Friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with a minor issue. We'll be back to fix a speaker. Thanks again!

They installed a car radio in my old car. There prices were fair and workmanship excellent. They expertise was obvious as I had been to several other shops and was given wrong information about the installation process and the compatibility of particular radios. Armando explained to me what works and what doesn't in my particular car. I highly recommend them. Richard W. read more

I am 100% satisfied with my experience with this place. So much so that I don't even care I have to drive 30 minutes just to get here. Super friendly staff, and very helpful. Definitely look like they know what they are doing. I came in to get a remote start set up with a Viper Smart Start module. I was a little apprehensive due to my bad experience with P.H.D Electronics on Cermak and Kedzie. However, I felt more at ease with all the glowing reviews. And they are not wrong! These guys helped me out with all the issues I had with my system, all with a positive attitude. They didn't charge me for helping me out either. After about 3 months my transmitter gave out and they replaced it for a new one. These guys are definitely here to help you read more

They do great work and stand behind their work. I went here to get a new deck and had a couple of issues during install and they stayed late to fix the issues. Highly recommended! read more

They not overcharging you. I would trust sending my family there and i will. read more

The guys at Armando Sounds are great! I stopped by today because I needed my radio repaired and they took care of it under 30 minutes with a lower estimate than they originally gave me. Really nice, too! Highly recommend. read more

I've always wanted alarm and remote start on my car, but didn't trust people to do the installation. I read reviews for Armando Sound and not even one negative response. So I decided to give them a crack at it and they did an excellent job for a decent price. Thank you guys read more

This place is phenomenal. I just left from the store. I was having trouble with my remote starter that I purchased a couple years. I thought somebody had broken into my cars and cut some wires.. Khalil quickly took my car in to check it out, without an appt and he said it was the antenna. He quickly fixed and refused any type of payment. These guys are all stars. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you fellas!! read more

-wanted a remote starter -checked yelp for shops with best reviews -ended up in choosing between armando sounds and another shop which also have good reviews -went to each shop to get a price quote for exactly the same brand/model of remote starter -with armando sounds they offer me $580 installed out the door price and would take 3 to 3.5 hours to install and "NO NEED" to give up any of my precious car keys :) ,good customer service, knowledgeable about all their products, very patient in answering all questions, will not push you to buy but will suggest the best options if you need their advice -went to "THE OTHER SHOP" who keep saying they are the very first "viper dealer in chicago" -this "other shop" is pretty much the same with armando sounds customer service i can see that they are good and honest people as well, but this shop for the same brand/model of remote starter offered $650 installed, would take 6 hours to install and need to give up a key :( but again im glad they were honest maybe thats why they still have a business for a long time now, maybe its just that armado sounds are better with all kind of electronic installations but for sure for window tints i will consider this "other shop" because most of their good reviews are from customers who had their car window tints in their shop :) -obviously i went with armandos for my remote starter :) -on the day of the scheduled installation im worried coz i remember that the other shop said that its hard to bypass my car's system that i will really need to give up a key for the remote starter to work and funny thing while waiting i checked viper's official facebook page and tried to confirm if i needed to give up a key and i cant believe that viper in their facebook page said that indeed i really need to give up a key! :( so i was just waiting for muhammad or who ever working on my car to tell me "ooooops ahhhh mmmm sorry but it turns out you need to give up a key and buy another module for it to work " but a big fat NOOOOOOOO they did not! meaning they were able to install it and make it work they kept all their promises except for the time LOL! they finished it a lot faster earlier :) i therefore conclude that "ARMANDO SOUNDS" is the BEST IN CHICAGO!! read more

Came by here for suggestions for two vehicles in need of sound. Got great suggestions and even where they didn't have a product for me they were happy to help me find on web and then install. I did, checked with them, dropped of car a couple days later, great install of bluetooth kit in an old Honda Accord. Couldn't be happier, these guys are great. read more

I decided to check this place out based on the Yelp reviews and it was not too far from where I was at. The transmitter for my Viper remote starter stopped working so I brought in a secondary one I purchased on E-Bay. I called beforehand about having it programmed and when I showed up Mohammed helped me. He was very friendly and had my replacement transmitter working within 2 minutes. On top of that he didn't charge me. What a great first impression! Thank you again Mohammed for the great work and service. Definitely a 5 star experience. read more

