2 two item combos with sinigang, curry, adobo, dinuguan, and lechon.
Caren L.

By far my favorite Filipino place in SGV. It's cafeteria style and their combos are a great deal! The 2 item combo is easily enough food for 2 people. Their menu rotates so make sure to check out their Insta page for the daily menu. Highly recommend the dinuguan, adobo, laing, and menudo. Get there early for the best selection. Also, they sell lumpia but you need to call ahead of time since they fry them fresh.

This place slaps. I may be biased with Filipino food, but this is better than 90% of places I've had in the area. Would definitely go back

What can I say but COMFORT FILIPINO FOOD!!!! This place calls your inner child, waiting for Lola to finish cooking (in this case, kuya Art) The food was so good and savory. It wasn't oily or greasy... it's just a good amount of UMAMI flavors dancing in your mouth. The staff was so friendly and kind. I can't wait to visit again and try the rest of the menu.

50 Shanghai lumpia

First time ordering from Art's. Ordered 50 lumpia which were ready in 15 minutes. They were smaller (shorter) than expected but very good and I would order them again. Also tried the chicken curry which was a little bland for my taste.

Small place Service is good Food not bad Ambiance ok But no restroom The place is clean

Lechon

Ordered through Uber eats and all food arrived fresh and very delicious. Teriyaki chicken was delicious full of flavor, Lechon was crispy and flavorful and the Lumpia was amazing.

(Top left, clockwise) Sisig, Pares, Pork Adobo, Pork Sinigang to go.

I love the people. So nice and so hospitable. Food is delish too! Will be back for sure!

It's my first time and I only ordered halo-halo. The halo-halo is 8 out of 10.

First time trying this place. I ordered halo-halo 8/10. I want to try the lumpiang shanghai but I have to buy 25 pcs. Next time.

Our home away from home, as they serve Filipino dishes which is my comfort food, and the customer service, is at its best.

It's ok. I was disappointed with the quality of the chicken adobo... small, chopped up pieces and the flavor was a little lacking.

I ordered kids' nuggets but was charged for kids' tenders, which cost more. I also ordered noodles listed on the menu for $4.99, but was charged $10.50. When I questioned it, the manager first claimed nuggets and tenders were the same price, which they are not. Then I was told the noodle price was supposedly "happy hour pricing," even though nothing on the menu or tables mentioned that. The waitress helping us was actually very nice My issue was with management. After making us wait, the manager came over, dropped the check on the table without apologizing, he said nothing and walked away. The charges were never corrected. Before posting this review, I emailed the restaurant twice, contacted them on Instagram, and never received any response. I'm mainly disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer service.

This place reminds me of an old school fish and chips restaurant!…read more We decided to come here after passing by hundreds of times on our way home from somewhere. We came here around 5:30PM and the traffic to get to Shrimp House was pretty bad. Found out that you can enter from Myrtle and from Live Oak. We were on Myrtle and went onto Live Oak thinking that was the only entrance.. that was a mistake due to the backed up traffic during the time. When we got there, we were seated at a table. It was pretty crowded, full of older people. The guests were friendly and seemed to be regulars of the place. When the waitress came to us, she took our order. We ordered: Popcorn Shrimp - Loved this sooo much! Reminds me of Sizzler. Popcorn shrimp was hot, fresh, and had a crispy batter! The actual popcorn bedding added to the theme :) 9/10 Ceviche - We got the Mexican style and it was good. Not as good at Kickin Shrimp, but it was a good appetizer to start with. 7/10 Clam Chowder - This clam chowder reminds me of Sizzler's clam chowder. It was creamy and thick, and had a few bits of clams. 7/10 Grilled Seafood Sampler - The fish was nice and flaky. Very flavorful with the seasoning that they used. The shrimp was nicely grilled. We were not a fan of the bell pepper that was on the skewer that bled into the shrimp itself. The flavor was a bit intrusive considering shrimp already has a light flavor. Finally the scallops were a pass. Just grilled, nothing amazing. 7/10 overall Shrimp Scampi Linguine - Not sure what the hype was about, but this was the most forgetful dish I had here. The linguini was a bit soft/overcooked, the fettuccini sauce was thick and not too cheesy, but more creamy, if that makes sense, and the shrimp was just shrimp (possibly the grilled shrimp) and was just drowned in the fettuccini sauce and lost any natural flavors it would've had. 3/10 Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream: Out of the disappointing Shrimp Scampi Linguini, the Lava cake made up for it. We do not usually get dessert, but we were sure glad we got this. Similar to the pazooki from BJ's, but a hot choco cake instead. I can do without the whipped cream though, since I don't like it too much. 8/10 Overall, this place is a small, quaint place for seafood. The appeal is the hometown feel, friendly service, all while providing good, affordable seafood.

Service: About a 3.0-2.5. 2 servers, nice, but for being such a small place, the service was slow. I get it, they are young and I am sure the owners get comfortable with the staus quo. If they trained them, or hired so.eone with a more sense of urgency, this food joint would rock! Ambiance: A small, strip-mall style hole in the wall. We gave this local place a try and it was woth the trip. Very common 4 top tables with 2 pull-chairs and booth seating along the walls. Over all, we would go back.
