She was very professional and she explained everything she was doing while checking my eyes thoroughly. I needed glasses, so a different tech walked me through various options of frames, features etc. I ended up paying $667 for the whole enchilada, which I thought was about right. I think you'd be smart to check them out. Most of the negative reviews were written in anger and frustration, probably due to those patients' negative outlook.

I was frustrated at first since my previous pair (completed at another Target Optical) did not feel right. Dylan, Kaylyn and Nikki provided excellent customer service and helped us with professional knowledge and great patience. Unfortunately, after multiple experiences, I will not be returning. The office management, communication, and attention to detail have been consistently terrible. The first time I got glasses here, I ordered them through the office and came back to pick them up when they were ready. As soon as I put them on, the prescription felt extremely strong and wrong. I mentioned it to the front desk and was told that because it was my first time wearing glasses, I just needed time to adjust. I had somewhere to be, so I left and tried to give them a chance. After a full day, it was obvious something was wrong. I went back and explained the problem, only to have an employee insist that they couldn't fix it because I "didn't get my prescription from them." This made absolutely no sense because this was the only eye doctor I had gone to, and I had literally picked up the glasses from their office two days earlier. After I finally convinced him to look into it further, they discovered that the prescription was significantly off. New lenses had to be ordered, which meant waiting another two weeks. My next eye exam went fine, so I continued coming here. At my most recent appointment, I was scheduled at 10 and needed to be somewhere at 11:30. I specifically asked the front desk about the timing and was told I would be fine. I didn't end up leaving until around 11:40. Then came another communication issue with my new lenses. My appointment was about a month ago, and I realized I had never heard anything about them being ready. I called twice with no answer and left a voicemail. I called again around 12:30 and finally got through. The employee checked and told me my lenses had been sitting there since the 15th. When I asked why I hadn't been notified, I was told they had sent a text. I checked my messages again--nothing. It turns out they texted my mom instead. I am over 18, do not live at home, made my own appointment, and received my appointment reminders on my own phone. I also specifically told the office when I left to text MY phone number when the lenses were ready. Somehow, they still contacted my mom instead. And now, the final straw. I picked up the lenses but didn't have my frames with me at the time. I took the lenses home and went to another Target Optical closer to my house to have them put into my frames. The employee there looked at them and told me, "Yeah, these aren't the right size." Seriously? After waiting a month, not being properly notified that my lenses were ready, and finally picking them up, THE LENSES DON'T EVEN FIT MY FRAMES. At this point, I genuinely do not understand how an optical office can mess up my glasses this many times. Between the incorrect prescription, poor recordkeeping, contacting the wrong person, failing to properly notify me, and now giving me lenses that aren't even the correct size for my frames, I've had enough. I really do like the doctor, which is the only reason I continued coming back after the earlier problems. But four separate issues involving something as basic and important as my glasses is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and based on my experiences, I would strongly suggest going somewhere else.

They run pretty efficiently (from our family visits) and for my annual eye exam, I was done in about 30 mins. Dilation can still be done but with my busy schedule, I opt for the Optomap imaging and pay a bit more (~$25) as getting dilated & dealing with it all day is no longer doable. We needed to get some prescription sports sunglasses for the runner in the family. They carried a few of the Prescription Oakley of interest so it was good to go in and physically try them on (unlike online). To be clear, they were not cheap, but we reviewed all the options (tint color, reflection, etc...) and I have to admit, they look pretty sweet!!

Dr. Viglotti was extremely thorough and explained everything he did during the exam so I completely understood my situation. At the time of check out, Stan took very good care of finalizing my visit. He answered my questions and did not make me feel rushed. They have an extensive selection of eyeglass frames to choose from when I go back to get my script filled and had several specials posted. I left without receiving service and with the impression that customer insurance concerns are dismissed as an inconvenience rather than handled with the attention they deserve.
