I came with my family for an early Fathers day dinner. We made a reservation and originally opted to do a private room for 8 people and they mentioned the minimum spend for private rooms is $600 + a 20% service fee charge! We didn't come super hungry so decided to a regular table instead. I've been here a few times previously and always thought the Duck show was a crowd pleaser so I've been wanting to bring my parents here! Food did not disappoint - Not too salty but flavorful and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the duck! The smoked duck is my personal favorite. The crispy prawns are also delicious.

Elegant high end setting, delicious slightly different food, reasonably priced for the value. For the 4 of us, we ordered the group set menu B, designed for 4-5 people for $118. It was very sumptuous, high quality, with dishes like roasted duck, jelly fish salad, and pepper steak. My favorite was the fish soup, fish was tender and soup was very flavorful. Tip: once we ordered the set menu, dishes came up very quickly, it's best to let them slow down the pace if you are not in a rush. We got way too many dishes initially for us to enjoy properly, after letting them know, they gladly slowed down. Only complaint is it's a bit hard to hear each other even at a small table of 4-5 people. Several private rooms are available for events, the large one required $1500 min expenses before tax & tip.

Going to make this one quick and simple. Service was okay (took some time to flag servers down) and the ambiance was great along with the decor. We ordered the String Beans, Array 36 Signature Roast Duck, Crispy Shrimp, and Lotus Appetizer. To sum it up, everything was okay or mediocre given the high price tag of the dishes. The string beans were honestly the best tasting thing to me unfortunately. There are many better Chinese restaurants in the SGV if you're looking for authentic delicious flavors.

Nice and clean Chinese restaurant with modern decor. The interior is nicely done with a classy look. Customer service is great. Everyone was super nice and attentive. They were happy to recommend and they do not rush you. Food wise - we ordered the Phoenix Flaming Peking Duck, we also ordered a bunch of different items like the Buddha jumps over the wall ( abalone soup ), Sous-Vide Szechuan Beef short ribs, the whole fried sweet & sour fish, Dan Dan noodles, snow peas vegetables, & Yangzhou fried rice. All dishes were amazing. It tasted very authentic high end Chinese food. The Peking Duck was served table side and some parts of it was served smoked. They do not serve hard liquor but they have beer and house wine. They do not have a nice wine list though - just the house wine by the glass and a maybe 6 bottles of thousands of dollars per bottle selection. I suggest bring your own bottle - corkage is $20. Expect to spend here. With tip for a party of 4 was close to $650. I definitely recommend this place. Call for reservations.

The Pekin duck was my signature dish with the pancakes and side dishes all combined gives you that juicy wrapped chinese burrito taste The truffle sliced chicken was my other favorite dish. The sliced beef with daikon soup was delicious, flavorful and tender beef flavor. The soup was delicious Other dishes were ok, but the portion was kind of small comparing to other restaurant sizes . We ordered a set lunch of $98 that came with other vegetables dishes and dessert . Believes the size will probably feed 4 people. We were 6 in a party, so it was kinda small and not enough to fill our stomach. As for the inside it looks pretty awesome aesthetic and fancy feel. Service was just meh, I had to keep asking for the server to refill the tea because it was small and we drank a lot of water. Overall, it's worth trying for the first time if you haven't lol

Really enjoyed the food here and would definitely come back. We ordered the fried rice, duck, shrimp, and dumplings, and everything tasted great. The rice was a bit bland but other than that it's great. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and even without a reservation we were seated fairly quickly.

Perfect place to come with friends or family if you want to share dishes family-style. I've been here with friends and reserved the private rooms and I've also come several times with family. I love the dark ambiance and the overall vibe inside! There's free parking right in front of the restaurant and all throughout the plaza. The service is also great. Staff are always fast, attentive, friendly, and the food comes out pretty quick even when it's busy. Peking duck will usually be quoted a 45 minute wait but time passes by quickly while you enjoy your other dishes! My favorite go-to's are the yuzu jellyfish and the truffle chicken. Honestly I could come here just for those two dishes with a bowl of rice and be completely satisfied. The Peking duck is amazing and I love that it comes with brown sugar on the side. Super worth right now because they're doing a BOGO on the Peking duck (you just can't use the free coupon on a weekend, only weekdays).

Three of us went for Lunar New Year week's dinner and which is 222 February 22nd We ordered a whole duck with the fire show and we loved the deck The skin is very crispy and the meat is tender and juicy The radish pickles is the must pairing with the Peking duck It is so delicious Serive is just ok and they don't check us very often but they come to change our plates Their business is good and pretty much is a full house on Sunday night

I ordered Set C from their new lunch set menu, priced at $98, which includes eight different dishes. It felt well worth the price for both the quality and portion size. The set could definitely satisfy a group of 4. The Set C included: - Truffled hand-pulled chicken - Chili tofu skin salad - Signature roast duck - Fish slices with pickled mustard greens in a golden sour soup - Clear beef rib soup - Dry-fried string beans - Seasonal dessert

We been here for a couple times now. Our experience is getting better and better. Their servers are attentive, we didn't realize our shrimp hasn't arrive yet, but they reminded us and checked on us. We arrived late tonight after 8pm and they still accepted us and we don't feel rushed at all. Very nice and beautiful restaurant and their food is great especially their duck. They have very nice private party rooms. Highly recommended for any occasion. We will be back soon.

