Simply amazing. I've been going to Ashby Flowers since I was a kid and they were a natural first choice for my wedding. Marcy and her team perfectly executed the all white gatsby theme I wanted, complete with feathers. As a bonus they threw in pinned white flowers for my ladies to put in their hair when my budget ran thin and couldn't afford the hair clips I'd planned on. The flowers were fresh and lovely, and helped create memories I'll cherish forever. I'd give more stars if I could. Amazing!!! Oh and delivery was on time and easy. I'll never forget the moment of opening the box in my hotel room and seeing my wedding bouquet for the first time. Also, I needed tea lights, which Marcy bought for me and delivered to my venue with the wicks up for easy lighting. Simply the best. Please contact Ashby Flowers for all flower needs. I know I will!!! read more

I was wondering what to get my girlfriend for our one year dating anniversary and was looking for a place in Berkeley. I called these guys up an hour before I arrived and they really put together an amazing bouquet in a vase. Everything color matched and the assortment was really impressive. I like how they are sweet and friendly Berkeleyesque people...and now I have a friend in the flower business! Well sorta, they're friendly...woot. I can't report much on the value because I never buy flowers, like once a year. read more

Wow I must Ashby Flowers has amazing service. I was thrilled with my purchase. They were very informative, friendly, patient, and super efficient. My mom loved her flowers. I called in about a few days before I needed 44 long stem pink roses for my moms birthday. The ladies at Ashby flowers got me taken care of an created an amazing bouquet with greens. Between Marin county and the Bay Area they were by far the most affordable. This was money well spent. I was beyond happy with my purchase. read more

Ashby Flowers - Love these flowers. I will definitely be back. - Florists Near Me - Berkeley, California

This is my go-to florist, and has been for about eight years now. Unparalleled service, value and quality. This place will make Valentine's, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. as easy as it gets. I've gotten bouquets from $50 to $80 over the years and they have never failed to impress either me or my fiance. The only thing to be wary of, beware parking at the Whole Foods, it's almost a gauntlet to get over to the corner where Ashby Florist is. read more

Ashby Flowers did a phenomenal job for our Annual Symposium that I coordinated in August. They were not only helpful but they helped in making sure I stayed w/in our budget. Beautiful flowers and the staff are all very helpful. Highly recommended. Love their Instagram page as well.

Ordered a bouquet for my boss yesterday for delivery today. I called today to ask about what time it was going to be delivered and all I got to say was, "I ordered some flowers online yesterday" The rude ass person that answered the phone says yes yes it's coming it will be there soon. Very very rude. I will never order from this place ever again and I will be sure to tell all of my friends and family that work at Alta Bates and offices in the area to not order from this awful place. If you are too dam busy don't answer the phone and be rude to customers. You all must be under new management because years ago we would get awesome service but you guys have gone sown the shitter. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this small flower shop and its friendly owners and staff. I had two losses in my family within six months. Marcy and Iraj were extremely warm and sweet, showing such care and tenderness when I was grieving. They made beautiful standing flower arrangements and small center pieces on a short notice and at a very reasonable price. I could not have been able to get anything with that quality anywhere in the bay area for the low price that they charged me. Thank you, Iraj and Marcy. I hope to come back for happier occasions next time. read more

Marcy, loved the food/flowers you delivered to my twin! Also the chocolate egg! You prices are a bit steep but I really wanted to get something nice to her and you not only delivered the next day but asked if I wanted it to go out THAT same day. That was nice and I thank you. read more

I had a wedding in July and Marcy was amazing to work with! She made great suggestions and really had an elegant feel to our flowers. One of the flowers I wanted were not in season at the time, but she made a beautiful suggestion of what to substitute them with to give a similar effect. She even found a couple of the "out of season" flowers, and added them to just mine and my maid of honors bouquets! Thank you so much Marcy! read more

My experience with Ashby flowers has been excellent! The arrangements are beautiful and the service is wonderful. I can recommend highly!

