Amir is my new favorite person. Loved my experience from having an initial phone call, sharing some challenges I was having during the planning of my Grandma Crissie's memorial, and Amir came through. I pulled reference images and showed him, we spoke details over the phone and then I came by the shop to see him. Amir went BEYOND with how well he executed the vision and topped the reference images. I ordered two custom arrangements in advance and was able to drop off some vessels I had, since my vision was very specific. I cannot stress enough how happy seeing the arrangements made me. It brought me so much peace to know my Grandma's life and legacy could be celebrated in such a beautiful way. Amir's work was worth every penny, I feel like he exceeded the vision and expanded it with his own level of creativity and sense for beauty. This will be my go-to floral shop from now on. Amir was incredibly attentive to our needs and wishes as we needed flowers for a family funeral. He asked all of the right questions about where the flowers would be placed, color preferences, etc. and was able to deliver the flowers within our budget. Here are the pictures. You can all decide if my complaint has merit. I called flower shop, and talked to the owner who made the arrangement himself. He insisted that what he sent was even better than what I ordered. I don't think so. The only positive thing was these premium flowers were delivered on the date that I requested. UPDATE 1/16/2019 When I ordered, I requested the photo be sent to me of the arrangement that was delivered. Shop sent me email yesterday, and the picture included was the one in the catalog NOT the one delivered. read more

I had seen some of Amir's work because my former boss was one of his clients (I had the luck to get one of his giant arrangements after a holiday party!). I knew that she had excellent taste, so when we decided to get married (elope) in SF, I wanted him to make my bouquet. I was NOT disappointed! He did a great job listening to what I wanted, and looking at the pictures I had on my phone from Pinterest to give him a better idea what I meant. He even had me email him the pictures so that he would be sure to match my vision. Although it turns out that I have very expensive floral taste, I feel confident that the price I paid was fair, given the flowers I wanted and the time he had to put into constructing the arrangement. He said he spent 3 or 4 hours wiring teeny stephanopsis blooms and gardenias. I am so happy with how it all came out! Even though he warned me that the gardenias would be wilted by our reception the day following our ceremony (as flowers without stems are wont to do) they still looked really good - maybe 90% as good as they had the day before. Which was still really good! I clipped off a couple brown petals and they were good to go. After that, I was able to deconstruct the bouquet and enjoy the roses and freesias for the rest of the week! I highly recommend Amir for anyone who is *very* particular about their flowers! He will make you super glad you went to him! read more

I was in a tough spot when a national florist, Ava's Flowers, called me late in the day and said they couldn't deliver a promised 'Same day delivery' that I had ordered earlier that afternoon. I entered the address for my VIP on Google Earth and saw Solano Florist a few blocks away. I called and explained my situation. Not only did they calm me down, but they delivered an AMAZING arrangement to my VIP within a couple of hours. The VIP stated that it, "Made her year." Thank You! I would not use this florist again. My price range was $50 plus delivery for a bouquet of fresh cut glowrrs ($15 locally). The guy on the phone said $50 was the starting price. Felt a little price shamed by him...Granted that's not extravagant budget, but there was no vase involved and the brown craft paper was minimal. The arrangement was mostly Daisies and fillers with a few roses and no card was attached. $70 with tax. I think that should buy you a somewhat decent bouquet. I've seen better ready made bouquets at Costco! My friends randomly emailed to see if I sent them. read more

I like to bring little bouquets when I go to dinner or to visit people, and have come in, told them how much I'd like to spend and suggested some colors, and they've made lovely little arrangements. Never. Again. I've never had a florist screw up my order this much, then show not only no remorse, but simply ignore my call. They were birthday flowers, asked to be delivered on a specific day. Suddenly, 6 days before the event, the flowers arrived (the recipient was out of the office that day) for no apparent reason. AND my name was not on the card! Furious, I called the florist. The woman answering the phone had zero sympathy and zero emotion. She said "so what was the problem? It was delivered on the wrong day? O.K., someone will call you back." NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. I was very excited to get a flower arrangement from this shop they have many beautiful examples online so I picked one of the many they had I was extremely disappointed to see that the arrangement looks nothing like it's supposed to it does not look like anything I ordered on the website once it arrived it looked like it was missing certain flowers as well on the website you have the option to add certain details and I did and it looks like they were not applied. read more
