After calling in and asking them about it, they provided me with the solution (the trunk does not open with the engine running). Outstanding service. They replaced the factory radio on my 2013 cruise. They did a careful, thorough job. I called in the morning and was able to bring it in at 4pm. They said it would take 2 hours but it was more like 2:30. I was fine with that. They had an unexpected issue which was explained, and they stuck to the second time estimate. This is strictly a review of their online presence. I went to their website and submitted a request for a bid, with detailed info on my car and what I wanted installed. I even included links to items on amazon. I wait. No response. I call up. Someone answers. I ask whether he had received my request. He told me he wasn't the guy who did that. I asked if I could speak to that guy. "He's not here right now." Further talk leads nowhere so I ask when I could speak to this guy. "He's on vacation." "When's he coming back?" "I dunno. He's overseas." Boy was my leg hurting. I tried to explain to him what I had but then he interrupted me and said that he was working on something else "right now." I gave up. This is a good place to come and get your sounds done from cd players to double dins and flip down tvs alarms tints anything you need done to your car. Armando Sounds installed a system in my 91 olds a couple of years ago and I was very happy with their service. They were fast and didn't push me into a more expensive system than I was looking for. Today I stopped in with my new used car. It has a great stereo system already installed, but I couldn't get the added iPod connector to work. I stopped in and one of the guys came out and figured it out for me. He spent about 15 minutes with me and found the secret switch and now I can play my iPod in the car again!!!! I will NEVER go anywhere else for my car. I just HAD to take the time out to sit my behind down and write this before I left the house today. When I saw these other five star reviews just now, I was not surprised. These guys are awesome in EVERY way! They are all friendly, patient and professional. I decided to have a sound system put in a few weeks ago and drove by places to compare prices. These guys were very patient with me. They spent time making sure that I got what I wanted in a system and were very upfront about pricing. They weren't trying to get me to buy more than I needed. They made it clear that they don't use low quality wiring and equipment, which is why some other place may appear cheaper. Still, they are not expensive, especially for what you get. Man, am I happy that I went here! They did a great job, and I was not sitting there waiting all day. I let them know that I had to work that evening and they got me in and out pretty fast. After about a week, I felt I wanted him to tweek the bass a bit, with no hesitation he told me to come by and he got it just right for my liking. He is a true perfectionist so he is not happy unless you are happy. The other day I returned to purchase and install a tuner for my Sirius XM. The price was nice and the installation was great. There is absolutely no reason for me to go elsewhere. They know what they are talking about and they know what they are doing. I guess they don't need the business. I went there Monday morning because my car radio was not working. I read positive reviews and they were not far from me. I walked in Monday morning and was told that they were to busy and to come back the next afternoon. I went Tuesday afternoon and again was told they were too busy to look at my car. I mentioned that I had been told to return the day prior. The guy who originally told me to come back recognized me and said to wait a minute and they would look at car. Had quoted me a price, well when they were done they charged me about 45.00 less than the original quote, reason was "it was easier than anticipated". That blew my mind! This is my 1st time writing a review on yelp but I felt that Armando Sounds deserved a positive review for the great work they did. I had a Sub installed in my wife's car for her birthday. Khalil was very nice and informative from the 1st time I arrived at the store. Armando allowed me to put the Sub on layaway which was very convenient for me and helped me out from a financial standpoint. The day of my installation appointment I came in, paid off my balance and they went right to work. The installation process took an hour longer than I was initially told which isn't TOO bad but it made things a little difficult for me as I waited there the entire time AND I made birthday plans for my wife scheduled around the initial installation time frame I was given of 1 1/2 to 2 hours. When the installation was completed I noticed a loud "buzz" coming from the speaker. An additional part (free of charge) was added to correct the problem. As I was leaving I noticed that the buzzing sound stopped but now you could barely hear the speaker. Not to mention my turn signal had now mysteriously stopped working. I was running late for an event for my wife's birthday so I didn't have time to have them correct it at the moment so I came back later that evening where Armando Sounds made all of the corrections that was needed and got my turn signal back working again within minutes. Although mistakes were made, I believe Armando Sounds still deserves a 5 star rating for these reasons. From the initial point of contact Khalil and (I believe his brother?) Mohammed were VERY nice & VERY professional. The installation was clean and the Sub was mounted in the trunk beautifully. It looked very professional. Although there were multiple problems initially, they kept working on it until it was done right. And the most IMPORTANT thing through all of this is that the Sub sounded GREAT and my wife LOVES IT!!! She showed off the Sub on instragram/ twitter / facebook. lol I'll definitely continue to do business with Armando Sounds and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. These are the some the best business people I've dealt with in years. Restores your faith in humanity! My husband gave me a remote starter for Christmas a few years ago and they installed it. We took it back a month later as it wasn't starting all the time. They fixed it for free with a great apologetic attitude. After my cat converter got jacked, I wanted an alarm system installed as a preventative measure to have these punks steer clear away from my car. Having fallen victim to the same crime, the owner was able to empathize with me and offer a product that not only deters potential suspects, but keeps my car warm and toasty for the winter months. He suggested adding an additional sensor that sits right on top of the converter, so if any unsuspecting rodent - human and non-human- chooses to take shelter underneath my SUV, it will go off. Not only were these guys personable, honest, and entertaining - their pricing was fair. I came in with another company's quote, and these guys not only pointed out additional features/warranties that they were able to offer, but their customer service made me feel a lot better knowing my money was going to good guys - (AND they even further discounted their original quote!) These guys are great. I called and asked for a quote on the phone they gave me a great estimate and I took my car to them. They were installing 6x9's, a subwoofer, amp, and cd player. The price was great over the phone and once completed the price was the same as the estimate. Which is rare these days. I took it there right when they opened and asked if I wanted to wait (they are that quick). I had something to do so I picked it up a few hours later and everything worked perfect and sounded great.
