money you are not even on their radar. This was our first purchase from Ashley Furniture and absolutely our last. Unless you can make your purchase and carry it out of the store yourself you may find yourself waiting for months to receive it, so just know that going in so you won't be as unprepared as we were. read more

We purchased a mattress from Ashley's and we were told by the sales rep that if we were unhappy they would exchange it for something else. Well all I can say is buyer beware! Ashley furniture (82nd in Portland, OR) has such horribly deceiving policies just to ensure a sale. I purchased over $12,000 in furniture and items weren't delivered on time. When we tried to cancel and return an undelivered portion they refused. They stated that you have to cxl your order within 48 hrs of purchase to get a refund (even though it can take them weeks to deliver), even though they didn't deliver on time (they actually defaulted on their promise...but I am to be held to the fine print). I told them I still had 3 rooms to furnish...about $30,000 more to spend...didn't matter! They simply refused to refund 1 stupid chair that they hadn't even delivered yet. I am held hostage by their policies...so frustrating!! Do believe I will be taking my business elsewhere!" They simply do not care about their customers! Buy at your own risk! read more

We are having one of the worst retail shopping experiences that is possible!!!! We purchased a sofa with matching loveseat. We were told delivery would be June 16th. We never received a confirming phone call so we called them to confirm. They said at that time delivery was pushed to June 19th. We never got a promised confirmation on the 17th. No call received, we called them back and they informed us we would get the loveseat only, on July 2nd and the couch one week later. We did get the loveseat, but no conformation on the sofa. We called them again and were told the sofa would be delivered July 28th. We never had any call from Ashley to confirm delivery, as promised. We have called them again and they now inform us that delivery of the sofa will be August 11th. Every time we call them back they promise to call us back and confirm, we have never received a call. Each time we call we are on hold for at least 30 minutes before someone picks up. Ashley refuses to cancel the order. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. Their customer service is the worst ever. The salesman lied to us on availability just to make a sale. Their promises mean nothing. They have proven to us that they are LIARS and CHEATS Never again will we shop at Ashley. They do not value the customers at all . read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've learned that the delivery people are instructed to call the customer upon arriving to their home to let them know they are there, and leave after 20 minutes if the customer doesn't show up. After the delivery guy showed up 45 MINUTES early, he called to let me know I had 20 minutes before he left. I rushed home from work and let him know over the phone that it would take me about 20 minutes but I was on my way and would be there ASAP. Despite our conversation only minutes prior, the delivery guy LEFT seconds before I pulled into my driveway without even a courtesy call to see how far away I was. I immediately called him back on the number he had just called me from to let him know I was home and he never answered. I then called the corporate office to have them get ahold of him and they were AWFUL. Their lack of customer service was DISGUSTING. Each person I spoke to was rude and couldn't have cared less about me and my situation. Finally I spoke to a manager who was the worst of all of them. I will never, ever use Ashley Furniture again. I urge you to NOT encourage this behavior any longer. read more

I was very pleased with the service I received at Ashley Furniture Store in Springfield, Mo. The sales person was very knowledge and the soft and recliner came in excellent condition. I am very disappointed in the customer service from Ashley furniture. The people at the store were great but when the furniture was delivered everything changed. First, they didn't cover the doors with a cover or something. Second, when they came inside they kicked the door to open it and it it the wall. Last, when they took the piece of furniture in the room they took off all the fresh paint off around the door. We literally just had the entire house painted about a 3 weeks ago. The gentlemen said sign here, which stated there were no damages. I refused and he (Carlos) attitude changed. He was very rude. He stated now I have to pay for this. American Signature delivered furniture to our house the same day but they put a protected cover around the door and handles to make sure they would not mess anything up. It has been 3 days now and no one has contacted us about the damages. read more

