For my city hall wedding, I decided pretty last minute (two weeks ish) that I did, in fact, want a bouquet. My fiancé, at the time, went to ask in person about the pricing/size/etc and spoke to Wilton, who said the bouquet would be anywhere from $125-175. I went with him to finalize my bouquet and spoke to Sue. I showed her my inspiration photo and told her roughly how large I wanted it to be and she said she could get it done at $150. Unfortunately, many florists are not open on Sunday and my wedding was Monday morning in SF. I asked her if the bouquet would be okay if I picked it up on Saturday. She graciously offered to let me pick it up on Sunday, even though they weren't open, as an exception since it was for our wedding - which was extremely kind of her. The bouquet was beautiful, attached below, and she packaged it with water in a cardboard box so it made for easy transportation. Sunday morning - Monday morning of my wedding - no major issues. There was a rose or two that wilted slightly, but nothing major. Pricing was extremely reasonable, I was being quoted $250+ at other locations. Very grateful for her flexibility and kindness. My sister-in-law died. I am still recovering from surgery, unable to attend her or service/viewing. I could send flowers. The funeral home has a link to order flowers but I wanted to go to a small business knowing all of the money I paid was theirs. Lee's Florist. They were recommended to me by a florist who couldn't do a custom arrangement for me. When your peers recommend you, you must be good! My conversation was professional, informative, and helpful, He basically told me he would have to create my custom arrangement with his flowers on hand because there wasn't time to go to the flower market and meet my deadline. I was fine with that, Later I received an image of the beautiful arrangement for my sister-in-law. I also received an email confirming flowers were delivered on time to the funeral home. I could not be there in person to say goodbye with my family and her friends but at least I could make my presence with flowers, I appreciate Lee's Florist helping me when so needed help. They took care of what I needed remotely. Most of all, I appreciate the grace and care. They didn't have to help me. They could have said no like everyone else did because this was a tough ask. They helped me when I needed it. From my perspective it wasn't about the money - it was about helping me while I was grieving and in shock, feeling completely helpless in bed while recovering from surgery. I live in Maryland but wanted to send flowers to a close friend in Oakland on the anniversary of her mother's passing. There were a lot of fancier arrangements online, but the bundle of simple purple tulips stood out to me, mainly since purple is also my friend's favorite color. Since I didn't need a vase, they said they could add more flowers, which was also nice. Long story long, the tulips arrived (beautifully wrapped, I might add), and I later found out that her mom's favorite flower was tulips. My family has been going to Lee's Florist for YEARS... Naturally, when it came time to plan my wedding, Wilton and his team were the obvious choice. As per usual, the flowers were PERFECT. In working with Wilton before the wedding, I knew that I wanted white flowers with accents of green to match the bridesmaids dresses. I know nothing about flowers so it was extremely helpful when Wilton was able to take my vague idea (white with green...) and turn it into something beautiful. Sad to say, my opinion of Lee's has taken a nose dive this year, due to the rude attitude of a particular young man on staff these days. On Valentine's Day earlier this year, and just this week, this person acted as though I had interrupted him in the middle of his very busy day, and he was irritable and curt from the get go. This time I politely asked him if he wanted some feedback; he rolled his eyes, listened for a bit and then cut me short, saying "OK, g'bye. BYE! LEAVE!" I was masked the entire time, so it was nothing Covid-related. I had been a very happy customer of Lee's for at least 10 years, and everyone else in the family run business has been warm and friendly. I wrote to the senior owner to give him my feedback, and I haven't heard back. Their arrangements are still good quality, but it's not worth dealing with this one person's sour attitude. Really too bad, and I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on. (To respond to Jared's reply, my issue is entirely with his rude attitude from the start; including on Valentine's Day, before Covid, in February. This time I only became angry when he tried to push me out the door just because he didn't want to hear my feedback: I did raise my voice to tell him to back off. Cumulatively Jared's behavior speaks for itself, and others have commented on it as well. If Wilton doesn't care, he doesn't care. Too bad.) read more

Arlene and her staff decorated my wedding at Holbrook Palmer park back in 2008. They transformed the park into a beautiful fairy land, filled with flowers and candle. Everyone at the shop was responsive and very easy to work with. I wasn't sure how I want the flower arrangement to be done, and Arlene gave me many wonderful ideas. She went to tour the place with me and added more beautiful touches to the place. My family and my guests were impressed with the flower decoration and bouquet. She was extremely accommodating to what we wanted and gave a number of great suggestions to enhance what we had in mind. She was willing to change her schedule around so we could have several meetings prior to the wedding. She was also able to throw in a number of back-ups and spares. Nina surpassed all of our expectations, and made our wedding venue look truly magical! Most importantly though, Nina is also very fun, kind, and full of tips for the bride! For example, during our consultation I told Nina I wanted to have red rose petals tossed up at us by our guests during the bride & groom dance. Nina, right away ripped out a red rose petal and rubbed it against a white cloth, demonstrating how much red roses stain fabric!