My family and I came here for Christmas Day, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment for me, especially considering the prices. We were probably most excited for the duck (there's the option for them to carve it in front of you or they can give it to you pre-cut). The duck wraps were good, however, the ratio of the amount of duck versus the toppings was very off. The amount of toppings they gave you was probably enough for just two wraps, and you had to pay extra for more toppings. Additionally, the beef dish we ordered took ages to come, and we had to ask about it multiple times, and almost canceled it, but they insisted it was coming soon. My favorite dish we ordered was probably the Spicy Mung Bean Jelly. The cold noodles were refreshing, and the spicy sauce was very good. I'm not sure if I'd return here.

Went to this place for the first dinner between my fiancé and mom. The decor and atmosphere was amazing and definitely felt like a restaurant in China. Food options was good and priced fairly. Music was a bit loud and whole decor was geared towards a younger crowd. Not as big as you think and very steep $500 minimum for a private room. I would return but not with mom and older people.

What a spread. Array 36 delivered on every course for Valentine's Day. Everything was visually dramatic, texturally satisfying, and of course, DELICIOUS! Peking duck came out in proper fashion: bronzed skin, juicy meat, steamed wraps, and all the traditional accompaniments -- julienned cucumber, scallion, hoisin, bean paste. I've been craving Peking duck every day since this meal! Service was attentive without hovering. The room itself -- low lighting, red and gold florals on each table -- made the Valentine's night feel intentional without being cheesy. Array 36 earns a return visit. Come hungry and bring someone worth sharing with.

(4/5) Sautéed Pea Sprouts - Nicely done vegetable dish. It's simple but refreshing with good flavors. (4/5) Fried Whole Fish - This dish was gone so fast because it was delicious. Nicely fried and not overly seasoned. (5/5) Signature Lobster - I feel like you have to get this here since it's their specialty. It's pricey, but in my opinion, it's the best and freshest lobster in town. Tons of green onions, seasoned well, fresh meat, and lots of lobster roe. The shrimp in the honey walnut dish were large prawns. They were moist, succulent and tender. It had a rich flavor because of the mayo. The chow mein was full of chicken, shrimp, squid and octopus. I was too hungry to wait but I decided to come back nice and early. At my 8:30am visit I was able to be selective in their parking lot and no wait to be seated. Yay! I love the interior décor. The table had dominos underneath the glass, the dishes and utensils had lucky auspicious affirmations. I'm all for the positive vibes this early in the morning. I was excited for the breakfast specials since I love breakfast foods. I can eat it all day! The breakfast combos come with your choice of drink. Cold drinks are an extra $1. After looking at some photos on Yelp and some helpful Q&A with my waitress, I decided on their Breakfast Combo D. Porkchop & Egg Pineapple Bun with Dried Scallop Congee ($13.99) and I opted for the Iced Lemon Tea ($1 cold drink upgrade). What a deal!! I also added a side order of the Fried Dough Stick ($3.50) or also known as the crueler or Chinese donut since I like to have it with my congee. It wasn't needed from a portion perspective but I just like it. The food came out quickly, the congee first and then the fried dough stick and porkchop & egg pineapple bun. What a feast! The ladies at the lady next to me were so excited at my spread they asked me what I got. They thought I was really pro but it was actually just my first visit. Inside the pineapple bun there was a fried egg, porkchop, tomato, lettuce, and sauce. It was a huge sandwich. This is one of the bigger pineapple buns I see and it was well stuffed. The amount of food I ordered was enough to feed 2 people. The congee was really subtle. I didn't get the fried scallop that is in the name... I would just perceive it as a plain congee. The fried dough stick was oily and didn't taste too fresh. I probably won't order it next time. Nevertheless a still overall fabulous meal. My tea was refilled before I had the chance to ask. When I asked for the check, they knew to bring me togo containers without me having to ask too. Very smart service! I had a great meal here and I will definitely come back if I wake up early enough to come at opening.

Boston Lobster is officially my go-to location for any|all Asian lobster cravings!! Newport…read morewho?????!!! My family and I used to religiously eat lobster noodles whenever we made a trip down to SoCal. The pick of the bunch was 100% Newport Seafood- no negotiations, no contemplations. Unfortunately, the last handful of times have left me extremely disappointed and heavily annoyed. The cost and wait times do not reflect what is actually being provided and most of our food ends up being left behind because it simply isn't worth the calories. In all honestly, I've grown a phobia w/ that specific restaurant at this point because of the countless letdowns. My initial taste of Boston Lobster was about 3 years ago and I had the most enjoyable meal. Due to our LA trip coming to an end, my BD thought we should do it big with some lobster noodles- for good old time's sake. I absolutely refused to go anywhere unless we would be giving Boston Lobster a visit! Sure enough, they did not disappoint! Dinner for 3 adults and 1 toddler consisted of: *Boston House Special Lobster [no spice] + Garlic Noodles for an additional fee. Medium Size 5-6lbs minimally. *French Style Beef Cube *Sauteed Snow Pea Leaves We ate like mf'n KINGS!! Each and every dish was spectacular- even the greens! While we should have gone with the small sized lobster, I'm proud to say we went down with an honorable fight. Lmao!! The lobster was cooked to perfection- meat was sweet, succulent, and so darn tender. The garlic noodles soaked up all of the delicious lobster flavors and were not overcooked and mush. The bo luc lac was flavorful, juicy, and complimented the bed of lettuce, onions, & tomatoes so well. The snow pea leaves weren't tough and old- this truly was a simply yet magical dish. Service was on point and the staff continually came by to swap out our plates full of lobster shells. Above all, there was no wait with our initial arrival. Parking is easy given the fact that BL has a pretty big parking lot specifically for them. 5/5 stars!! We dropped over 3 bills here and it didn't even hurt. Lmao- this place is that damn good!