This is the first time I had purchased from Ashley HomeStore. This is also the first time I've felt compelled to write a review. I'm still in the middle of my pain as they are struggling to finish my order. I've had 2 delivers at this point of what was supposed too be 2 delivers, however the lack of attention to detail and any level of quality had been missing so now I'm waiting on 2 packages in the mail and my last 2 items to complete my living room. There is more to this story and the number of times I was on the phone with the store and customer care explaining my issues, I can't explain it again.. The support model isn't correct, however it seems to work for them. You go through a vicious circle as you work to get resolution the care center tells you the store needs to assist you and when you're speaking with the store they tell you only care center can help, so you get tired of being transferred and hang up. After all I've been through and the amount of money I spent, I received a call from my sales rep "Eric" and he said we have everything corrected and here is the kicker. He said I can wait another 2 weeks for the delivery once I pay an additional 150.00 for their mistake. I told them I wasn't happy paying the money and why couldn't they write that amount off for all the pain I've been through. His answer was I have no authority to do that, however call the care center and tell them what happened and they would probably credit that money and then we can get the order in for the correction. At this point I'm deciding to return all the furniture back and will need to find another store.. I really am very displeased with my experience too the point of writing this review. To also add to this, I need to contact the store again as they haven't called to correct the last piece of my order and they have all my money from the purchase. Don't use them and if you decided this wasn't enough to not use them, don't use Eric as your sales rep at the I35 Austin store. Good luck. read more

On 2/18/18 we ordered a queen size headboard/footboard, rails, queen size mattress and dresser/mirror online which was requested to be delivered 3/17/18. I called 3/12/18 to confirm delivery and was told someone would call in 2 days. When we received the call we were told that the mattress is backordered and would not be delivered until 3/24/18. We were going to our FL home and only going to be there for the week of 3/16-3/25. Called corporate to see if there could be a similar mattress to replace the backordered one and was told this could not be done. Also asked why we were just told that it was backordered and she stated that they should have informed us before today. So we will get to sleep on the floor for the week. Ashley Furniture could care less. Never will we purchase anything from them again! read more

I have come to appreciate a quality furniture. We have multiple houses and use furniture from Ashley, Hanes, Havertys and Green Front. The phrase "you get what you pay for", is definitely true. I have had issues with Ashley and Hanes furniture after light usage, and have had great experience with Havertys and Green Front's furniture. The quality of Ashley furniture is subpar to those of Haverty's. Just take a walk around the store and open / shut chest or vanities and you will find some in bad working condition and per sales person this is because many open and shut the drawers. If that is not the best test, I don't know what would be. Hanes is almost the same and quality control is not that great. For longevity, I use Haverty's and Green Front. For inexpensive quick fix I have used Ashley and Hanes... but always regret it after some use. Also, I would take extended warranty into consideration. read more

5 stars because of Tony Lowe in Houston, Texas (Store #275). After the delivery men improperly assembled our bed, our salesman Tony Lowe returned in the evening to replace stripped screws and re-assemble our bed, so that he left his customers delighted with Ashley Furniture. You seldom see that level of customer service anywhere. The poor assembly was not his fault or his problem, but he wanted to make things right. He also helped us get a great deal on a bedroom suit and mattress. read more

Frustrated with this company and store. We made a large purchase for a dining set and additional bar stools. I still don't have it. We were told when we purchased, the latest our items should be delivered was sept 27 2020(4 weeks). We had to sit on the phone for hours earlier this week just to find if a delivery was scheduled because no one had called us after 3 weeks. We finally get someone on the phone (because contradictory to their automated system, the obline chat options do not provide the info and they tell you to call) and we were told the 23rd, and someone would call with a delivery time the morning of. Great! So we are believing it is the 23rd of this month. Call again today after waiting, nope, 23rd of NEXT month. No thanks ashley, you should disclose unreasonably long delivery times so we can opt to not purchase IN STORE. No attempt to reduce delivery fee, offer an earlier delivery of at least bar stools we can sit on, nothing. I will be working for a refund now due to non-disclosure of pertinent information that should be provided prior to purchase. Never purchasing from you again. read more

