I went to S&A Security Specialists and was looking for a remote start. I spoke to Tony who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Tony explained all their devices and found the right one for my vehicle. Steve and his partner installed it on my 2005 Honda and I am absolutely loving it. The whole installation was about 2 hours long. These guys are reasonable and honest. I would highly recommend these guys to install tour remote start / security system for your vehicle. read more

I'm extremely grateful & happy with the service I got today from Tony & Steve. Very professional & transparent.

Got the compustar t13 and IGLA installed on my car. They were able to get me in same day. They were quick. Price is fair. They are clear with explaining each item. When it came to learning how to use it, it was clear and easy to learn as they explained everything very well. I highly recommend going here for any anti theft needs for your ride. read more

I have had two highly sought vehicles worked on by Steve and the team, installing IGLA and other theft deterrent measures in each case. There simply isn't a better place to trust your vehicle to. Steve, Tony and everyone else there has a wealth of knowledge and will take care of your specific needs. As of late, our city has become a haven for auto thieves, and the team at S&A will stop them in their tracks. I wouldn't trust my vehicles to anyone else. A+, best I've ever worked with. read more

This place is amazing. They are reasonably priced . I called everywhere for a quote before I found them. The owner and Tony were so kind, knowledgeable and truly care. You can't go wrong taking your car to S&A for a security system. My tilt sensor went off a bout a week after installation having the alarm installed saved me. I called Tony to ask about the sensor going off and he gave me some amazing advise on how to even protect my car further . This place is the best !! There is no cost for the piece of mind you receive getting your alarm system installed there . Call them now you won't regret it. read more

S&A Autosound Security Specialists with Steve Labello and his staff have been my 'go-to' for security protections for two of my past two auto purchases, and I would wholeheartedly endorse those services by S&A! Steve and his staff are security professionals who are highly competent, friendly, responsive, communicative, and cooperative! Costs have been very reasonable, and I have been able to schedule the service and wait on-site, while the work is done. Driving out with an enhanced level of security has been very beneficial to me. Steve and Tony helped me out with my Compustar remote issue. Steve had one in stock that he was able to sell me at great price and program seamlessly. Steve even troubleshot the issue of my remote not engaging the trunk release. He uncovered previously issues from the original installer and corrected them in a professional manner. These guys are the example of service and execution! Highly Recommend!! read more

Steve did an amazing job on my vehicle. Moving back to Chicago after living in San Diego for the last 14 years is rough so when he posted that he had an open appointment to install a remote start in the middle of my first true snowstorm in years, I jumped at the chance. He had everything installed, quickly and neatly in under 30 minutes. He patiently explained to me how the system works since I've never had a remote start before. He was courteous and professional and will now be my "go-to" guy for all my remote start needs for my future vehicles. I plan on happily recommending his shop services to all my family and friends. Thank for being so awesome and efficient. read more

This review is a bit overdue. I had a Pioneer head unit installed in my Envoy a few years ago. Had an issue where somehow I got locked out of it - a pass code was required to "unlock" the radio. After quite some time of trying to research and do it myself, I ended up bringing back to Steve who knew exactly what the issue was and how to resolve it. 10 mins and he had taken care of it for me. Another time recently, I had an issue where my car wasn't starting. I brought it to my mechanic who diagnosed it as the starter. After replacing the starter, all of a sudden the cars starts but the radio wasn't functioning. No idea why that was but I brought it back to Steve again. He quickly diagnosed it as a bad relay (the radio was already 5-6 years old at this point - well out of warranty). This relay could also prevent the vehicle from starting. Steve didn't have the needed relay in stock but was able to get a hold of one within a couple days. He managed to get the old relay replaced under warranty and only charged me for the shipping of the new one. He installed it quickly and all was good again. Steve is a class act. He will take care of you and your car and always provide a fair price. Not many like him around anymore. Hopefully he will continue to be around for years to come. I'll continue to take my car(s) to him and support his small business. read more

