Chocolate Utopia an amazing dessert!

Fantastic food everytime, gracious staff and ownership, beautifal view of the harbor, what more could you ask for. My wife and I come hear regularly and I have to push my self to broaden my horizons and try other dishes each time otherwise i would get the miso flank steak everytime.(beacause its just that good. ) And today we had the decadent dessert "Chocolate Utopia". To die for! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Oven Roasted Stuffed Prawns

I went to Arnie's with my mother for Mother's Day. When I saw the majority of its customers were older people, I was right to assume that any seasoning other than salt would not be used. The service was fine, but I'm not one to really harp on that. I got the Oven Roasted Stuffed Prawns, which were fine but they had the shell still on them which made it difficult to eat without using my hands. The rice was also incredibly flavorless and at times I wasn't sure it was fully cooked. The vegetables had no seasoning to speak of. The crème brûlée, which they called a 'Burnt Cream' (making my eye twitch), was great though. Probably the only thing I had that I enjoyed, but I also love crème brûlée. Overall, it was fine but I probably will not return. Our meal totaled to around $150, which I felt wasn't worth what we got. This also includes an extra 4.8% surcharge that went entirely to the House, not the staff, which is the trend right now for Washington restaurants. 3 stars solely because I've had worse food and the crème brûlée was good.

Baja Baja Fish Tacos

Great atmosphere and a beautiful view! The service was great as well. The crab dip appetizer and calamari were amazing! The Baja tacos and fish & chips were good. Chocolate utopia was delicious. The key lime pie I wouldn't order that again. My experience was it had a strong tart taste and the crust was hard. Overall a great meal and will return!

Ask the Community - Arnies Restaurant Edmonds

Is do they have Happy Hour?

Is there outdoor seating available?

There are 4 tables outside, covered, with heaters overhead. It is suitable for as low as 45-50 degrees, cloudy or rainy weather. Might not work as well if it's very windy or cold. I've survived (but don't recommend) dining in freezing weather…

Does Arnie's do anything for a birthday?

Yes Arnies offers a complimentary burnt creme with a candle in it for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversary’s.

Does Arnie's have a brunch? Any brunch or bottomless specials? Going to be in town this coming weekend so if anyone has any recommendations for what meal I should aim for at…

Arnie's does have a Sunday Brunch. Their menu has a great range of selections to choose from. During the week they also have a really good happy hour menu.

We also had their fresh baguettes to start, which were warm and a good start to the meal. For our entrees, we ordered the surf and turf and the halibut with chimichurri. The portions were a really good size, especially the fish, I actually had enough to take some home. I also loved that their menu had a fall theme with fresh, seasonal vegetables paired with the dishes. It made everything feel really fresh and fitting for the season. For a drink, I ordered the Harvest Mule, which had a really nice spice and flavor. We ended the night with the fudge brownie, which was the probably enough to share between four people. Overall, highly recommend if you're looking for a nice dinner in Edmonds! I'd definitely recommend making a reservation a few days in advance, especially if you're going on a weekend.

My surf and turf sat in the window for a good 10 minutes while they waited for the seafood lasagna my partner ordered. Was offered to microwave it. Yeah, no, I don't want a $50 microwave dinner. Was offered a fresh cook but didn't trust it. We returned both items. Salt and Iron used to be a place for great drinks and food. Under new management the drinks are poor and the food lacks any decency. I'm very sad.

Food is absolutely amazing. The spring rolls are absolutely amazing and huge! For the boil, we got the special sauce (a mix of all the sauces) at a medium sauce since the kid was with us and it was great, she was able to eat it and said it was the perfect amount of spicy. I ordered a side of the extra hot and it was good, while not too spicy the build up definitely would be. We will be back to try more than just the seafood boil next time.

The restaurant has been opened since July 2025 and took over from the previous tenant, Dong Ting Chun. Hot Cajun Crawfish is a Vietnamese Cajun seafood boil restaurant, that also has Pho, Po Boys, Fried Seafood, and a cocktail bar menu arrangement. I highly recommend ordering seafood by the pound, as this was the main highlight of our meal. Our group ordered 2 lbs of crawfish, 2 lbs of clams, 1 lb of squid in their House Special sauce. This sauce was extremely buttery, rich, garlicky, and spicy! 2-3 stars (mild-medium) were much much spicier than anticipated, so spice enjoyers be warned. The seafood was fresh, served in stainless steel bowls, and piping hot. Everything was coated in the seasoned sauce and was well above expectations. Our group also ordered the seafood combination platter, the beef and tripe pho, seasoned french fries, and the lobster fried egg noodle. I was not a fan of the seafood combination platter (fried catfish, oysters, shrimp). The seafood was coated in this thick batter that texturally was mid and almost inedible. The seafood itself was just ok, with the catfish having a very strong aftertaste. The beef and tripe pho was just ok, good portion sizes, but it is not the main prize Hot Cajun Crawfish offers. The lobster fried egg noodle was surprisingly well seasoned, with a generous warm water whole lobster tail on top. I liked the seasoned fries, they were crispy and a good portion. I would come back just for the seafood boil bags, they were delicious and worth their price. Everything together for this party of 5 was $185 including tax and tip. Service was attentive, friendly, and food came very fast. We visited on a Tuesday evening at 6, and the restaurant was empty on this holiday week. Enjoy the pictures folks.

In long This place has great word of mouth and I'm glad I finally got to check it out. I tried 2 things, and, so far, the menu seems to be executed very well. The whole menu looks crazy promising, so this is an excellent sign. I came in for a late lunch on a summer Friday during World Cup. A few folks were watching the game--there were a handful of gasps for great shots and saves. But most of the scattered crowd was there for a leisurely lunch (or beer). They have a solid tap lineup with lots of dependable local favorites, and the tender knew quite a few people by name *and* by beer preference as soon as they sat down. Said she had been there over 5 years. Great vibe, lots of happy customers. It probably gets kinda loud in here when it's packed--you can tell from the photos that everything is concrete and wood and whatnot. No acoustic baffling that I could see. Easy to clean, though, and it was definitely just pleasant and sociable the whole time I was there. I got the Blue Burger with a cup of clam chowder. You can tell the soup is scratch, nice little dicing on the potatoes and veg, decent amount of clams. Comes with the oyster crackers that some of us have loved for decades. The burger is hearty--thick patty, thick stack of veg, squishy thickish bun. Easy enough to eat but without a doubt it's the opposite of a smashburger. I know, I know. This is a seafood joint. You can tell from the fake seagulls right by the front door. But it's been ages since I had a burger, and at least I tried the chowder. Everything was easily good enough to come back and see how the water side of the menu is. I was in and out for a fair price, and never doubted that everything would be very good. And that's exactly how it turned out. I'll happily be back.

Creative menu with really nice cocktails, a fantastic happy hour option and unique food presentations. Our favorite part of the meal was the Clam appetizer...one of a kind. Both my wife and I agreed it was the best clam dish we had ever had. Ordered the Wagyu but found out it was sold out...something to come back for. Went with the Pork Koji instead. It was good, but could have done without so much fresh dill...got a bit overpowering. Four stars instead of five because of a $4.10 fee (2.5%) for a "healthcare surcharge". I am seeing this more and more often at expensive restaurants and cannot express how tacky I find it. If the cost to run a business in Washington is 2.5% more than what you are currently budgeting for, then you need to increase your menu prices by 2.5% and be up front about it. This feels deceptive and frankly is a reason I avoid certain restaurants. I want to try this place again, but this fee makes me feel like I'm being scammed.