Great Customer service! Went here to get a remote start along with some led headlights and fog lights and I'm very happy with everything. If your looking for a remote start or any kind of vehicle customization this is your place! Drove over an hour to come to this place because of all the reviews and the reviews don't lie! read more

My car radio stopped working a few months ago. Took it to the dealership and was quoted $1000 or more to fix it. After that I was settled into fact that I will not have tunes in my car anymore. I came across Armando Sounds on Yelp. They received many great reviews, thought why not. Brought my car in one day after work 6:20 pm and by 8:00 pm I was driving home with my new radio, better than what I had before and I saved SOOOOOO much money! Friendly customer service, took the time to find out what I wanted, and fixed my car that day. Looking to upgrade your car stereo or need to get your old one fixed look no further then ARMANDO SOUNDS! Great place! read more

The guys over at Armando were great. I know this is a busy season for them but they try to accommodate as much as they can. What others share is 100% correct, they stand behind their works and take care of all customers until they are satisfied. I saw the guys working there patiently answering questions from a couple customers who didn't want to spend time reading the manual. Also they even went above and beyond to offer rides to a customer because the project took longer than expected. I purchase and install remote starter from them and the price is fair. It is worth it with their guarantee behind their work. read more

Fantastic customer service. Went there about two years ago to get a remote start and they were able to do it from my pushbutton start car which I know is kind of difficult. They got it done really fast and what's better, this year I guess the codes linking up the remote start to the car needed to be redone because it just so happens like that every once in a while ( though this was the first time in two years it happened to us) I brought it in and he fixed it really fast no problems. 15 and we were done. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for car stereos, back up cameras, or remote starts. read more

Great customer service! My review is for their location on Belmont. Its a long overdue review, I got my car stereo installed in Jul 2013. Ok so I came in with my daughter and was nicely greeted. I was using an Install card I purchased off AMAZON, it allows you to purchase car stereo installation in increments (almost like a cell phone card), it refers you to installers and sets you up an appt (NOW I AM NOT endorsing this product. Actually, read on and you will see how this is probably not the best form of payment). After stating to him those details and confirming my appt, he politely gave me a disclaimer about how it may not cover everything if I am missing certain parts. Ok I was fine with that because I had used the install card (was trying to give it a second chance this time) on a previous car and had to pay a difference which I was NOT TOLD ahead of time by that car installation company. So I appreciated him telling me that. Anyway, I gave him a Pioneer car stereo system I had purchased from elsewhere. Then we sat while the installation process began. He came back twice and I was not surprise to hear I was missing parts, a harness as well as a radio antenna. I honestly had about $20 on me and he told me the cost to get them both was $40. Sure enough when I had it in my mind things were not gonna get done, he offered without any hesitation to install them both for NO CHARGE AT ALL!!! WOW!! Not even taking the money I said I had?? I left a very satisfied customer and not feeling uncomfortable or cheap for that matter (most salesman will make you feel like that). Got outside as they pulled my car up, he even opened my door for me and showed me all the cool things my radio does (remember I said I didn't even by the radio from them!) This is to good to be true! Now I have plans to go back and get the keyless entry. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME COMING IN SO THANK YOU ARMANDO SOUNDS! Now you see who the real culprit is...Install Card! read more

Armando Sounds is the best. The owner is always so nice to work with. He installed a remote starter in my car. I was originally unsure whether paying the premium for the remote was worth it, but honestly you will not regret it. Fantastic customer service! read more

I found Armando's through yelp I wanted a car starter for my rav 4. I wanted a car starter that protects against grinding the engine if you accidentally turn the key once the car is remotely started. I called Armando's in the morning and they told me I could bring my car in that afternoon and that would it would take about 3 hours My appt was for 1pm. They started on my car right away. I waited in the store since I didn't have a ride home. The store only has 2 folding chairs but has a tv. Armando was very nice and offered me water several times. He was in the shop the whole time and greeted each person as they walked in the door I asked him about other types of starters which were more expensive. He did not try to upswell me or make me feel like my choice was not good enough. 3 hours later I got exactly what I wanted for less than I expected to initially pay. And another bonus is that he gives police and fire discounts. I highly recommend Armando's! read more