This is my first review on yelp, if that gives you a little insight into how frustrating this whole ordeal has been. I ordered a sofa on 02/09/18. I received a call for a delivery notice for the following Monday and was excited as I thought it would take much longer, however there was no time left. Come the day before the delivery I receive another phone call informing me that it will be delivered between 5-8 Pm. I was scheduled for work and would be unable to be there. I called in the morning to reschedule. Because I work in the service industry and work just about every night of the week, I asked if I could get a morning delivery. I even was flexible about the day, just needs to be early. I was told that they cannot make time requests. I was also told by this rep "why don't I just wait until I have a day off to get the delivery" even after I told her that I will work everyday for the next two weeks. The whole time talking to this rep it felt like I was a nuisance to her, she continued to talk down to me, and treat me like a bother. After finally getting her to at least reschedule with a note requesting for an earlier time we agreed on the next Wednesday. Tuesday rolls around I get a call that the time they are going to deliver is 3-6 Pm. I won't be able to make it. I call and reschedule, this time its Friday. On Thursday I get a call saying it'll be between 12-3 Pm. I talk to my boss and get him to agree to let me come in a little late so that I can make this delivery. Friday come around and I get a call saying that they running late and that, they won't arrive until after 7pm. So I have to reschedule..... Again! Same story, I receive a call the day before, and hallelujah!! it's between 10am-1pm! I'll be available this time. The day of the delivery get here, and I'm patiently waiting until after 12pm when I get a call from the driver again saying "the loaders filled the truck wrong and my couch is at the back". They wont be here until 3-4pm.... What!?!? I beg a friend of mine to wait at my house until the driver shows up, because at this point, I just really want my couch that I purchased. The driver tells me to call or text him if I can have someone there and that he'll call me before he gets to my apartment. Well, my friend waited at my apartment until after 7 pm. No call, no text, nothing from the diver... They just sent me another call giving me another time I can't make. At this rate it seems I'll never receive the couch I paid for. I can say without a doubt that this is the worst, and most embarrassing experience I've had as a customer. And I can say that I will never be doing business with this company again. read more

Be weary of the delivery service. I was automatically scheduled for a specific date and was told I would not have a timeframe for delivery until 48 hours before the delivery day. I called two days before delivery and was given a timeframe of 9-12. At 11:45 on delivery day I had not heard anything. I called and they told me I had been re-routed the day before. My new delivery time was 4:00-7:00. Seriously?! You don't even have the decency to call. I asked for a supervisor and was hung up on. I called back and they said they projected they would be at my house between 3:45-4:00. At 4:52 I call back, I was rerouted again and still no one bothered to call! I can't believe the horrible customer service here. I work in the medical field and my mom took off in the MORNING to be there for delivery. I love Ashley furniture but this was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had and I did not appreciate being treated as if my time was not important! read more

Horrendous delivery. Purchased mattresses, sofa and love seat and was told that part of the order would be delivered the following weekend. The day before the scheduled deluvery I called to confirm and was told that it would be the following weekend. My husband and I changed plans so that he could be home (again). Come that Saturday (one and a half hours late) the only thing in the truck is the bed set, no living room. After a drive over to the store and talking to an assistant manager I am told that he would look into it and get bsck with the next week. (Nick) No call was received so I called back and was told that one seat would be delivered the next weekend and the sofa still another week. If I would have known that this was going to be such an inconvenience, I would have taken my business elsewhere. So here we are, still waiting on a delivery (still late). I am very unsatisfied with the whole process. Just be upfront with your customers. Now don't get me startedbin the Durablend trash that we ordered from them that flaked away in front of our eyes. I'm still waiting on my claim. read more

Ashley Store - Nice. Loveseat delivered..with a hole. No good. Here goes another call to Customer Service. - Furniture Stores Near Me - Austin, Texas

Addy was which a great help. Could not be more pleased. I hope she wins so she does not have to stand outside.

We bought a couch from Ashley. The couch started pilling and threads became loose within just a few months. We called customer service to complain and we were told that this is normal "wear and tear". I understand that pilling occurs over time, but not only a few months after purchase. This is indicative of poor quality. We wont buy from here again. read more

