He was very familiar with the parts that I bought online from Crutchfield. It was a quick turnaround time: I called him in the morning, dropped off my car, and was able to pick it up later that day. It's been maybe 6 months and the speakers are still working great! His price and turnaround time was very reasonable especially compared to other quotes that I got from businesses in the area. He's very professional and responsive via phone. When you go he may be working in the garage but just give him a call and he'll come out. He was very transparent about how long the install would take and I was happy with his same-day turnaround. Gold Sound did a superb job at my dash cam installation. They hardwired the camera system to the car battery (so I can do parking mode recording as well as not have to connect the power into the cigarette lighter) as well as hid all the cables. I had previously installed my dash cam but cables were a constant nuisance in my way, and when I looked up how to hide everything it was a very involved process that I couldn't do. Gold Sound even went above and beyond in hiding the back window cables, you can't even tell there's a camera back there. The owner Sung was also very nice and pleasant to me and my toddler son. Didn't think I'd be writing this kind of review for this place, but here I am. I just walked in the door right now and this all transpired a little less than an hour ago. I'm going to save some people some time, TLDR: They are straight up thieves and have absolutely no problems lying straight to your face about the work they 'completed'. I caught him red handed in a bold face lie with the equipment that he 'installed' in his cabinets while still in the plastic packaging. I went over to Gold Sound to get a a remote starter put on and my amp/sub installed along with a set of 6x8's. I had the install kit, bass knob, and all the wiring ready to go for him. All that had to be done was it to be installed. He quoted $700 after it was all said and done. I didn't even bat an eye at the price and he told me it'd be done in 4 hours. This is their job, this is what they do and I've had work done by them before. Get a call at 5:10pm informing my that my car will be done in about 20 mins. End up getting there and he is still messing with it. The first thing I notice was the wiring to my amp, subs, and off the battery were not the wires I provided. He told me they were too thick(It was a 4g that was recommended with my amp). He planned on keeping this kit that I purchased until I mentioned that I wanted it back. He instead used a $25 DB Link Audio amplifier kit with a 12g wire. After that I decided to pop my trunk to check the 6x8's I'm paying this person who just 'installed' them, and sure enough they were still the factory speakers.... Mind you he had all the empty boxes next to the car as if the 6x8's were installed along with my sub/amp. He was a great showman. Upon asking about the 6x8's he then told me that he installed them in the front. Problem with that is that I replaced those myself about a couple weeks beforehand and I was very clear and repeated myself numerous times that the rear speakers need to be replaced. Then when I asked for those speakers back, he very reluctant at first, but when pressed he proceeded to walk me to the back room to show me the speakers he 'took out' my front doors. They were the same speakers I provided them to install still in the plastic unopened. He planned on stealing those from me along with my amp kit. No qualms about it whatsoever with a straight face. When confronted, and knew he was caught, instantly out of his mouth "I'll do it for free! Set it up any day this week!' 'I've been in business 30 years!!' The best was: 'It was a miscommunication between you and my worker!' The only person I talked to was the same person who worked on my car. The same person who was ready to steal my equipment, money and ultimately confronted about it. I was completely blown away on how blatant it was, which means this isn't the first nor the hundredth time this guy has done it. Which explains why they only take cash as payment and it's all verbal contract for work. Again, I don't ever do this. I would normally just move on, but that was beyond ridiculous and people need to know this. If you've had work done at this place and haven't checked now is the time to look. If you don't know what you're looking for, take it to someone that does. I'll end up editing this review because I'm sure I'm going to find out that I have issues somewhere with the Viper Alarm I paid them to install. I haven't even had the chance to sit down and check out if that was done correctly. read more

Had a viper remote start installed and came out with the remote start and a working panic alarm Mr.Sung informed me well on the safety of the remote start and assured that the vehicle wouldn't get taken because the car will shut off and won't start.
