2 two item combos with sinigang, curry, adobo, dinuguan, and lechon.

By far my favorite Filipino place in SGV. It's cafeteria style and their combos are a great deal! The 2 item combo is easily enough food for 2 people. Their menu rotates so make sure to check out their Insta page for the daily menu. Highly recommend the dinuguan, adobo, laing, and menudo. Get there early for the best selection. Also, they sell lumpia but you need to call ahead of time since they fry them fresh.

This place slaps. I may be biased with Filipino food, but this is better than 90% of places I've had in the area. Would definitely go back

What can I say but COMFORT FILIPINO FOOD!!!! This place calls your inner child, waiting for Lola to finish cooking (in this case, kuya Art) The food was so good and savory. It wasn't oily or greasy... it's just a good amount of UMAMI flavors dancing in your mouth. The staff was so friendly and kind. I can't wait to visit again and try the rest of the menu.

    50 Shanghai lumpia

First time ordering from Art's. Ordered 50 lumpia which were ready in 15 minutes. They were smaller (shorter) than expected but very good and I would order them again. Also tried the chicken curry which was a little bland for my taste.

Ordered through Uber eats and all food arrived fresh and very delicious. Teriyaki chicken was delicious full of flavor, Lechon was crispy and flavorful and the Lumpia was amazing.

(Top left, clockwise) Sisig, Pares, Pork Adobo, Pork Sinigang to go.

I love the people. So nice and so hospitable. Food is delish too! Will be back for sure!

It's my first time and I only ordered halo-halo. The halo-halo is 8 out of 10.

First time trying this place. I ordered halo-halo 8/10. I want to try the lumpiang shanghai but I have to buy 25 pcs. Next time.

Years ago, I came by during lunch time. I ordered the pork adobo and the sinigang soup. It was so good. I never forgot the taste. I wish it can be closer to me so I can get it more often. I was really craving adobo and sinigang soup today so I drove about 30 minutes here. The place still looked the same. I decided to get the 3 items combo. The pork adobo, chicken adobo and sinigang soup. It came with rice or pancit. I love rice lol The flavors were the same. Still good as before. Service was also great like back in the days. This is probably the only place I go to for sinigang and adobo so good!

This is a small Market that has a little bit of everything that you're looking for from Southeast Asia. It's like a 7-Eleven, Filipino style. It's fun to look at the various items available here. You will always end up with more than just what you were looking for. I enjoy the cracker nuts, dried mangoes, and specialty dried items. Their selection of items is always changing so I like to look at what's new and on display. I will sometimes ask the front counter what just came in. The Fresh Deli, located up a small incline to the left as you enter the market, is spectacular. The flavor of the food permeates the entrance to the market. They have an incredible selection of fresh made food. It is difficult to make a decision between the different items. I asked for some help from the gentleman behind the counter. I've dealt with Christian, Gabriel and Abraham and all three are knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to explain how some of the food was prepared and the special attention that was given to each individual item. I wanted to limit myself to two items. I decided on the special marinated Beef Caldereta and the Lechon Kawali. On another trip I decided to try the Pork Tochino and the Barbecue Chicken Skewers. I can't tell you how happy I am with the flavors of the food from the deli. Everything was done to perfection. The Chicken skewers were tender and moist with a great barbecue flavor. The Toccino had a nice marinade flavor and was not too sweet. The Lechon was tender and had enough fat to give it a great flavor and texture. I have to admit the Caldereta was my favorite. Great taste, texture, and just the right spices to give it a little kick. The rice and noodles were a perfect accompaniment. All the sauces I was given added to the flavor of all the dishes. At the cash register at the front counter I paid for my items and asked about other items coming in in the near future. I found out that they are not always sure what's going to become available but always looking for something that will make their customers happy. This is truly a family establishment. I found out that everybody there is related. They definitely give exceptional service and quality merchandise, and delicious food. I look forward to coming back and trying many other items both in their market area as well as the Deli.

