While George, the owner was in the hospital, they had one of my cars for five weeks. When I got it back, I was charged for work that wasn't done was improperly done and then I was told George died. The new guy who took over , Chris Dixon and his girlfriend Donnie or Donna whatever her name is and Lisa the Polish girl that worked there told me they would take care of everything and now they permanently closed and they won't call me back and I 'm extremely angry. I'd like to hear some other experiences from people since I'm seeing they have a 2.3 star review. The old man is a trip. I had them install 2 Skar 12s in a q-bomb box. 2 amps and crossover. Rockford frosgate 1500 for subs and average amp for highs. 4 kicker 6x9s and box for it. Badass JVC screen. Since I have found this store over 20 years ago, I haven't gone anywhere else for my car alarm needs. They are the only ones offering life time guarantee. Can't beat that. I have had them fix my alarm a few times with no charge. Just remember to keep the receipt. They do great work. My jeep has had its alarm for over 15 years. It still works. If I could leave 0 stars, that is the first thing I would do. I had an installation scheduled for today, January 30th at 8am. I show up, to get told by a completely rude, horrible representative at the desk that no installation was scheduled, and do not do installation for interlock devices on Saturdays. I called the third party for the devices, and they informed that the device was sent to the location during the week, and installation was scheduled for today. The absolute worst place to go too! George is the main person, and I want him responsible for the whole situation. I want to make a whole complaint towards the business, and I want them shut down, as you could tell by the other reviews this place is horrible at service. After going to the big names such as Abt Electronics and Best Buy as well as the private businesses such as Armando Sound and Showtime Audio, I was left with a bill well over $700 for a 2 way paging alarm install with remote start and motion sensor for my car. This was about $300 over my price range. Low and behold, I returned to the trusted people at Mobile Audio and Alarm. They've been around for years and are very reputable. They've always advertised in the local papers and provide great service. With all the other places, they required a minimum of 5 hours for the install. This place had me in and out within 3. There is also a lifetime guarantee on the parts as well as the labor. Can't say the same for the other places. Though this place may not look as fancy as the other places I mentioned nor do they look as skilled, don't let that deceive you. They are as good as it gets when it comes to installing an alarm. read more

Beware of these Cheaters... Capable of doing the worst, beyond your imagination. Had a 4 channel amp and 2 sets of speakers installed in my car. Did such a crappy job that I had never expected. After a while found out that my crossovers and tweeters were missing from my focal K2P set that gave them to install. Just used factory wiring instead of new wiring from amp. In other words he just kept it there so that I can see everything but never did the internal wiring and connected them. If I had my receipt will drag them to court. Went back to ask what they did to my car. Said he has to find receipt and been doing this for the last 3 months. Such a reckless buggers. Never go to these people, they are F- - - - - G Hardcore cheaters. Had fixed my car stereo at some other guy did an awesome job, I have spent few hours sitting in my car trying different music. read more

Recently a friend of mine had her tires stolen off her car. The area was well lit but that doesn't seem to stop thieves anymore. Thank god insurance took care of it but it was decided to do more as far as security. After getting wheel lug nut locks (which are brilliant!!) from the dealership we thought it best to get an alarm too. They normally can cost a fortune but lucky for me I remembered a place by my old hood. Being a really nice guy I took her car there myself. Honestly I don't know what to say about the place. It's a little shady as far as looks and some clientele, but the techs do a get job and it's really affordable. The owner/ front office guy is a bit rough around the edges and might move back your car if you give him any crap. I personally didn't have any problems in the 5 hours I waited there but a few people got into arguments with the owner and a few "gang members" got into it with other "gang members" (I'm guessing on the "gang members"). It was all very excited. Bottom line is that they're cheap but do good work. Some tips... Get there as early as possible or you'll wait all day and keep your cool. read more

