Odd Bird: 8/10…read more Definitely worth your time and money! If we lived nearby, this would be a regular spot for us. The mojo chicken tacos were a 10/10, and the fries were so good! The Odd Burger was an 8.5/10, and the wings were a 7/10. I also tried a mango cocktail with crushed ice--an 8/10 and absolutely refreshing. I'm not much of a drinker and hadn't had a cocktail in over six months, but this one was worth it! The waitress was kind enough to share her favorite with me Shout-out to The host he was on point and super welcoming. 10/10 for the host!

The kicker, I was told, " I must not be from the "area" because folks here are ok with being touched and displaced by "The Girls!". So we left and will never return; told my finance that spot was definitely off our bar crawl for the wedding! Just upsetting that folks still act so pretentious and rude to people they don't even know! I felt targeted both racially and because of my sexual orientation. IT A LOCALS ONLY HANG OUT PERIOD! And the location is really cool - an old ice factory turned into a restaurant. Its industrial setting goes with the vibe. While the Saint Augustine trolleys cart people here, don't write this off as a tourist trap. It's one of the best restaurants in North Florida.

We walked in around 12 o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to sit at the bar with no challenges. Bar area is open seeing if you want a table you do have to check in. I started with a handmade Italian soda the ginger one and I love this because the ginger is very pronounced. It's very crisp and light. I also got an order of their soup of the season, which was a red curry. It was absolutely delicious. Had great flavor little spice at the end of it as well. For lunch, we split the fried chicken that comes with collard greens and whole cakes. The collard greens are by far one of the best that we have ever had. They use slab bacon and they're absolutely delicious. We've literally talked about them for years and they were just as good as we remembered. Fried chicken was nice and moist and the hocakes cakes were very sweet. For drinks, I tried one of the seasonal ones which was the witches of Eastwick. The gin based drink definitely was sweet, but exactly what I was looking for. My husband got an old-fashioned because they had black walnut bitters when he was really excited about.

Walking in, I loved the vibes! It gave modern tiki bar feeling, it was clean and felt very warm and inviting. We sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender and a very extensive and beautiful leather bound menu! I loved that haha! They had everything from classic tiki drinks, to modern, to drinks by liquor type, etc. It had the food menu, some information about the bar and how it came about. We ordered a few drinks: Bushido Rhapsody (DELICIOUS), Stars & Sarsaparilla (husband liked it) and their currently rotating tiki drink - Escape from Black Mountain, which serves 2 and is served in a cool mug of the bust of Pedro Menendez. You can purchase it as well! It was so good and felt never ending between the 2 of us drinking it. For food we ordered a couple of apps - Cajun Chicken Eggrolls and the Montenegro Meatballs. Both were fantastic!! If we didn't already have dinner plans, we would have stayed here for dinner! Definitely will be coming back here next time we are in town and every time after that!

I had maybe the most bibimbap of my life here, and that includes contenders from a number of restaurants in the Atlanta area. It was truly perfect. $8 for adding tofu (maybe 1/4 block lmao) is one of the funniest things I've ever seen financially, but hey it's a tourist area and it was absolutely made with skill & care, so I wasn't even mad. Seriously, I wanted to hug whoever cooked it. It is so worth it. Everyone else at my table was thrilled with what they got - burrata sandwiches and a fish sandwich. Not a good beer selection, it's very cocktail focused. Not my thing but yeah I will absolutely be back anytime I am in this wonderful city. This is not one to skip

He did say that was the best she crab soup he has EVER eaten and desperately begged me to try just a little taste, even though I can't have dairy. When he asked for a bite of my salmon I almost told him no, it was so good I didn't want to share. That was a first for both of us. Haha We are looking forward to going back.

We just sat on the first flooring dining area and were still looking out on the water so still wonderful. I had the river and fort burger and it was pretty tasty! Good flavor. Thick and juicy. The fryer was down so it forced me to branch out a little on my side. No fries for me - garlic smashed potatoes instead! Also good. My lunch companion had the BLT which was enormous and delicious. They have veterans united raging blonde available. Love to see a local partner, so that's what I had to drink. Our server was wonderful and the right amount of attentive. Excited to go back on a day when the fryer is up and the weather is better!

The restaurant is nice, but it's a bit cramped and there was a draft on the second level and on a cooler day it made it a bit uncomfortable. It's clean and well decorated though. The food reminded my wife and I of mid-tier hotel food. Or home-cooked food you'd get at a friend's house. A restaurant should be better, this was just average but still tasty. My filet was cooked to my liking and the seasoning was good. I had fries instead of the fingerling potatoes and they were nice, but I'd have liked it more if they were crispier. Also they were a bit heavy on the salt. My wife's short rib was salty, but lacked pepper, so she had to add some. Seasoning was an issue. We had heard good things, but the food wasn't bad, but was definitely average. This place is a touristy spot, and that's okay. We had a manager check on us before we left, which was nice. We'd already paid, so we didn't need to bring up any significant issues. Not bad, but not great either.

The Yucca Croquettes were good but 5 of them were $10 which is not worth it. The sides offered are tater tot's served with peri peri sauce and French fries. I asked if I could get the peri peri sauce with the fries they said yes but did not mention it was cost over a dollar. At the end of the day the views are nice, food is good but charging average of 30¢ more for each item than advertised with additional tax does not sit well with me.