Horrible service. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. They promised when I purchased the living and dining room set that it would arrive within a month. Now my delivery date has been pushed back 4 times and is now scheduled 4 months from the time of purchase. Purchased early June and delivery will be sometime in October?? I was also promised by their manager "David" who said to just text him to follow up on delivery dates but he hardly responded. And reaching their customer service dept takes over 2 hours until you reach a real live person. And when I finally got 2 pieces from my order, the bench came with a tear and had to be exchanged. They also promise a delivery time but that doesn't matter and if they get there outside their delivery window they won't hesitate to leave and not drop off your furniture if you don't answer immediately even though they gave a window of their expected delivery. And trying to cancel your order after it has been pushed back 4 months, they still charge you a restocking fee. Restocking what exactly? The sofa hasn't even been made. Absolutely horrible. Never buying anything there. It is also impossible to reach anyone in the store. I have had to drive up there twice just to speak with someone to follow up since there is zero communication with their customers on where they are with your furniture delivery. This was my first and my last time dealing with them. Waste of my time and lost money in the end.i have had to make work adjustments and have had to affect other people's schedules because of the expected delivery of these items which ended up not being delivered on those dates as expected. They are unreliable. read more

A year and a half ago we made a huge move from CA to TX. We decided it was time for new furniture so we bought everything new from Ashley Furniture. The sales people were fine. It is the quality of the furniture that I have a problem with. Ashley has 3 levels of furniture. We bought everything from their "Signature Series" and spent close to $20,000. The couch we bought has already needed to be replaced. All of the stuffing bunched up and the material which was supposed to be stain treated but wasn't, looked as if it was 20 years old instead of 1 1/2 yrs old! Three of the dining room chairs have broken. We hardly ever eat in the dining room so the set has been used approx. 5 times. My 13 year old daughter sat down on Christmas morning and the leg split right down the middle causing her to fall. I did get the insurance on everything so they are replacing the chairs but the set I bought has been discontinued so I had to pick out 6 chairs that don't even match (I have the matching hutch too) the set anymore. I argued that they should replace the entire set since nothing matches but of course they wouldn't. My living room tables are wood and glass. The wood around the glass is chipping everywhere and looks awful. The kitchen table has scratches all over it from the dinner plates causing it too look ugly and scarred. I called the insurance company that Ashley uses because the warranty is supposed to cover scratches. The guy came out but told me they were just surface scratches and not "deep enough" to fix! I feel like taking a knife and scratching the table so they will fix it. Now I keep a tablecloth on the table to cover the ugly scratches. I bought a mantle clock but didn't feel as if I needed the warranty, WRONG! The clock stopped working within 1 week but since I have no warranty they won't take it back. I could go on about the other pieces we have that are falling apart but you get my drift. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! The quality is poor and the warranty sucks!! Everything you buy will fall apart! read more

I purchased 2 Beds and a King Size mattress set . We ordered the the week before Thanksgiving. I have still not received my products. We received a confirmation email that our products would be delivered on Dec. 21. Because we work, we called and rescheduled the delivery for Dec 23, in which they said would be no problem. I was just happy that my daughter's Christmas present would be here by Christmas. I missed my family Christmas on the 23rd waiting on the delivery (which was our choice). We moved furniture out of 2 rooms for easy delivery. My house was upside down. By 4 o'clock we had not heard one word. We tried to call 3 different times that day and received voicemail as if the phone was turned off. Finally, we were able to speak with a representative which then advised us that the products were not even in the warehouse, let alone on this delivery. I wasted an entire day waiting on these people!! I was given the managers name and number. I spoke with him and he stated he would "get compensation for my troubles as well as get a special delivery truck for us as soon as possible". He was supposed to call me back and let me know for sure when. Never heard a thing. When I finally called (because I was trying to be patient) a week later, he stated that all the pieces would be there on the 1st except 1 and that it "should be there by the 8th". Are you kidding me?! My daughter and myself have had our mattresses on the floor since the 23rd!! Not only was my daughter disappointed by this company on Christmas, but now it's like they could care less that they LIED about our delivery or the inconvenience they have put us through. We ordered on Nov 18th, spent $2000.00, and have received the WORST customer service without even ONE item that they CHARGED us for on Dec 23, the "day of delivery". If you are a consumer that works hard for your money and wishes to not be LIED to and deceived, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! I have 3 more rooms that I am currently re-furnishing. I will not even purchase a pillow from these crooks!! read more