For my newest vehicle I had HIDS (high definition headlights) installed onto my Sonata And they completely removed the system and created there own wiring system and long story short, my whole system fried and I have to pay for a brand new head light assembly. NEXT the remote start the installed messed up my starter due to how it was installed. Same issue with my previous vehicle as well!! They just take your money and don't care what they do to it!! I took my car Nov. 2019 to get a remote start installed, everything was fine until I took it for a 2nd time prior to making an appointment with the lady which by the way is a nice person. When I got there I pulled toward the garage door and Paul came out without any manners screaming and yelling at me shouting "Lady you got to move your car!"etc., etc., I said to him that I had made an appointment and he shouted "I don't care with whom you made an appointment, you got park somewhere else! I said where do you want me to park? He shouted back "give me the keys, I will move it! he got into the car and starting pulling over to side. His behavior really angered me because I was nice to him until he pulled the keys out of my hand. At that moment I got loud at him and said "What kind of Customer Service is this? just because you are polish doesn't give you the right to yell at me, be nice to the ladies! and then he humbly replied.-I am. After that he took care of my remote issue in a very nice way. A month after the remote start started acting up it just wouldn't start and I couldn't lock the doors cause it would make the engine crank. Even though the remote is under warranty I didn't take the car back to him because of my prior bad experience. I was referred to another place by my mechanic and they found out a piece was missing on the original remote start. I ended paying $200 and I even got a screen remote start and a non screen spare one versus $234 paid at Mobile Audio for a key activated remote start. read more

in the last week It amazes me this place is still around. They patch things together for temporary fixes using parts they recover from.other installs and claim are new. The fine print about the lifetime warranty is only disclosed after you pay for the install... Mechanical actuators for door locks are not covered! Nor are the remotes, Or the components they used to make contact on my sliding door. They said only the module...You'll usually find the owner trying to figure out how to scrape off all the oxide that has formed on his antique remotes ( check the battery connectors in the remotes you received from this guy... Notice the razor blade scratches?) ... He installed my alarm into my car less than 2 years ago , today he tells me all that's an old alarm more than 10 years old and that the remotes are 90 dollars. Actuators are 85$ a door? Ebay sells a set with a new alarm for as little as 45 that covers 4 doors. This place is really expensive in the Long run.... Going.to stickwith best buy as I cant help but notice all the cars in here being fixed for.problems they created while installing.. Like a range rover whose fuel pump mmo longer works. Keep in mind my car has less than 20k miles on it n never had a light or a problem with it prior to then installing this alarm. Turns out they wired it wrong n burned out my abs module. The elderly man at the front desk, George, is super grumpy and only nice if you speak his native language. The woman is no help either, she just sits there and plays with her iPhone. Went back there and they said it was problem with the bulb and again charged me another $68 and did not do the repair. They charged me for something and did NOTHING. The new LED bulbs were never put on. They took my money, and I'm thinking they fixed it, but they never did anything.They are thieves!!! Don't Go to this place. I had a remote start put in her car one birthday many years ago. She liked it so much that she gave me one that Christmas. We've gotten new cars, & a remote start was the first accessory that we added. It's so nice to go out into a warm car, & if you can remember to leave the defrost on, you never have to scrape (chisel) ice off your windshield. Oh & by the way, mobile audio installed them for us. It became necessary to have an alarm put on my van, & took it back to Mobile Audio. They did a fine job, for a great price, however... "about an hour" was really closer to 3. That's the knock here. Don't go if you have anything else you'll need your car for that day. The waiting area is spartan, the chairs are upholstered in duck tape, & it always takes at least twice as long as advertised. Let them know you're not happy about that, & as one reviewer said, that gets you to the back of the line. Bottom line = quality products that are installed well for a great price but they are not considerate of your time. read more

Came in on Saturday to get a remote starter installed on my car. Dropped off my car at 10:30am and was told it would be 3 hours. At 2:30pm (4 hours later) I came back and was told it would still be an additional TWO HOURS! The owner and the lady at the front are the absolute rudest people I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
