Armani Ristorante is brand new. It is on Madison at the Armani Residences. There is apparel and Armani Casa floors as well. It is an Armani design. Designer prices and portions so you will stay slimmer. Good pasta. Interesting pumpkin dish with goat cheese crumble. I ordered the main entrée of eggplant which was good w tomato and cheese. Rose tea and a meringue dessert w strawberries. I would return for an occasion or anytime. Good to bring a date or for business. A lunch or dinner. Appealing drinks in their lounge and for an event. I like shopping, but food is good too.

Great place to eat in midtown Manhattan. Great food, exceptional service, and beautiful atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

Great date spot! Look honey, let's be real. You come here for the ambiance, which is pretty worthwhile. Food was up to par. We opted for the 3-course prix fixe. I really enjoyed my wagyu oxtail ravioli and Dover sole. The appetizers were rather forgettable. Service was as good as expected.

Had a girls dinner here and it was no surprise why my friends selected this restaurant. When you walk in, it feels super TRENDY and glamorous, Cocktails were delicious according to every single person who had one. I would come back just to try more of their cocktail menu. We had the pre-fixe menu completed with a pasta dish, steak, and petite desserts. The food was honestly not that memorable to me. The ambiance however; was gorgeous and the service was very attentive to our large party. The restaurant is connected to this architecturally BEAUTIFUL staircase that leads you to the Armani store. Felt like you just walked into a fashion world's dream. Envisioning a ton of photoshoots just on that staircase alone.

Went here for my parents' anniversary and this place is an absolute must! I've been here a few times and every time it delivers. The service is amazing and the food is incredible. It has an old nyc type vibe which I love. Definitely get the risotto, the steak, the steak tartare, and the garlic spaghetti. Cocktails are all good so get whatever fits your taste! Definitely get dessert, it always comes with a few extra.

Delayed post - A few years ago, I came here for dinner, and didn't like the food. I decided to give this place another chance. I am glad I did. My friend and I ordered off the Restaurant Week menu as it has some items that we wanted to get. We started off with an appetizer made with salmon, it's fresh and refreshing. We followed the server's recommendation and ordered the sea bream entree. The skin of the fish fillet was perfectly seared. The couscous at the bottom of the fish fillet compliments the dish really well. We ended the 3-course dinner with the chocolate mousse dessert that comes with passionfruit sorbet. They also brought out some mini cookies, compliments of the chef. Service was so attentive, and I saw them ironing the table cloth when they prepared for the next reservation. I did not take a picture of the bread, but the olive oil for dipping tastes so good.

    Love the decor...

My daughter and I wanted to take advantage of Restaurant Week, so I chose this beautiful restaurant. I love the decor from the moment I stepped out of the elevator. The service was exquisite. They staff checked in on us the entire time. The presentations on the dishes were like artwork and the drinks were nice and refreshing. It was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!

Gorgeous restaurant sitting on the 3rd floor of the flagship store. I hd a slow day at work and decided to treat myself to an upscale lunch down the street. I had read only great reviews and my experience truly lived up to what everyone says: exceptional service, tasty food, and generous portions. i started off with complimentary cauliflower foam and bread. the cauliflower foam tasted like soup - so savory nd full of flavor. The bread is also quite nice - lots of flavor, soft interior/crunchy exterior. got the crudo as my appetizer which tasted great - what makes this stand out is the quality of the fish. the spaghettini is definitely the star of the show with lemon zest to add a kick of flavor, really enjoyed this part of the meal very happy with my experience and will be returning

I came here today for restaurant week, and I loved it. Polite, professional, and attentive staff. A beautiful, elegant, and pristine place for a dinner date, business lunch, or going out with the girls. Portions, although small, are very tasty and pleasing to the palate. Not too far from the train station. Very nice decor; just take the elevator up and enjoy. Regular menu prices are not too bad. Drinks are $$$ more than your average price. Be ready for a hefty bill. Even with restautant week, our bill was $218. But the experience is well worth it, I would say.