Ashley's is awful. I ordered bedroom furniture over a month ago. First off, let's talk about their delivery service. I had the perfect time and date set for my delivery. School had not started so I was available. The time came to have my furniture delivered and I got a call 2 hours before the delivery: "We don't have all the parts to your furniture. It appears some things are back ordered. We won't have anything until a month from now." A MONTH!?I had already waited 2 weeks on the delivery and now I have to wait another month. I have been trying to reschedule my new delivery date for one week now. Every time they get the date correct, they can only delivery to me during a time I will not be home. I have had to call and reschedule my time 4 times now. You have no freedom to choose a timeframe, they do it all with a regulated system. SO OVER ASHLEY'S FURNITURE, I JUST WANT THE THINGS I PAID FOR (over 2 months ago). read more

Worst customer service experience ever. Had to wait 6 weeks for a delivery. Then the day it was supposed to show up, we had to call (they didn't call us) them at 8p on a Saturday to find out "the truck broke down" and they may be (may be mind you) able to get to us on Wednesday. Then the next day at 5p a delivery guy calls to ask if customer care had called about us getting delivery that day. In between we had spoken to our salesperson at the store, 2 or 3 different customer care people and a few other people. No one had a clue - or they were just lying to us. We just canceled the order and decided to go to a different place that was able to deliver what we wanted in two days. read more

Possibly worst buying experience! After waiting 2 weeks for delivery bought 2 bedroom sets and literally everything is damaged except one night stand out of everything I bought. Seems like I bought used furniture. Screws were stickIng completely through the headboard, footboard looked as if it got pushed and dragged around on its edges completely scraped. Had to reject those and return them back. One drawer on the dresser is damaged and looks as they tried fixing it and didn't do a great job. Head board on other bed looks as if it was dropped on its corners and the laminate is peeling up and the mdf is compressed in. Laminate from Drawer on other dresser is literally peeling and flaking away and just found a chunk missing out of one of the drawers on the chest. The more we put clothes away and organize stuff the more and more damage we are finding. Now I gotta wait another week to have their tech come and do their little inspection and tell me that it needs to be replaced when it obvious. If you want expensive SWAPMEET furniture Ashely's the place. read more

I am truly disappointed in Ashley's customer service or should I say, lack there of. I purchased a bookshelf and desk online. The bookshelf was dropped off when I was not at home and has a broken door. I have been trying to return the item since the day it was left at my home. I left 6 voice mails after waiting on hold for over 15 minutes on each occasion, never to received a return call. In between calls, I left message with the online customer care system, only to get no response. When the desk was delivered weeks later, it was brought to my home by a gentleman in his personal vehicle. He was alone and told my husband "I can't handle this thing by myself". My husband helped him get it off the back of his truck and when we opened the box, the corner of the desk was damaged, was probably dropped during that bootleg shipping. I was finally able to connect with an agent through a chat who said I would have to pay to ship the desk back and it was probably too late because it had been more than 72 hours for it and the bookshelf. So, I am stuck with the purchase and have throw away over $700. I am very disappointed with the "buy at your own risk" policy for online purchases. Will not make the mistake of making another purchase from Ashley HomeStore and would not recommend. I could have gone with a far less expensive bookshelf and desk but thought I was purchasing a better quality product. Instead, the company delayed communication until it was too late to return the merchandise. Fooled me once, but never again. read more

Delivery service is absolutely horrible. Have been rescheduled last minute 2 times, brought one or1 two items a day when it was supposed to take two trips... this has been ongoing for the past 2 months. Wasted 6 days, by that I mean situations like being told they will be here 7-2:30 and at 12:45 being told they had to switch it to 2:00-10. Also they delivered badly damaged furniture twice trying to hide it with tape. Then put a dent in the wall of my new house. read more

First off, the mattress salesman, Mark S., and the front desk ladies, Dominique and Isabel were absolutely great. They all were helpful with some issues I had in applying my mattress warranty to my new purchase;they deserve 5 stars. The delivery has been a nightmare. The original delivery date was supposed to be 12/30, but due to some slow down with the warranty people, that had to be rescheduled - to a time that we had told them would not work for us. When calling the delivery number, I was put on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. I opted for the call back service, I never received a call back. This happened to me twice, totally unacceptable. The delivery was rescheduled again for today between 11:30-2:30, we received a text at 2:30 that delivery would be in 30 minutes - okay, that happens. The mattress arrived ripped!! Customer service called right away and asked if I was refusing delivery, well duh. They would have to reschedule, but have no idea when that will be, uh, no, not okay. I asked to speak with a manager, Harley, who seemed to be reading a script. They can't tell until Monday when the new delivery might happen. I told them I need it to be after 5pm, can they at least note that. Script manager said the deliveries are generated by, yada, yada, yada. I purchased this almost a month ago and have yet to receive it. I may suggest inspecting the merchandise for damage before delivery and having managers that can make decisions. I would give the delivery service negative stars if I could. read more

