Ended up chatting with Aaron for 15-20 mins about bikes, Seattle and anything else that came to mind. Really easy going shop with genuinely nice folks working there. Would recommend this as a first stop for anyone in the market for a bike, bike parts, a tune or even a place to find friendly conversation. Thanks Aaron, for the good conversation. I hope Seattle agrees with you and you stick around. The bike community will benefit from your easy going attitude, and no doubt you'll run a great shop! I like that it's women owned, local, and the bike selection is curated. There's no pretentiousness, info is up to date, and it looks like a fun indie shop. You also get to see who the mechanics are and their interests. Lots of customers came and went while I waited and I witnessed him treat every customer with courtesy and respect. For my front brake, Charles had to re-thread 2 parts so they would fit together again! He had a really handy re-thread file tool which I've never seen or heard of. He told a few stories while I waited and he worked. He gave me a tip on where to go to see salmon running and seals feeding (and possibly orcas waiting at the mouth of the inlet to feed on the seals #PBSlive).