Omg I absolutely love this restuarant. This restuarant usually participates in restaurant week but unfortunately I never made it there. In the meantime I am in my tasting menu phase and I came across the Giorgio Armani tasting menu, which is 7 course meal for $135 per person. It was definitely a splurge but so worth it for the taste and experience. I went inside Giorgio Armani store to hop on the elevator to get into the restaurant on the 3rd Floor. What I learned at the end of the night as I was leaving is that the restaurant had its own street entrance. I arrived at around 6pm there were very few local diners so I get to enjoy the amazing ambiance while feeling like a regular. However prior to being seated the hostess checked my temperature and had to complete an electronic contact tracing form. When I was seated I had the perfect view of 5th Avenue from the 3rd floor. The menu was served in a tablet. I loved the table set up and I was constantly thirsty so I kept drinking water the whole time. I must say that if you're doing this tasting menu be prepared for a three hour course meal experience. The service overall was amazing there about 5 people constantly pouring water when it was half full, scraping off the crumbs and changing utensils for every dish served. Dennis the waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable. He is originally from Italy and he was my curator throughout my meal experience up until 7pm-7:30pm when the restaurant started getting busy. Now to the food: The chef served two free appetizers for their summer menu which changes every two days. 1) Zucchini Tarragon and Italian Parmesan tart. The tart was made from rice flour. It was light and it was a perfect bite. 2) Custard with fish eggs and truffle - this dish was ok definitely a sample of a luxury appetizer. Now to the seven course tasting menu: First dish: LATTUGA E PISTACCHIO Baby lettuce salad dressed with white balsamic vinegar, Sicilian candied pistachio foam, matcha powder and yogurt powder. First impression: love the dressing and the salad tasted good when you combine all the components to the baby lettuce. Second dish: VITELLO TONNATO Veal tonnato with Pantelleria caper leaves and homemade vegetable giardiniera. The veal is braised and served separately from the homemade pickled vegetables. This dish was interesting and to really appreciate the dish you have to take the pickled vegetable and wrap it with the veal to get that perfect food balance. What I did was I ate the veal first then chased the aftertaste down with the pickled vegetables. Ultimately when you combine the two it is the perfect bite. Third dish: POLPO Grilled octopus with fermented blueberries served with a purple corn cannolo filled with mantecato. This dish was also served separately. The octopus was cooked to perfection but it had an interesting taste with the fermented blueberries. The corn cannoli is filled with octopus blended in olive oil, that was also interesting. Definitely a dish I never had, probably my least favorite yet the taste of it is memorable. Fourth dish: TORTELLI Tortelli filled with buffala milk robiola, fresh green pea puree and black seasonal truffle. This dish was to die for, I have no words but I would eat this dish again if it's available a la carte. Fifth dish: RISOTTO Carnaroli Riserva "San Massimo" Armani Milano with safron and Parmigiano fondue. Another amazing dish, very rich in cheese but deceivingly filling. Definitely worth trying a la carte. Sixth dish: MANZO 35-day dry aged angus served with confit potatoes and oven roasted mushroom. Since I was getting really full from the two amazing previous dishes, I didn't enjoy this dish as much as I would have liked. The meat was cooked Medium and I had to force myself to finish the 3oz serving. I loved the confit potato, grilled scallion and picked rhubarb. I wasn't thrilled by the mushroom. I would have the dish more if I was more hungry. There was a break between the sixth and seventh dish because I needed to digest all the savory ingredients I ingested. So for the pre dessert the chef served a coconut sorbet with homemade strawberry fruit roll up. This dish was very refreshing especially after eating the savory dish. Seventh dish: MELA VERDE Robiola and goat cheese mousse, cake topped with green apple sorbet. This dish hit the spot to end my night. The mousse blended perfectly with the green apple. The sorbet with the cake tasted awesome. I devour this dish. Definitely worth ordering a la carte. On top of the food listed above, there was complementary fresh baked sourdough bread which I will reheat plus breadsticks and cheese crisps. In addition, the were petite fours but was too full to consume I took it to go. Favorite dishes: tortelli, risotto and mela verde. If you able to splurge or treat yourself with a tasting you should check this place out! Dennis was an amazing waiter and food curator.

The most wonderful dining experience we've had in a long while . Living in NYC over 10 years much has changed as of late. Armani is an ode to days gone by. The staff are welcoming in this lovely venue overlooking 5th Ave. Fabrizio greeted us and brought our party of 4 to the loveliest table . The entire staff were warm and went above to ensure our evening was nothing short of spectacular. We must rave about the food. The chef is to be commended . Every bite was truly mouthwatering. Start to finish, presentation to taste, Armani does an incredible job!

Armani in NY is a good Resturant. I would recommend the food, and the ambiance was great. The steak especially was SO good Unfortunately the server DianaD was very rude, and unprofessional. The whole time it felt as though she was not interested to serve or help. For example when asked for her recommendations for the main course and later for dessert she said read the menu both times. The experience was negatively tainted because of how she was acting. However other staff including the host, the 2 runners that were helping DainaD, the chef and the manger Francesco were all kind, warm and welcoming. Thank you

I believe they offer excellent service and food. It's pricey but worth it. Located near Fifth Avenue, upstairs in the Armani clothing store, with luxurious decor.