THE best florists EVAH!!! (I'm a Colonel in the Army, returning from multiple deployments, going home to my woman and family, finally) Ashby has never failed me and the arrangements for my girl are always so spot on. And nearly as pretty as she is. ;) I love you guys!!!!! Forever!!! read more

I bought a ivy plant here, she killed it. For one, it was expensive for such a little thing, two she sprayed this stupid marketing shit that makes it shiny and pretty and killed my plant. Such a waste of money for me especially since I am a college student and she NEVER ASKED me if she could spray it on. She went to the back and sprayed it, and I said what are you spraying on there? She said "it makes it shinny and pretty." End of story don't go here you can easily find other flower shops in Berkeley like I have found better than her and cheaper and have more flowers more variety, more leaves on the flower etc read more

I worked with Marcy at Ashby Flower Shop or my June wedding in Carmel Valley. Together we decided which of my favorite flowers would be best for my wedding based on the time of year. I told Marcy I wanted every table arrangement to look different and let her use her creative skills to design a romantic atmosphere. I was beyond shocked on my wedding day because it looked 10X more beautiful than I had even imagined. She is a true artist! My as well as my bridesmaids bouquets were so full and beyond gorgeous. I still am getting complements on our wedding flowers!! The price was also very reasonable as well. I HIGHLY recommend using Ashby Flower Shop!!! read more

It's a pleasure to work with Marcy and her team! Besides the quality of the arrangements, they will also re-create anything you ask them to do. Over and over again, Marcy has gone above and beyond the call of duty to deliver orders with very short notice. Not everyone can or is willing to do that for a client. Thank you for all that you do! read more

Nina is amazing. She made a beautiful "halo" or my daughter's graduation cap. Nce, helpful, reasonable and beautiful work!

I ws referred to Ashby Flowers by someone at the Flowermart in SF after mistakenly thinking some girlfriends could do my wedding bouquet and boutonnieres, etc... Iraj told me the flowers I wanted were easy to find and they could do a bouquet for$85 or so. I emailed him like we agreed and didn't hear back for over a week. I went in and Marcy told me that she had gotten my email but lost it in her emails. So we talked and I showed her the picture of what I wanted. She said that that flower would be very hard to find (after her husbnd said easy). I told her my colors and said I would trust her judgement to put something nice together. I told her all the pieces I would need. I said I wanted a medium sized bouquet. Several days later she emailed me with an estimate and the specific flowers she would use. I emailed back confirming and then stopped in a few days later to confirm and pay her. We changed the order a bit and the total cost was very reasonable. I agreed to pick everything up the night before the wedding. I arrived at about 5pm to pick up the arrangements. I was shocked to see that the birdal bouquet had my main color as an accent color instead. I let that go but asked about the roses- they were starting to turn black on the edges. She said, "Oh that's how they are. The color matches with your color" or some other nonsense. I then asked about the calla lillies for the boutonnieres that were turning yellow and brown! She said, "Oh, that's how they are at this time of year." I didn't want to be a bridezilla and thought maybe it's just me. I took it all home and tried standing in the mirror with the bouquet to see how it would look. I realized there was absolutely no order or balance to the arrnagement. It's like she grabbed the 3 kinds of flowers off the table in a bunch and just wrapped them up. Random flowers were sticking out in different directions. 2 calla lillies were together in one spot, one in another, one in another. My main color flower was hardly visible. The flower girl bouquet was the same. I was really upset and didn't know what to do. My fiance took it all back up to the store and told her it was unacceptable. The main thing was we wanted fresh flowers and an orderly bouquet. Instead of apologizing and trying to fix it, Marcy argued that it was okay and that that's how the flowers look at this time of year, etc. He told her no way so she agreed to redo them and have them ready by 11 the next day. Wedding was at 2 in SF. The end result was that the bouquet was beautiful and the boutonnieres were changed to a different flower. The calla lillies she used in the bouquet were fresh and white. The arrangements turned out well and were inexpensive. The customer service was lacking and I would suggest that if you use Ashby Flowers, you be very specific about what you want and immediately tell her if something doesn't work for you and don't take no for an answer. Makes me sad cause they are local and small business (and afforable) but overall not a a good-feeling experience. read more

I can't say enough amazing things about Ashby. They have provided florals for multiple parties for me throughout the years. Marcy always takes my vision, runs with it, and exceeds my expectations. She's just lovely - creative, prompt, and so so talented. She makes planning so easy & I know I can just give her the reigns and let her run with it. I never use anybody else.
