They were charged full adult price ($70 plus each) for their mani and pedis, unlike before when Sarah would give kids special pricing under $40. Their services were rushed and not as good as before. Definitely less courteous and much more rushed. I also got a spa pedicure, and while drying my nails at the end the male nail tech gave me a massage. I asked if it was included and he nodded yes. However, when it came time to pay the bill the new owner had the audacity to charge me extra for it. After arguing with her over this dishonest and misleading sales practice they took it off the bill. I also had a small gift certificate from 6 months prior and the new owner laughed at me saying it was old and couldn't be used. I let her know Sarah gave it to me to use anytime for up to a year and she scoffed. The new owner is condescending and lacks courtesy and professionalism needed to retain her neighborhood clients. I quickly called Saturday morning expecting them to say that they were booked for the day, as Saturdays are usually very busy in the salon world. The nice girl who picked up the phone said that they had an opening at 9:45 and to come on in. I went in for my appointment which was super easy to find. Park around the back and Paris is up the back stairs to the right. I was greeted by a very cheery blonde girl with beautiful hair named Isabella. She brought me over to her station. The reason why I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that the chairs at the salon are very small. I admit that I have gained a little bit of weight in the past year, falling in love can do that to you, you know. The chairs are very pretty, but only the small can truly fit into them. They look comfortable with big leather arms and I was not comfortable. I was not about to say anything to them at the time for fear of embarrassment, but wanted to let you all know. I just wanted to point out that if you are larger that a size 10, you may find it difficult sitting in the salon chair. Everything else went well, Isabella did a beautiful job on my hair, and even finished off the do with a cute braid in the front. She was great at making conversation, and I was in and out in 30 min.
