Came here awhile back with M to see D and his band perform. We had a great time. This place gets really packed. Employees are laid back and very cool. Restrooms are in the back and are clean. They have a variety of menu items. We tried their wings, which were delicious. The pub is clean and organized. There is a little dance area where you can get your groove on. D and his bandmates played wonderfully. It was so nice to relax and listen to some great music! read more

Beaver wings is where it's at here at Ashburn Pub. The wings are kinda small though for the price. There are half price burgers on Thursdays and they are good. Never really had anything else. The service is spotty and that's why I gave it 3 instead of 4 stars. The place is small, so you could have a wait if it gets really busy. My wife and I decided to take a break and drove out to Ashburn. This restaurant has been around for well over 28 years and is in a strip mall. Not the typical place for a restaurant that serves great food. I want to give a fair review because we really love the place and I think that there was one or two things to be aware of. First off when we got there and walked in the only people wearing masks where the servers. They were about 12 people in the restaurant that did not wear masks. However outside they had three tables which is where we sat. Matt, who was our waiter was awesome. My wife and I both commented on the great service. We ordered French onion soups and hamburger. Matt brought the hamburger onto plates which was super considerate since we were splitting it. The burger Was Juicy delicious and the fries were crispy and hot they were actually tater tots with bacon and cheese. We will be back for sure. The other guests were very friendly and mostly a local crowd. You can tell that this restaurant really cares about its neighborhood and the food that it serves. Our waiter also makes the desserts on a daily basis so you never know what's going to be available and you are sure that it will be fresh and delicious. read more

Excellent boneless wings. I had the Old Bay Hot Sauce wings, and, be honest, they tasted a bit like buffalo wings to me, but I like Buffalo wings and they were so good that I didn't care. The Ashburn pub is what you would call the " cheers pub" of our area! It's a lot of fun and everybody knows your name. The one thing you wouldn't expect in a place like that is awesome food and great service. Both of which the Ashburn pub has! They have a very diverse menu with lots of really good specials, excellent bartenders who make fantastic drinks. As well as a high cleanliness score from the health department. Which for me is very important!! You can also mix and match and change things up and they will accommodate that for you. Great place to hang out with friends. The food is good, drinks are good, and it's nice that happy hour lasts until 7pm. We've been there so many times before that I decided to bring my family that was visiting in for brunch, and there weren't many food options but the drinks were cheap and delicious so it made up for it. The food tasted good, but there were only a few options to choose from. I've been here for Halloween for the past 3 years now, trivia on tuesday nights, the super bowl last year, tons of Capitals games, a fundraiser for a local nonprofit, and each time I go back it has been a great environment. I've been coming here on and a very long off for 23 years. Reasons for the long time away was logistical only. The Pub has great upper echelon bar food and good service by all staff. The owner here makes the difference. Even if it's not a Steeler bar anymore, the clientele are friendly and casual. Good happy hour specials on food and drinks and none of this happy hour ends at 6:00pm bullshit like do many other places, you can get specials as late as 9:00pm! Pasta dishes are always great, sandwiches and burgers are yummy, and the chicken wings are the best wings outside PA. Just go there! You'll be glad you did! read more

This place is GREAT. Im here for a week and a half on business and this was the first bar/pub i went to. Staff was helpful and friendly, food was AMAZING. The Bacon cheeseburger with Beaver Sauce is the absolute TRUTH. Great experience and will be going here again before I leave as well as when i come back on business. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. They have great deals on Thursday too, $1 beers and half priced burgers. I'd frequent more, but if you don't get there as soon as they open, you'll be stuck standing or go elsewhere due to how insanely small the venue is.