I recently purchased a bedroom set and living room furniture from Ashley. The salesperson was great. But from the closing of the deal it has been a terrible experience. The delivery guys scratched up my wall and the living room sofa upon initial delivery. It was still ok. Agreed to keep scratched sofa until delivery of new after discussing with the delivery guys. Second delivery set up on a Friday from 6-9pm. Delivery was running late and after finally arriving at 9:45pm and discussing what the problem was with the first delivery, they inspected the 2nd sofa prior to moving everything and told me it too was damaged. Never heard a word back from Ashley for follow up to additional delivery and was also still waiting on call-back for wall repair. Ended up going into the store in person, filed a complaint and was offered $100 loyalty card! Really?? Not even an offer to waive delivery fee as I demanded, but they finally agreed to 1/2 which came out to $107! Told them to cancel delivery of new sofa and they can pick up sofa and remove from my account. "Sorry. You have 7 days to cancel if you accept the furniture." This has been the worst customer service I have ever had! Really regret dropping $6000 with them. Never again!! Super glad that I got compensated that 107! NOT!!! read more

Spent over $3,000 on a bedroom set 3 months ago. The got a king size bed. It squeaked from the start. And now the support in the middle just cracked in half. Turns out, not only is the quality poor, but the guys just throw it together as fast as possible and run out the door. I only weigh 165 lbs. I wish I would've paid a little more somewhere else for a quality product. read more

Wish I could leave 0 starts. I swore I would never shop here again after a nightmare experience a few years back. Despite that, I wanted a dresser to match one of my bedroom sets so badly, that I decided to give Ashley another chance. I arrived on Saturday morning to take advantage of their "super beat the clock sale." Sales persons were fantastic. Super helpful and very nice (this is how Ashley ropes you in). They happily started a ticket for me for the dresser that I wanted and informed me their cost was $571.00 + Shipping. My jaw dropped!! I told them there must be a mistake because the same piece of furniture is available on the Ashley website for $189.00 + free shipping. They're response was the the website is "separate from the store." I'm not sure what kind of overcharge scam these people are running, but I refuse to fall victim to it. Ashley will greet you and take your money and you will feel happy and excited when leaving the store. Then it will all go downhill. They will not provide any level of positive consumer assistance when shipping, delivery and installation issues occur. Apparently, just like the website is separate from the store, so are all other issues that occur once your transaction has been completed! read more

I have purchased furniture before so thought I would try again to buy a dresser for my daughters new apartment in Tampa. I received a good deal for the dresser on Jan 1, 2019, however the dresser didn't come until Jan. 18. They delivered after 10 min text (they said at least 30 min. Window) & they brought the dresser WITHOUT THE KNOBS to open all the drawers! They said they would bring back within 24 hours and did no such thing...I call in 24 hours and customer service says they are shipping out & it will take another possible 7-10 days! Why would the bring a dresser to my daughters without knobs to open the drawers (impossible without them)! Of course I never received email of apology of letting me know and I had to call them! The rep was rude and said there is no discount or nothing she could do...They will no longer get my business for the remaining furniture she still needs for her place & I will tell everyone how poorly this was handled. Not worth the discount I received for the dresser to begin with. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I had a horrifying experience with the Ashley's in Melbourne Fl. We purchased a bedroom set and they delivered the wrong bed rails. Ok - no problem right, but when they delivered the right bed rails finally it was discovered that the wrong head board pieces were delivered and they could not setup our bed. Several attempts and calls later it finally got resolved. During this process I had asked to return the set and also to talk to a manager. Neither happened nor was any kind of service recovery offered. We were Ashley customers in the past but no more... read more