Particularly the penne funghi is to die for. Tried the linguine vongole clam pasta for the first time and was pretty good as well! Just wish there was more sauce and the clams were the tiniest size I've seen which was disappointing and to make matters worse, a good 1/3 of them were empty. Besides that, the meal was delightful and still great value as it was delicious with huge portions! Love! However, service at this particular branch is nowhere near as good as other branches. I understand it's busy and it's always incredibly crowded with people and cramped seating and loud music/voices but this was like no other. When I arrived party of 2, they had nearly 5 tables empty and yet we couldn't sit at any of them because the had to wait for reservations to see if they arrived and we had to wait 15 min but they said they'd let us know. We were forced to sit at the bar which the giant metal can of alcohol bottles took up 1/2 my seating/dining area and no one bothered to move it or ask if that was okay because obviously it wasn't but the didn't care. We waited awhile for the food to come and during that time we asked if there really wasn't any table availability since tables clearly open and the denied again even though reservations never came. Literally 3 tables remains consistently empty throughout our entire dining experience confined to the cramped bar area. They even closed the door, separating the outdoor diners which was weird and it became insufferably hot inside, even on a cold windy day. Bathroom situation here is also terrible as it is downstairs with steep narrow stairs and me and other customers almost bumped into each other and staff carrying multitude of food dishes and dirty dishes up and down the stairs. Never have I ever had such an undelightful experience going to bathroom at a restaurant. Additionally, sink water pressure either had no water coming out or a giant spray of water making it impossible to wash hands without getting a whole shower. This location really needs work. Only reason why I'm not giving it five stars is because I love Fumo as a whole. Just skip this location.

Overall, we highly recommend L'Artusi for a special night out!

L'Artusi has been on my radar for a while, ever since I heard it was a hot spot and saw reviews of…read moreit being one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. Being Italian American, I'm hypercritical of spots like these - but nevertheless the positive reviews were overwhelming so I wanted to check it out for myself. One of my friends and I were looking to catch up, so I booked a table and off we went. While it can be tricky to get a reservation during prime dinner time, it's relatively easy to get a lunch reservation - or an early/late dinner. I managed to get a reservation for dinner at 9:15pm which was the earliest I could find. The restaurant is pretty unassuming on the outside - it looks like a converted brownstone and once inside we were greeted by a large space with a sceney vibe. The space is split between two levels with a large bar up front and a semi-open kitchen in the back. The decor was modern - with lots of greys and neutral tones which was a little unexpected. The main star of the menu is pasta, but they also have a few non-pasta mains as well as some crudo selections, apps, and sides. We decided to get a few apps, two pastas, and one side. To start, we went with the octopus, roasted mushrooms, burrata crostone, and focaccia. These were all really good, but my favorite was the mushrooms. I'm usually not a fan of mushrooms but these were prepared with red pepper and fried egg and were delicious; it cut through the earthiness and changed the texture to something I really enjoyed. The focaccia was also a standout - it's house made and was paired with a peppery oil that complemented the bread well. For mains we split two pastas - the caccio e pepe and the rigatoni. Both of these were very good, though I felt the rigatoni was the stronger dish. It was prepared with sausage ragu, soppressata, broccoli rabe pesto, and pecorino. The flavors worked really well together and the pasta was cooked al dente. The caccio e pepe was perfectly fine, I just feel it's been overplayed and didn't feel there was anything that stood out amongst the others I've tried. We also got a broccoli rabe as a side which was great. We couldn't leave without dessert and decided to get their olive oil cake and quattro formaggio cheesecake. The restaurant is known for the former - it was perfectly fine but I've had olive oil cakes elsewhere of the same or better quality. The cheesecake was the stronger dessert IMO - the combination of cheeses gave it an interesting, almost savory flavor. The brûlée top and mascerated strawberries were great texture and flavor complements. Service was great - the place was packed but service was consistently on point and everyone was friendly. Overall, I had a good experience at L'Artusi. While everything was very good, I'm struggling to find the exact reason why this place became such a hot spot compared to other Italian spots in the city. Nevertheless, you'll have a good meal here and I would definitely return if given the opportunity.

The first thing I noticed was there were 7 people in my party and 4 arrived early and did not have to wait for my arrival to be seated. Second the waiter who took our order was polite and on point with specials and knowledge of the menu. He (just never caught his name) suggested the Rigatoni which chicken and sausage.