Purchased a remote start for my 2012 Odyssey in November '13. I came back a couple times because I messed up the settings on the remote and the guys at Armando sounds fixed it and were really nice about it. Had to come back in again this month as the battery on my remote start died. They replaced the battery at no charge! I came back in a few weeks later to install a remote start for my mother-in-law's Lexus. Have been very happy with their service and work and would definitely come back again. read more

I was there earlier today! Had a broken key fob thanks to my 3 year old. As usual Moe and Leo were quick to replace the unit. I was in and out within 15 minutes, programming and all. I can't say enough good things about this place. I have had terrible problems with my gremlin car alarm system and the alarm system recently made it sometimes impossible for my car to start without a bunch of steps and headaches. I called Armando because my car wouldn't start and the alarm wouldn't disengage. Armando walked me through all the steps and got my car started (something no one else could do). When I came in to have my alarm system disabled the guys in the shop took my car in right away, even though it was less than an hour before closing. They even returned the money I had forgotten on my seat! Armando gave me a very, very fair price and explained everything. Unlike other car shops, where I've been treated like an idiot because I'm female, the Armando's guys were helpful and respectful. I was in and out in under an hour, for a price that really blew my mind. These guys are just amazing. read more

I drove in for a quote for the installation of turn signal LED's, and was pleasantly surprised when they offered to do the installation ON THE SPOT with a labor fee that did not break the bank. The installation took some time, and resulted in some hyperblinking of the turn signals, but they were willing to go back in and install resistors to fix it! I am beyond satisfied with the service and will definitely recommend them to friends, and consider going back for all my modding needs! read more

What a wonderful team! Our Honda Fit just had all 4 tires and wheels stolen even with locks on ( hot item we then heard). I called and talked to Leo who was very knowledgable and helpful. We agreed on alam with tilt feature. The talented team installed it in about 3 hours. Mo helped when I came in ( they are delightful brothers). Leo gave me a tutorial and said do not hesitate to call with any concerns. We slept easy that night, knowing our car was safer ( and we had a display fob that would go off with info if car was messed with). We are so pleased I brought our Accord for the same installation. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Use them. You won't be disappointed! read more

I took my LX570 to Mohammed twice for installs. Nice guys, they run a great shop and do really nice work. They will upgrade your car and make it look factory. There's always some high-end vehicles (Aventador, Rover, Raptor) in the shop, so it seems they have a great reputation. This is where you should go for car stereo/alarms. read more

Perfection. I was replacing the factory installed stereo in a VERY old Volvo. On my first trip there I was told what types and sizes of speakers to get ( no pushy sales tactics at all ) and iPod tuner would work best. I also got incredibly reasonable quotes. I called 2x after the visit to ask further questions about sizes and depths of speakers and was always helped and had all my questions answered. When I did go in to have all my items installed, I was treated very respectfully and was even to ask a few other questions I had. The space inside is incredibly clean and neat. So waiting for 4 speakers and the tuner was no biggie since the HUGE tv screen was on. I walked out absolutely thrilled with the quality of work that was done ( they cleaned up after themselves, there was no sign of anyone being in the car ) and the price could not be beat. Good luck in the future Armando Sounds. You earn your good reputation. read more

Armando and staff are so wonderful. They take the time to actually listen and help you. They are never pushy and are quick. These guys are EXCELLENT!! I cannot say enough good things about them. I needed a remote start for my car. Not the most difficult thing to do, but something you want to ensure a trained professional takes care of. I called 3 other places and was given comparable quotes. The first thing I noticed that was different about Armando Sounds is that they A- gave me options (based on my description of my needs), , B- told me the difference between the options and C- told me what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. I decided that they were going to handle the job for me. What a great choice I made. The guys there were very nice, took good care of me and completed the job at the time promised. Additionally, they made sure they gave me complete details on how to use the remote start when the car was done and answered all of my questions. Further, they offered to help me out with any questions I may have later, regardless of how much time has passed since I purchased it. These guys are honest, dependable and take pride in their work. I would definitely come back here, as well as refer friends. read more

Great place that will fix up your ride without taking you on one. I brought in a new car system with speakers.
