I was told over the phone that my eye exam charge would be at the promotional rate of $75 (half price). I asked for that rate to be noted in the text that confirmed my appointment. On 3 separate calls i asked for that to be done. Each time i was told that they would comply. They never did. In fact the third person I talked to hung up on me. I had been polite each time. In fact, I'm always polite as can be. After they hung up on me, I called back to cancel my appointment and, admittedly, that time I used some choice words. I won't be using their services. I give them the lowest marks for customer service. I do not recommend Lakeshore Optical. read more

This place worked a miracle for me! I am going on a trip to costa rica, late last week my glasses broke unexpectedly. I have special lenses that need to be ordered. I came in last friday, got fitted, and they were able to have everything ready Wednesday, just in time for me to leave today! Usually this process takes 2 weeks minimum at other locations. The gentleman there quickly and empathetically answered my calls for status updates, and even texted me the morning they were delivered to give me the good news. I got to meet the owner who seemed very knowledgeable and professional. I felt very comfortable and taken care of here, and the glasses turned our great. Will be getting my glasses here from now on. This guy doesn't provide the prescription as he's NOT a doctor. He wanted me to pay $75 for measuring the size of my eyes and then order through him. He couldn't even tell me if my prescription changed, "we are about to find out". I told him I'd rather have a prescription and order my contact lenses online. Busch claims to have the lowest, "manufacturer", prices. However, for Acuvue Advance, he charges $30.99/box, while you can get them online for $20-$24/box. Very poor customer service. He didn't have a desk assistant, when I visited him. Every time phone rang, he'd get up and leave me during the appointment. read more
