The most important thing in a nail salon for me is cleanliness and Nail Plaza maintains a very clean salon. I love the disposable liners in the pedicure tubs. I don't know why every salon doesn't have these. I only know of one other place and it's my go to salon in Boston. The salon is also very sunny and doesn't smell like fumes like other lower quality salons I've been to. Everyone here is super friendly and very sweet. Today I had trouble finding a deep red that I liked and they are very willing to test a bunch on colors on my nails until I found one. The quality of both the manicure and pedicure are very good- I always leave happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

My daughter would pick out The most technical and crazy designs that she would find on the internet; she would be delighted when they achieved the same results. She was always thrilled and elated with her nails, the look, and the amount of time that they would last. Her nails were always strong and vibrant. She bought me a gift certificate so I would try. So now-I too have been coming here to Vnails continuously and faithfully. I do the powder gel- I have no patience waiting for my nails to dry. I am much more traditional than my daughter and often get various types of French manicures. Ex. Yellow/white, Ombré, a simple flower or heart on a single nail . My nails easily last three weeks. I get bored of what I have chosen faster than there need for replacement. The service is fantastic and everyone speaks English. You never feel out of place or that someone is taking behind your back in a language you don't understand. When and if a nail does break they are extremely accommodating. The technicians are always warm and welcoming. They offer a free mini massage if wanted. Plus the place is immaculate!!! On a plus note the owner lives in the town. Her husband owns a restaurant next door. They are truly vested into the area. Excellent!!!!!

I came in with my daughters (4 and 7 years old) and 2 nieces for a girls day out. They were charged full adult price ($70 plus each) for their mani and pedis, unlike before when Sarah would give kids special pricing under $40. Their services were rushed and not as good as before. Definitely less courteous and much more rushed. I also got a spa pedicure, and while drying my nails at the end the male nail tech gave me a massage. I asked if it was included and he nodded yes. However, when it came time to pay the bill the new owner had the audacity to charge me extra for it. After arguing with her over this dishonest and misleading sales practice they took it off the bill. I also had a small gift certificate from 6 months prior and the new owner laughed at me saying it was old and couldn't be used. I let her know Sarah gave it to me to use anytime for up to a year and she scoffed. The new owner is condescending and lacks courtesy and professionalism needed to retain her neighborhood clients. I was absolutely disgusted with their customer service and will never come back. Now that she's gone, TAKE SARAH's NAME OFF THE BUSINESS SIGN! Stop misleading and be more upfront and honest with your clients.

Upon arrival, I was walked to the end of an almost empty row of pedicure chairs, which I thought was odd. Turns out, for full price, I got the "trainee" although nobody explained this to me beforehand. Even for a discount, I would have said, NO, THANK YOU. The trainee did not know how to file or cut my toenails, nor was she comfortable cutting my cuticles. A few days later, my feet looked beaten. So much for my rare treat (while I'm unemployed). The owner gave the manicure and that sucked, too. I told him that I did not appreciate being his trainee's "practice customer." No response. Then, he used a very course file on my paper-thin nails, shredding them. Before the polish went on, I gave my credit card and went into the bathroom to RE-FILE my nails. I felt sorry for the trainee and I always wonder how / what the women are paid. Do they keep their tips (doubt it) or does the owner keep them? Are they paid a low, set fee for the day? One nail salon owner told my friend to "Venmo" the tip directly to her and she would pass it along. Hmm. Really? Anyway, don't waste your money at Aristo Nail Salon. I paid and I tipped well, but I will never give them my business again.

It slowed a bit when I started getting my hair done closer to home because no one there could cut it right (my hair is complex). Since I still went for color and nails and waxing I had a consult with a woman my colorist recommended but then she was let go when new owners came in - and that's when the downfall of Paris started. Since I had to find the right person for the cuts I ended up getting it all done locally again minus the occasional blowout. Then Rob, whose family owned this salon for decades, left for Salon Leo. Then my other favorite stylist Daniela was let go. The new ownership who clearly knew nothing about running a high end salon for Manhattan refugees was not only cutting good staff but also cutting the class and style the place was adorned with; the happy fun energy that the previous owner always had was gone. They never welcomed me once. The *former* front desk manager was all that was left of the grace and beauty up front and she was gone. I stuck with it because Justine is perfection for nails, waxing, facials, you name it. Her room was a sanctuary where I felt safe. Then they split it in two with a junior person and it was no longer relaxing - and the pink bubble gum high end in the Midwest maybe decor spilled over into the room. I could not be happier that Justine opened her own day spa (Serene Day Spa in Wilton) and I canceled my appts and never have to go back there -- even if I have to drive further now. Overtime I went from spending near $1K a month to the bare minimum because the ownership change killed what was special about Paris. I used to rave that it saved me after I moved to CT when regretting leaving Midtown but it became cringe -- and I'm not young enough to use that term. I know many friends I referred that are already leaving to follow Justine and left to follow Rob. There are good stylists there - Gina and Theresa - but is it worth it? No. 1000 times no. They are great but the owners don't even acknowledge you. I've never seen such a thing. I'm sure the new owners will comment in defense of this and they absolutely have the right to run their own business into obscurity. I'll never read it. I'm mourning the Paris I knew and its legacy. But at least I can get great service in high energy, beautiful places now. I wish them luck but I don't think success is in the cards unless they get less defensive about former client feedback and listen to what made the place a star in the first place.
