The only reason I came Sunday night was to see our favorite South Florida Entertainer "the extremely talented "Our Lady Averie"! I was greeted warmly by the staff and as a 71 year young window with her service do I was impressed! For all who maybe a bit intimidated I encourage you to definitely come and enjoy the vintage East/West Village/Soho New York vibe! Yes I'm born and raised in Manhattan and Greenwich Village! I loved everything especially the eclectic pieces of furniture etc! It's a comfortable 60's vibe! Of course I ordered the Deviled Eggs! They definitely exceeded my very high expectations! Like nothing I've ever had! Full of flavor and creamy texture and so much more! If nothing else go for the eggs! Next time I will order the Bread Pudding! Now to the entertainment! They were lucky to have one of the best singer/ songwriters in the State! She also performs at Cafe BVR in Lauderdale By The Sea on Saturday nights! She definitely has a following there! It was a great evening enjoying great food, great atmosphere, great service and the best Entertainment! I'm a definite fan of Revelry! I highly recommend!

IM UPDATING.... This is a sad downgrade. Have you ever…read morewanted to like something so bad that you are angry when they fail. Im sitting in here now... I ordered this meat and cheese tray. $30. Look at the pics. Horrible. It was thrown on a plate. One of the meats was so funky. I order charcuterie everywhere, even Publix. This was insulting to me and my wallet. Well, mix that with a medoicre rock band and I was ready to go. It seems like the quality sipped. I even purchased 2 cocktails. I guess they are saving money by putting in very little liquor. So...what waa a typical 3 to 4 star night, was a 2. I guess if yiu have 4 or 5 bad drinks yiu can skip past it all. But I stopped at work. I wasnt drunk enough to ignore the overall mediocrity. Towards the end..the band Retro Active, old rock, got better they had a rough start then got better by 1.5 hrs in. I just need to lower my expectations in rough times or head to the casino I guess. I love supporting local business, but a $30 waste of my time. Its not the money, it's the sloo, lack of effort on the plate. We had abour 8 meat slices, a few walnuts:n cranberries. Bye Felicia! Im home now...I left at intermission. I guess Im angry because they failed on the basics. I get that businesses are suffering due to their poor voting choices, war, gas, economy. But...I guess Im angry about the basics. Its easy to take lunch meat and cheese. We make it at home! So Im pissed that you would mash up bread on a grill, throw on some funky meat, and toss 3 cups on a plate: honey, some weird sauce and something elsem. Darn right Im mad. The owners or whoever is fronting this should go back to basics. Here is my next play..eat before I go. Buy one drink then bring my own drink in my purse, fill my cup with basic rum and coke lol. My partner was smart: buy a beer. Something they can't mess up. I even saw folks with cans of miller lol. Im over this dive. I guess everything changes and some places have no capacity to last and age well. I even didn't like their bingo. Overalll, go if you know the band. Get tipsy before you go! Just not worth more than $20 stay really. I use to love it a few years back. Even the burlesque was tired. My kid said. Some people cant hang it up. I guess this is one! For great drinks, go to Bar Betty, upstairs in Sunness. Go hit Chainbridge...best old fashioned, near Moon Pizza. Best pizza at moom with pinball attached. Amazing cocktails, same price! There are several places doing it right!

The 1920s prohibition theme was done really well, and the Halloween decorations were a fun added touch. I immediately thought of Red Rum LOL. With the tin ceiling, skulls, full bar, red velvet cushion barstools and seats, the Edwardian ambiance was uber awesome. Menus featured original cocktails and famous quotes. What made it fun were the two mixologists. You could tell they enjoy their jobs, chatting and making it a special place for their patrons. Despite it being super dead, our server (who my mom pointed out has worked here for forever) was acting like he had 50 tables. It took forever to get him to come over and order anything from him, he was a mess. Other than the terrible service, the food was pretty good. Nothing to run home about but it wasn't bad. Everything was hot and came out relatively quickly and was made correctly. There was some sand in my clams, but I feel like that happens often when eating shellfish so I won't hold it against them. One has natural light with a lot of windows, which is where this baby shower was held. The other one is more closed off without natural lighting. Food: mixed reviews ranging from ok/pretty good to fantabulous…read more Service: very friendly, though I was confused that I knew more about a few various wines than our server did at an ostensible wine place, and I'm a beer drinker. Ambiance: clean, sharp, if a bit soulless; they had the music (R&B) up just a tad too high for lunch... no one's clubbing. Beers: now, I know it's a wine joint, but the beer selection is just awful (Bud AND Coors light, oh boy) with a couple palatable but unremarkable choices. The wine selection is very broad and I'm sure there is something there for everyone, but I was disappointed that a few grapes that are best from Alsace or Germany were from California. Price for Quality: still getting used to the new Iran-war and tariff-driven economy, so the sticker shock was high but actually not awful.
