They updated my priority system, hardwired a new rear dash cam, and installed my Show N Go front plate holder, and they checked every detail along the way. What stood out most was how carefully they handled everything. They did not miss a thing. Any time a question came up or something needed to be explained, they took the time to talk me through it clearly and make sure I understood exactly what was going on. Jerry and his team did a great job of installing two customized head units with CarPlay in both mine and my wife's car. We wanted units that maximized screen size but looked like they were part of the car. My car is a 2014 Infiniti QX70 with NO TECH but now has a tesla style 14.2" screen with all the bells and whistles. My wife's car is a 2016 Nissan Rogue and now has a screen double the OEM size with CarPlay. She also had front and rear recording cameras added. Where to start... I had a good idea of what I wanted and after talking with Jerry, he designed a system that in the end blew me away. I asked for a SQ-L system in my Jeep and his crew knocked it out of the park. I am a "little" OCD about the details (I want it perfect) Hondo, Jerry and the crew wired my Jeep to perfection, nothing missed, looked exactly as it should: well thought out, pre-planned and perfectly executed. I got a few surprises: They created amp rack that housed the amps, relocated and incorporated the factory modules that occupied the original space. The rack is removable and snaps in like it was from the factory. Let's just say I was beyond impressed. The system is an active system, which requires a lot tuning to give you an accurate sound and sound stage. Again, they crushed it. The system sounds better than I expected and could have hoped for. Throughout the build they kept in constant communication with me, giving me updates with teaser pictures that kept my impatience at bay. The Showtime Audio Crew are extremely polite, professional, caring and made me feel like a family member. I called around (WI & IL) and talked to many audio installers and they just didn't have the confidence, knowledge and attention to detail that I was looking for. Showtime Audio did. I am a huge fan of Showtime Audio! Jerry the owner and his staff offer great expertise and service. I own an older BMW M6 and bought a Mr.12Volt adapter in order to upgrade the car to Apple-Play. Jerry and his staff took apart the dashboard and were well into the install when they realized I purchased the wrong adapter! Jerry called the 12-Volt folks and sourced the proper adapter for me and put the car back together for pick up and said "call me when you have the part." He had the opportunity to up-sell me on $1000's of parts that their shop sells and yet he helped me find the right adapter AND stuck to his original install estimate. My husband bought an off market infotainment system for my 2015 mini cooper as a present. Yah!! No (legible or conherent) instructions came with.... boo!!! Showtime and Jason to the rescue!! They are worth the money. They were not the cheapest qoute but definitely worth it. Jason and his team installed it beautifully and with care!! I even got my old system packed neatly back in a box. From the beginning, Jason kept I contact with me the whole time of appointment scheduling, reminder and install. AND.... he even followed up 2 weeks later to see how I was liking the infotainment system! ****** 6 STAR EXPERIENCE (AFTER ALL)!!! ****** I visit this store at the end of August 2017, to install the back dashcam of the Blackvue DR650S-2CH. I was able to install the front camera by my self but just because I wasn't able to go through the interior of my car all the way back, I was looking on yelp for a place that have good reviews, because I have a new Audi TT 2016 and I want a clean/professional install. So based on the reviews, I decide to go with Showtime Audio store. Long Story, Short: I had to upgrade my dash-cam and I've noticed some things that I really didn't like. I left a HUGE detailed bad review (with one star of course) and Jerry V., the owner replied and asked me to get in touch with him. (As you can see below). So I did. He invited me in to take care whatever detail I don't like. Couple days later I went back. I will tell you this. All those good reviews you see below and probably above mine soon, are all true. I was pissed off and thats why I left the bad review but I have to tell you, JERRY, the owner, is my guy and he will be your guy too. At the end of the day, I felt bad for the bad review cause I could call back and let them know what's my problem. But this guy Jerry, he is way too professional and most of all a human being. He knows how to take care his customers and he's business. He took care of me in person. This review is way shorter from the bad one, but its not b cause now I'm happy. ********update on my review. I took my car into the dealer, the hack job Showtime performed on my car caused a short in the module to my car. I had to pay $1,100 to undo what these people did. Lesson learned in after market installs. I had new headlights installed on my car, just over a year later they are burnt out. Crappy quality of product. Nice people, but I'll go directly to the dealer for new headlights. I'll pay more but they'll most likely last a few years more than what Showtime provided me. They weren't even the right ones in the first place. read more

This is my 2nd review for Jerry and the team at Showtime Audio after having work done on a second car. I recently purchased a 68 Mustang and wanted to add some updated features while not taking away from the vintage look of the car. Jerry and his team installed a large screen radio w/ Apple CarPlay, bluetooth, and a rear camera and built a custom box to house the radio that went underneath the dash and blends in perfectly. When I finally spoke with Jerry--he could not have been nicer. I decided to stop by and speak to him in person. "Then I let the Alpine play!" I found Showtime Audio when I was still in DC. I had been suffering from a broken aftermarket double-din stereo for over a year in my Porsche. But no one in DC was competent enough to either fix it or replace it with a new system, especially without paying significant $$$. After knowing that we were moving to Chicago, I found on Yelp that Showtime Audio has a solid 5 stars on Yelp. Was I surprised, excited, and skeptical? Yes, all of the above. I couldn't be happier with the outcome... I had a very specific idea for a very custom install of a Beltronics STi-R Plus Radar Detector on my Scion FR-S. I wanted it to be completely integrated in the car, and completely hidden (for legal issues in some countries/states). I described every "seemingly impossible" idea I had, and they made EVERYONE of them work. The work they do is top notch, this guys know what they're doing. I had to add to the great review I've given Showtime Audio in the past. I specifically want to mention their customer service and communication. I had an Apple Airplay stereo installed in my Hyundai Elantra Touring. After it was put in, they realized they ordered the incorrect kit for it. They made things fit the best they could, and let me know they would order the correct kit and install it for free, though it cost *them* to do so. It would be a few weeks. I called for an appointment to come in for that work, but they didn't have room on the calendar for quite some time. (Other people know how great this place is!) Their woman at the front desk said she'd let me know if an appointment became available sooner. Yeah right... But then SHE DID! She texted me about an appointment sooner! I got in within a few days and the install looks perfect now. If you go anywhere besides Showtime for audio work on your vehicle, you're NOT going to the best place in town. read more

I originally spoke with Jerry, to set up an appointment for a new system to be installed in my car. Jerry looked into the details, called me back and outlined 3 additional options which allowed me to 1) retain the original radio/dash configuration, which was important to me as this is a classic Jaguar, 2) get all the newer (Bluetooth) capabilities I was interested in and 3) saved me hundreds of dollars from what the original plan would have cost! This is great service and customer help. This will be my recommended and "go to" Update- just had the new pieces installed and then I was shown how to use the Bluetooth system. The installation is beautiful and looks as though it was all OEM. The hands- free is awesome, and I couldn't be happier! Well, I could be- I needed a longer drive home to keep enjoying this!! Second time coming here and I gotta say these guys are amazing. I had two remote starters set up by them. My first car was a white 2015 toyota corolla. It got totaled due to a parked hit and run :(. So I decided to get a remote starter on my other car 2015 Lexus gs350. Amazing job on both remote starters. Worked out perfect and great. I gotta say these guys do professional work and are reasonable in price. I would highly suggest coming here for any remote start jobs. That is not all they do either though. They have so much services. Pretty much anything you want to customize on your car. These guys do it all.