The parking lot had an interesting shape but it wasn't hard for us to find parking. We were seated quickly and we ordered a variety of foods. I had the Crispy Pares, my partner got the the Beef Pares and my in-laws split the Lechon and Sisig. We also tried their Calamansi and Mango juices and a Halo Halo for dessert. Overall, it wasn't bad but nothing here really stood out to me. If I'm honest, the home cooking of my in-laws (who are Filipino from the Philippines) tastes better. For me, the beef broth was super oily and the garlic rice smelled like garlic but didn't taste like anything. The crispy pork was both super crunchy (which I like) but also tough (the meat that is). I don't try the Sisig but I could hear my MIL muttering in Tagalog and I'm pretty sure thy were not kind words about the Sisig's flavor. Maybe the best items would have been in the overload upgrade but none of us were starving that we felt the need to try it out. Maybe next time? The juices were good though but the Halo Halo was a bit sad. It was like 92% ice cream, 4% rice crispy and corn flakes on top, 3% shaved ice, and 1% "other." I don't recall seeing any jellies, beans or fruit (though my partner said he saw ONE jelly. Last, I recognize this is a small family business and I support small businesses but as we say there eating, a few other tables exited and none of their tables were ever cleaned. It didn't really affect us but I was surprised that the staff was just chatting and on their phones for about 20 minutes and not bussing or clearing tables. It was slow at the time (as we were the last diners) but it was also kind of gross and as we were on our way out, I saw another group enter.

I was bragging to my best friend about their food because we are foodie's and we love to eat. We were excited about what we were going to eat on Thursday, March 27 '26 and we had gotten there around 5:30. They close at 7 sp we had an hour and a half to eat. We ordered about 6 dishes --Pork Sinigang, Adobong Pusit, Bihon Guisado, Garlic Rice, Plain Rice, Crispy Pata , Ube Turon. When the orders came, the rice was so little, what they said was good for 2 people is actually only good for one. We asked for ice. They said they had none. not a big deal but honestly ice is a very important thing to have. There were no condiments on the table (patis , toyo, suka) etc which is common place in Filipino eateries. Around 6:30 we were being asked to finish our meal because they were "closing". Did they forget we ordered a bunch of stuff. If they are worried about their closing time, rhen please dont accept people an hour and a half before closing as you guys kmow Filipino food is not burgers and fries . You eat w little bit of everything slowly , its a cultural thing. We were again told two more times to hurry eating as they were closing. I was so shocked i coulf barely believe this kind of treatment. As a former caterer and hotel manager, we have never kicked anyone out of any establishment when they are still eating. You shut the door, you stop taking in customers but you always let the people still eating inside finish their meal, even if you had to stay behind for a bit. Another reason i took my best friend to dine rhere is because we were both so hungry and we dont do any cooking in our homes. My best friend paid for the meal --almost $150 , we decided against leaving a tip because the service was poor. The people working in the front had a less than acceptable demeanor, rushing us out of there we couldnt even finish eating. All in all, i felt embarassed in front of my best friend who treated me to the meal, when i had done nothing but brag about this place and their food non stop. I wpuld have loved to have had a conversation wirh Ms Nova Mendoza herself in person to compliment her on the amazing food but also to tell her that the staff needed further training im hospitality, customer care, and soft skills , it is their behavior and conduct which will bring this restaurant down. To make things worse, I waited 40min to be served COLD bangus sisig, I'm sure that's some sort of code violation. The server tried to say they just cooked it, like who are you even trying to convince that this cold fish is freshly made?! I was also told that they prioritize take out orders over dine in despite arriving at 11am when they opened, so keep that in mind if you want to try this place. So you have all this food sitting waiting to get picked up while you have dine in customers waiting twidling thumbs.

