The L'Industry is genuinely one of the best pizzas I've had, maybe the best. The burrata on top is fresh and creamy and takes it to another level. Fair warning: the crust is not the typical crunchy NY slice you might expect. It's softer, more of its own thing. I didn't mind it at all, the dough itself is really good, just go in without assumptions. Plan for a wait. The line is part of the deal here. Worth every minute.

Guess when you have lines everyday, you get a solid idea about how long it takes. The employee who I later found out was a manager was doing a lot of yelling. That included yelling at customers to keep moving and to hurry up ordering. It did not include telling his one employee taking orders to stop chit chatting with certain customers. Interesting. When I was finally able to order, I got a pepperoni and a fig jam bacon slice. Total was like $15 which seems a little steep but whatever I guess. After about 10 or so minutes, my pizza was ready. The pepperoni was about an 8/10. Very good slice of pizza. Nothing noteworthy to me though and no better than other slices I had. A very good piece of pizza. The fig jam bacon was more like a 7-7.5/10. The amount of toppings was lacking. The bites that did have toppings were quite good. Better than the pepperoni. I was telling my brother that to me, the perfect pizza would be mama's too crust and the L'industrie toppings... and THAT my friend, would be the BEST pizza in the world, haha. I ordered the pepperoni on a saturday evening... or was it friday evening? around 9:45pm. It wasn't too crazy busy, but it was busy and loud. The line to order was quick, roughly a 1 minute wait? But to get your slices... the wait wasn't too bad, even though it felt longer than it did. I probably waited 15 minutes or so? Given the fact that there were 20 others ahead of me, that was not bad at all. By the time you get your food, if you wanted to eat there, you could easily find a spot to slide to, to stand and eat. Pepperoni pizza was delicious. Sauce is on the tangier/more acidic side, more tomatoey. and the pepperoni was great. Slight spice to it, but not as good as L'industries. Nonetheless, this slice was delicious. Hot, melty gooey cheese and lots of pepperoni overload. Crust is divine. I could just eat that by itself. Having waited in line for 15 minutes and then another 10 or so immediately before at the supposed #1 place within about a 1 minute walk nearby; I was glad that this had no wait to order. I did the Uncle Joe which was a vodka pepperoni sauce and I added pesto. The total was $8.50. WTAF. NYC I guess. I waited less than 5 minutes before getting the pizza. Of the 6 slice spots I had, this was by far the best tasting dough/crust. I had an audible reaction when tasting the crust. Extremely good. Unfortunately, the pizza had too much sauce. It was overwhelming. Simply too much sauce. I could only have about half before giving up. Both sauces tasted good, but the vodka sauce was so loaded that it was hard to taste anything else. A shame because this had potential to be a great score.

Our wait was at least an hour and a half and were texted when our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom for all to use. We got the viral pancakes and they were everything you'd dream they be and then some for sure very filling and buttery. I got a "pick me up" and it was perfect gave me a beautiful caffeine kick to start the day I recommend for sure. Weather you come for the viral moment this feels like a solid staple in the community with bright music playing everyone kind of everywhere and just a relaxed feel that you can't wait to enjoy after you get seated. After running a couple of errands while waiting for the table to be ready, we were seated outside at the patio after an hour and 45 minutes. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

The mapo tofu, green beans, twice cooked pork, and spicy (lazi) chicken were very flavorful. I thought the mala levels were just right, but it may be on a bit on the lighter side compared to authentic. The lamb spine came in a delicious broth, but it was a bit hard eating the lamb from the bone for not a lot of meat. The house steamed fish was also amazing. They don't take online reservations for groups over 5, so we called to make one for our group of 6. It was pretty busy Friday night, so would recommend. The service was great; they drew the cutest card when they found out it was my brother's birthday and let us bring a cake. And they also offered hair ties to the people with long hair. You order through an iPad which has a beautiful menu.
