There wasn't much that needed to be done, she did the bustle, hemmed a little, and adjusted the cups. Only complaint is that her young child was running all over the place in the room with a sticky lollipop (not exactly a good situation in a room with a bunch of wedding dresses!) as well as playing with the scissors right next to where I was standing in my wedding dress. That was very concerning to me. But luckily the dress was came out perfect.

The…read morefirst place we took it, the lady refused to touch the sleeves and she'll "never touch the sleeves" and "it will ruin the dress". However I knew there had to be someone actually good who could do it. My SIL recommended Thuy after fixing her dress and she is truly a miracle worker! The seams on the sleeves ended up being so stubborn with horrible stitching from the manufacturer, but she still worked on it and did an amazing job! For all those alterations that you think would be too difficult, Thuy is the one to go to! I would trust her with any dress of mine. Keep in mind with the timing that it may take several weeks but it is worth it!

I've been going to Perfect Tailoring for over 10 years. I don't even live in Milpitas anymore, but…read moreI still make the drive here to get all my tailoring done. The owner is such a nice lady and has altered everything for me over the years--suits, shirts, pants, jackets, and today, for the first time, a jersey! Go niners! For the jersey, she not only shortened the length, but also moved the Nike label higher so everything looks completely natural, like it was never altered. She was even able to tighten up the arm area since jerseys naturally tend to fit big. Now it fits perfectly! She's also tailored more than a dozen of my wife's dresses and dressy jackets over the years. We've never had an issue with anything she's done. Hopefully she never leaves because we wouldn't know where else to go!

Got one set back with stains still on the garment but assumed it might just not be removable. Idk figured it was worth giving the benefit of the doubt since the staff seemed nice and capable. I should've been more diligent in checking the clothes the next time before I left but the recent set of clothes I picked up I inspected when I got home and looked untouched, in their original state and then I noticed the tag reading "needs sewing" was still on my dress strapped and unfixed. It wouldn't be that annoying since it really is my own fault but I gave the woman an extra week to fix it after she told me she was unable to do it in the original allotted time. I really should've checked in store before I left so it's mostly on me and they were a nice enough staff, just be careful before you pay. Either way, I paid full price for all of this and it wasn't cheap so I'm annoyed since I'll have to pay for them again to get done somewhere else properly.

I made an appointment with her 2 months out from the wedding and didn't know what to expect. The moment I got there I could tell I was in good hands. Nur was very detailed in how she broken down every part of the dress that didn't fit quite right. I needed the whole corset to be resized. The bust was 2-3 sizes too big, the waist needed another few inches off, the length needed shortened and I needed the bustle put in. In our first appointment she showed me 4 different bustle styles and told me to decide by our next appointment. Immediately after our first appointment, she booked me for my 2nd and 3rd try on immediately to make sure that she could get the dress to me with at least 1 week before when I needed it. She also timed the try ons for the same time of my menstrual cycle of my wedding ~honestly genius. I was so impressed with her work at the end. She really brought the dress to life with how it fit me. If you need your wedding dress altered, look no farther!

However, when I returned at the agreed pickup time, the store was closed at 10:15 AM despite both the door and online hours stating a 9:00 AM opening. I came back about an hour later when the store was open, only to find that none of the alterations had been completed. I was told she was surprised I came so early and had planned to call to ask for more time. This was very disappointing--if the work wasn't going to be ready, I should have been notified in advance, not on the day of pickup. She complained that I came too early in the day. I gave her my clothes over a week ago and she said to come back the following Saturday, not specifying any time. Due to the situation, I requested all of my items back before any work was done. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and not the level of service I expected. I'm going elsewhere.

He did two suits during a really busy season, no issues. Then recently turned around a suit and a dress shirt in two days when he had a full week to do it. Even the initial week timeline was short, considering my alteration requests. Everything comes back steamed and neatly packaged.