We ordered the tipid package (included large pata, kare kare without oxtail, an appetizer, rice, and your choice of pancit bihon or pancit canton) and kenchi steak. We got lumpiang Shanghai (mini egg rolls with ground pork and shrimp) and a mix of bihon and canton. Most items serve three to four people, so come with a hungry party and prepare to take leftovers home. The crispy pata (a deep-fried pork knuckle) had a lot of flavorful and juicy meat. While this dish is inherently fatty, there is still meat to cut off. The kare kare (beef chunks, tripe, and vegetables with a braised peanut gravy) tasted good. The rich flavor was also influenced by vegetables, such as eggplants and long beans. Some of the beef chunks were a little fatty. The lumpiang Shanghai arrived late into our lunch because we had to follow up with our server. While they currently charge $23 just for this appetizer, the portion size was much too small. It seems that with this specific package, you'd get a smaller appetizer portion. The bihon (thin rice noodles) and canton (thick egg noodles) pancit mix tasted adequate, and we had no complaints. I enjoyed the kenchi steak the most. This dish is beef shin topped with bone marrow served on a sizzling plate with gravy and vegetables. The beef had a thick texture, and the potatoes tasted soft and lovely. It was filling and noticeably better than the items in the tipid package in my opinion. Lastly, even though we visited around noon, they unfortunately didn't have halo-halo (a Filipino milky shaved ice with fruits and preserves) available as a dessert. At the end of the day, this is a solid restaurant with large portions and well-seasoned flavors. I definitely see why it's a family favorite for many.

TK Cafe has thoroughly impressed me off first impression, and if I was closer, I'd probably be a regular here. For how much we ordered, the food didn't take too long to come out and genuinely, was so good. We got a lot here, from the garlic shrimp to the popcorn chicken, and so much more. The popcorn chicken was, without a doubt, my favorite item. We originally came here because a friend said they had the best popcorn chicken, and I'd honestly agree. It was crispy but also still a bit juicy and I feel like most places go heavily into the crisp aspect and it ends up just seeming overcooked. But it was a 10/10 here. The proportions are huge, so it's easy to over order. The crab rangoons were good on the portions and crispness and not overly filled with cream cheese which is nice. The noodles were good, pretty average, same with the Mac salad. The garlic shrimp was a bit overly garlic-y, but it was still good. If you're looking for a new Hawaiian spot, definitely check out TK Cafe. The proportions are huge and the taste is amazing. If I'm ever in Monrovia again, I'd definitely be stopping by!

Ordered a side of Portuguese sausage musubi as well. Yeah, I'm a pig. Loco Moco - 5/10: so yeah. This definitely isn't your traditional loco moco, or at least the dish that I grew up eating (808 born and raised). Two patties, mounds of rice, eggs (unfortunately served over hard...should always be over easy so the yolk comes out) side mac salad - check, check, check and check. But then they bury on the bottom of this dish a bunch of stir-fried veggies, which threw me off a bit. This dish ain't supposed to be somewhat healthy. And then they throw a very light brown sauce on it that definitely isn't gravy. More like a brown sauce you'd mix in with pan-fried noodles. Yeah, just not the way this dish is supposed to made. But at least they give you a lot of it! - Portuguese Spam Musubi - 7.5/10: this one was much better. All the elements were there, and yes, they used Portuguese sausages. Hard to screw up musubi, but believe me, it can be done. Two pieces come in an order and they're on the larger side. So yeah, a little disappointed. I will say though that if I'm in the area again, I might order some dim sum. Happy feasting!

The decor is adorable, Instagrammable for sure. It's set-up so that you can see and smell the food…read moreright when you walk in and they were friendly and welcoming. I don't usually comment about the restrooms but they were surprisingly large and filled with cute quotes all over. I can see this place being super fun for a karaoke night, family party, or for watching a big game. The portions were good sized for the 3 item combos that we ordered. I liked how they put the Dinuguan and the Chicken Adobo (forgot what this version was called) in separate containers. They also offered soup, which was very tasty, we should have gotten 2 instead of one. We also had Kare-Kare and a different type of lechon. Buko Pandan for dessert.

Actually I was referred by my own Tita who had their catering at a party not too long ago. The power of word of mouth is strong! Tita Charina was so warm, patient and supportive of me during a difficult time. I gave her an idea of how many people I was expecting and she told me exactly what dishes to get. We had egg rolls, rice, pinakbet, Turon, fish, roast beef, Alfredo pasta and hibiscus calamansi- all for a really reasonable price! Also she went out of her way to check the venue a few days prior to make sure she understood the setting of the room. The delivery guy came right on time the day of the service and even helped serve food for the first half hour before leaving. The serving trays and decor they used were very beautiful. Tita Charina was available via phone to answer a couple questions even though she was at another catering event herself. That's dedication! Thank you Tita's of Manila for being so dependable. I will surely be using you again for another event in the future. Salamat po!
