I stopped in with a friend while on vacation for a breakfast burrito that was highly recommended online. The burrito was really tasty and the coffee was good as well. The timing was a lot slower than I thought it would be but it was a busy morning and many people didn't seem to mind the wait. Service was also a little less plesant than I would have preferred but it could have just been due to the crowd size. The food was very good and I would definitely recommend stopping and if you're not in a rush. My husband took me out on a drive from RI to Comstock seed company for a surprise. Close by we found the Aroma Bistro and decided to try it out. We ordered two delicious sounding vegetarian style burgers at the counter. Looking scrumptious we noticed they were beef burgers we mentioned it to the counter cook who thoroughly apologized and remade our sandwiches with veggie burgers and gave us each a free side salad. They were truly apologetic and kind about the error which I in turn appreciated as well. The meal was totally worth the wait. The ingredients were fresh and the blends tasty. I visited Aroma Bistro this past weekend for the first time to grab a quick breakfast. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a cheddar bagel with home fries on the side. The service here was super-friendly and the place had a great vibe, the kind of place the remembers their regular customers. I had the most unique and flavorful burger ever, the Ali Babbs... burger topped with smoked gouda, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and a curry mayo. The food here is excellent. Everything is prepared fresh and made to order so you have to expect a little extra time for preparation. There are many unique sandwiches and other menu items that are all thoughtfully created. I created a Yelp account for the sole purpose of reviewing Aroma Bistro. I've never been a "regular" to any restaurant as much as I have been to Bistro. My girlfriend and I are there almost every Thursday for burger night which is out of this world. My usual order is off their old menu but they still make it every time just as good as the last. The servers and chefs are very polite, friendly, and have even memorized our orders - in fact, last time we went the server didn't know my order (must've been new or not seen the old menu) but the chef told her about my special order and got it to a tee. Also, the time between ordering and getting your food is 5-10 minutes at most. About the food - phenomenal. The aroma sauce is to die for. Whether you go for burger night, lunch, or breakfast, there are great options for every palate. I recommend the double dragon or cowboy burger for burger night or the main road for breakfast. Another perk is BYOB for a small fee I think. Aroma Bistro has definitely won me as a customer for life. read more

Logic says I should give Aroma Bistro a lousy review. After all, the place is small and can get crowded. Why would I want to compete with you for one of the few tables? But the truth is that you can't get a better breakfast sandwich anywhere. I get the "Pot of Gold" - Bangers, eggs, caramelized onions, gouda on a bagel. Your choice of bagel but I suggest an egg bagel. My wife, who is not known as a breakfast sandwich fan, loves their rise and shine (Sautèed Spinach, egg, roasted pepper and mozzarella). They added more and more to the menu over the years, and if there is something you like or crave, then Aroma's offering will make everything right in your world. I go out to breakfast every weekday. About a year ago I found Aroma Bistro. Now I go there once a week. Although I usually order an egg white omelet at other restaurants , they don't cook omelets . Mostly breakfast sandwiches. But if you like lox and cream cheese on a bagel, this is the place to go, Sandwich is big, plenty of lox. If you order before 10:00 am coffee is reduced in price. I think combo price is less than $9:00. They don't make their own bagels so sometimes, your favorite bagel may not be available.. Always friendly service which you order at a counter. They then bring the food to your table. You do save also on tips. Limited tables inside. If weather is good, they have tables outside. They do lunch. I recently ordered a cheeseburger. As me and my girlfriend are Wethersfield natives, we spare no expense stopping into Aroma. Usually after work on Fridays will stop in and grab a bite to eat around lunch. Let me just say that the owners and the people who work there are great at what they do and the sandwiches and burgers whatever you want to eat are always top-of-the-line. One of the best restaurants in Old Wethersfield, Andre's/Aroma excels at being a coffee shop but I'm here to talk about burgers, yes, burgers at a coffee shop. The burgers here are the best I've ever had. I was telling one of my friend's once, "hey, you know who has good burgers? This place in Old Wethersfield called Aroma-" at which point he cut me off with "YES, THOSE ARE THE BEST BURGERS I'VE EVER HAD". This is a man who never gets excited about anything and he was beside himself talking about these burgers. They're only served during the late hours, Thursday and Friday nights I believe but they are a must-have if you're in the area. Even a simple cheeseburger is cooked with a perfectly toasted buttery bun, perfectly melted cheese, and the burger is cooked to your exact request with no charring or nasty crunch on the outside. He also has lots of options for specialty burgers, I try a different one every time I go! It's especially great in the summer as you are permitted to BYOB and sit outside on the patio by the sidewalk and see the evening life of Old Wethersfield and probably run into an old friend.