I was very much in need of a car alarm as well as a remote starter, and how glad I am.i came across this place. I first have to start off by mentioning Steve he's a great owner who definitely cares about his business as well as his work. He is very easy to talk to, and was patient and accommodating even with all of my questions. And although I'm not sure how he does it but he is done exactly in the amount of time he says he will be done. It's not too often now a days that you find a business that stands behind their work and believes in quality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need or want of a good car alarm, some tint, or a good sound system. Thank you Steve for being a pleasure to work with. read more

Not sure how the hell I ended up here!? They open at 10, I beat them all & was able to get in at 10:20. Place & employees are ghetto in appearance. Whole store is gated & locked up tight! Bad neighborhood perhaps? This sounds bad already, but never judge... Anyhow, I was quoted 100 flat to install my Viper 350, basic install. Started on my car at 10:30 & was out before noon. Received lifetime warranty on installation & 1yr on parts. Though thuggish like, employees are likeable & cheerful. Happy with my experience & would recommend to others. read more

First and foremost, let me start by saying how wonderful Steve is. This guy truly goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure you are satisfied and everything will work as stated. I have previously had my 2007 Honda Accord done with him that included tints, new radio, new speakers, and subwoofer install. It sounded amazing! I have upgraded to a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara and knew he would be my go to guy. His prices are unbeatable. I called all over Chicago pricing around and he beat everyone. I HIGHLY suggest you do the same. He will be realistic on what he can and cannot do for you. After installing my remote starter, about three days later my Jeep would not start. Steve took the time to figure out the problem, as I thought it was his, and it turned out it was my battery. He walked with me to Walmart and then installed the new battery to make sure every worked as installed. He didn't have to waste his time knowing it had nothing to do with his work, yet he took the time to help me out. Other people have mentioned their appearance as being thuggish but nonetheless he knows what he is doing and his work is EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL! He is very knowledgable and skillful in his craft. Give him an opportunity and I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. I mean, look at his high ratings.... they're there for a reason. FIVE STARS ALL DAY!!!!!!! read more

These guys know what they are doing! I took them my car for a remote starter and the installation was flawless! Great customer service--Steve really takes his time and does it right the first time! This is where people go to get their hack job installs fixed! Do not hesitate to bring your car here for alarms, sounds and tints. A+ job to Steve and the crew here. Thx! read more

I totally recommend Steve for your auto stereo needs. He is very helpful and does great work. I was looking for something flashy and cool. He recommended something better that fit my price range and supplied what I needed and not what I wanted. I feel very comfortable with sending friends and family to his shop. He will do a great job at a fair price. Get rid of your factory stereo and upgrade to a better stereo your vehicle. Steve is a good guy!!! Thank you Pedro Bosques read more

When a company says it specializes in security car alarms, you normally just think of it being just that, but in fact, Steve at S&A is so much more than that. I called because I was recommended by a relative who knows that I am particular about my vehicles and how they are handled. I was greeted on the phone by Tony, Very professional and transparent. When I brought the vehicle to them, I was operating with out of pocket funds (limited) The Insurance company which We had been paying into since 2016 had failed us and not held up to there end of the bargain! But you know who did? STEVE! Ever time I came to this business, they not only met my expectations but exceeded them. When I left the shop yesterday. The word "God sent" came to mind. His prices aren't the cheapest, but he works with integrity and he truly values his customers! (He goes above and beyond!) And you can't put a price on that. Thank you Steve, Tony, and Jaun. You are the Best! If only these insurance companies and auto body shops worked with the same level of efficiency and integrity as your business, the world would be a better place! read more

Steve is a really nice guy. Even though he wasn't able to accommodate me at the time I inquired about his services, he took the time to point me to a shop where he felt they would be able to assist me with my car audio project. Thanks for going above & beyond. Very much appreciated. read more

This guys are amazing, they installed my alarm in no time and the prize was right . I'm going to bring my girls car to get alarm with remote start installed next week. First impressions are everything. I sent a mass email to several dealers to get a quote on a simple backup camera install. Steve, the owner of S&A Autosound was the quickest and most responsive and detailed with all of his responses. Normally I take all my work to ABT Electronics but Steve made me a loyal customer. The quality of work that him and his team did with my car was exceptional! I will definitely refer him to my network of friends friends and family who are looking to do anything to their car. read more

