I found my favorite Cajun restaurant in LA! I tried Cajun Crawfish Stop this weekend and was very impressed by the quality, price and flavors of the food. I ordered the 1lb shrimp with added corn and sausage. I've been to many Cajun restaurants and tried several seafood boils but this restaurant does it so well. The seasonings were spot on with a slight twist as the owner incorporates Vietnamese flavors. The service was great too! The owner of the restaurant (Nam) came out after our meal to introduce himself. This is a small family run restaurant, the food and service were amazing. I have been craving a crab/shrimp boil. This place is hidden in a shopping center that looks abandoned but don't let that deceive you. This is worth trying. We did shrimp and crab, added 2x potatoes, 2x corn, and a sausage. We did do all three seasonings (Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter) but in retrospect, I would have gone with just Cajun. There is a faint Asian spice flavor to the seasoning. This place is Vietnamese so I wasn't surprised but just something to be aware of. The service is great, friendly and fast.