I went here based upon positive reviews to finish an aftermarket car radio installation after I realized I was "over my head" First class service at about half what I expected to pay. These guys did a GREAT job on my Toyota FJ Cruiser. I had a Viper 5902 security system installed as well as a Rockford Fosgate amp and sub. They did it in about 2.5 hrs and it is a very clean install. They were very honest and didn't try to sell me on anything other than what was legitimately needed to get the job done. They actually called during the install to tell me that after looking further into my car that one of the parts was not needed- definitely honest people. For the additional parts that were needed, they gave me options and explained the differences. The prices on the parts AND service were competitive. They have also been very receptive to any questions I've had post install. Highly recommended read more

I needed another remote key and key fob for my car after losing one and then getting locked out of my car. I called around and got a few quotes. The dealership wanted 3x as much as S & A. Steve was very polite when I called and explained all the options to me. He promptly ordered the parts and got me in the same day they arrived. He was very polite even though he was quite busy when I arrived. The waiting room in the front of the shop was very clean. I waited about 45-60 minutes, which was very reasonable. I'll certainly go back AND will definitely recommend S & A to others. read more

Car: Hyundai Sonata 2015 2.0T Limited I couldn't be happier. I was first introduced to my installer, Steve, while browsing YouTube. He was featured in a video (sorry can't find the link) and from it, you just knew he has been in the sound industry for quite some time. At the time, I was looking for quotes for my installation since I had most of the components of the mods (speakers, subwoofer, cords, amp, etc.). I was looking for someone in the Chicago area that could install the parts that wouldn't make me cry a river into my empty wallet. I've spoke to several installers before I called S & A Autosound just to get a feel on how much I would be charged. When I finally called S & A Autosound, I got Steve on the other line. The phone call went smoothly and he asked for me to bring the materials over to him for a better idea on a quote. I complied, and drove out to see him. When I got there, he looked my stuff over and gave me an estimate that I thought was reasonable for what the job entailed. I called later that week to set up a day for him and we followed through with our plans. I simply dropped off my car at 10 AM and got it back the same day. Now for the quality of his work, it's amazing. I wouldn't have been able to make anything as clean as how he put together his vision for my components. He wired everything clean and show car worthy. He tuned my amps with my speakers, so there wasn't any clipping feedback. My car's engine bay had a clean install as well from the battery power source through the firewall into the cabin area. There was minimal wire exposure throughout the cabin that made this customer grin from end to end. There was a small bump in the road that Steve fixed immediately. My car came with parking sensors that relied on a speaker to output the noise when I got too close to a car or object as I reversed. We didn't know that we had to wire in a speaker for that sound to emit, but Steve took me in the following day after the main installation, and fixed it right away. After that minor adjustment was fixed, the car was on the road and ready to jam away to any tune. I couldn't have been happier with how well this process went. Some businesses will try to surcharge you more for bringing in your own material for an install, but not Steve. If you want quality work, I totally recommend bringing your components to him. Also, make sure to check out his Hyundai Elantra. It's pretty sick! read more

I was searching for a remote starter for my car, and I came across this business on a google search. They were competitively priced and had solid reviews on google+. In addition they had a coupon for 20 off on the website. I called s&a and was able to get my car in same day. The owner told me exactly what he had lined up for the day and what time I could expect my installation to be complete. I brought it in and and he got my car done quicker than promised. When I arrived he walked me through all of the features and details I need to know about my remote starter with great attention to my questions and concerns. So far the starter works great, and I will report back to Yelp if I have problems. Without me asking the owner assured me I can call him if I do and all problems will be solved through him. The place is not in an ideal location. When you walk in initially, you may feel a bit worried about your selection. This is clearly not a Corporate chain. If you are willing to take a chance you may find what I did: a job well done with a passionate business owner who takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work. read more
