I was charged $55 for a pedicure where I didn't finish, because they cut down to the bed if my nail to my nail, which was bleeding on two toes. they told me she didn't do that and that it was bleeding. my foot is burning currently. read more

My mom and I visited this nail salon for manicures and pedicures for the first time and we will not be going back. I don't normally write reviews like this but there are much better nail salons in the area that you should go to. Our pedicures were fine, but the manicure I got was the worst I've ever had. The guy who did my nails hurt my hands repeatedly while using the electric filer and the nails didn't even last the rest of the day. The nails started to chip and crack immediately. The pricing also did not make sense. My mom got a standard mani pedi with no polish...yet it still cost $100. read more

Sorry but, "Pick a color," typically means they have room for you, but not here apparently. We waited 30 minutes and when I asked how much longer the answer was another 20 minutes. So not cool. We won't be back. read more

I came home from my super long day and wanted a little pampering. I told my mother in law that I was going for a mani/pedi down town and she decided to come. We went to Harmony Nails which no offense but was not my first choice. After Harmony cut my foot last summer leaving me with an infection and on antibiotics for a week, I was hesistant about going back. But since, she really wanted to go there I decided to give them another chance. I will probably not be back. Clean atmosphere but very quick and sloppy job. I had a manicure, pedicure which I get that I did not upgrade to the spa pedicure, but the pedicure should not be 15 minutes. I felt like she was rushing the whole time and wanted to get me in and out. I could possibly see that for a busy night right before closing, but this was 5:00 on a Tuesday night and we were the only ones there. After getting my manicure I was brought over to the dryer where I was so excited to get my shoulders rubbed. I waited for it, then waited longer and nothing. No shoulder massage tonight. I was very disappointed. I will probably not be back. If you are looking for a wonderful nail salon in Ridgefield, and there are a few, head on over to Classic Nails next to the Dunkin Donuts. They take their time, they always give extra massage, and are very friendly. read more

I was driving through Ridgefield one day doing errands and I decided to give this new salon a try when I saw the sign advertising "opening specials". I was planning to try another salon, but I was here already and I thought why not give it a try. I assumed that, being Ridgefield, everything would have to be top-notch in order to stay in business. Boy, was I wrong. The young man doing my nails seemed to have absolutely no clue how to file nails or trim cuticles. I ended up taking the implements from him and doing it myself. He called the salon manager over and she took over for him. She was a bit better, and seemed eager to please, but I can't say it was a quality job. The nail color was applied unevenly, so that some of the nails have light and dark spots. As I mentioned, they were running a steep discount, so I didn't feel right complaining. But I would not return and pay full price. The other thing that I thought was odd was the woman offering massages while you got your nails done. I was wearing a coat and she put all this goop on her hands. Where was she planning to smear this? On my coat? Or all over my clean hair? I refused the goop, and watched her rub it off on her apron. I was just hoping no residue remained to stain my coat. Sheesh, people. Think about what you are doing. After I left the salon, a neighboring business owner told me that Harmony is not a new salon. They were in business down the street under another name, and she said they didn't do a very good job then either. So I guess this was a lesson to me that just because a salon is in a very nice neighborhood doesn't mean the service will be wonderful. Buyer beware. read more

do not go here!!!!!!!!!!!! they do not sanitize or use clean tools on you. if you want to get fungus in your nails then go there. i was absolutely shocked to see them filing my nails with a nail file that had visible dead skin on it from the previous customer. my mother was next to me and saw the buffer they were using had someone elses dead skin in it too. we asked them if they were new files/clean files to wish they responded it was "quicker" not to use "one time use ones". not only is it repulsively unhygienic not to clean your tools after each use, but totally inappropriate not to ask someone before shoving someone elses dead skin under your nails. worst experience and they totally brushed it off like it was normal. i have been to more than enough nail places to know that this is totally unacceptable and leads to fungal infections. do not go here!!!!!!! ever!!!!!! read more

Bought a Groupon for $34, which was good for a one-hour massage, $80 value. Groupon had to be used before 9/11. Called twice to make appointments, looking to book a week or so out, and got voicemail. Left messages with name, number, reason for calling, never received a call back. Fortunately I paid with a credit card, and card services was understanding. read more

I was in the area for an appointment and had time to kill. I stopped by for an SNS manicure but was told they didn't do them. I decided to just do shellac ($35) since I was already there. I don't know the name of the gentleman who did my nails because he did not wear a name tag. It was a very no frills manicure which I was surprised given the location. He didn't even soak my hands before pushing back my cuticles...good thing I've been maintaining the. The whole process was very quick and he seemed to be rushing through even though there wasn't anyone else waiting. The manicure came out nice enough. There was some Polish on my fingers under my nails. Not sure if they do them here but I did not get a complimentary quick massage nor was I asked if I'd be interested in a chair massage. Overall it got the job done but definitely didn't get the experience I wanted out of it. Would I come again if I'm in the area? Probably not... ***UPDATED REVIEW*** I originally gave this place 3 stars but now have to drop it down to 1 (I'd give 0 star if I could). Less than 24 hours later I already gave a chipped nail. And another thing I forgot to mention in my original review not only did he not soak my nails before hand, he buffed my dry cuticles with a buffer that was clearly used before. I should've stopped it there but instead I just let him continued and now I'm stuck with a chipped manicure less than 24 hours later. I would NOT recommend this place unless you like giving money away...then I'd say just give the money away and still stay away from this place. read more

I read G.K.'s review which; was written when the place just opened. I have been there several times since and I must say that this is one of the best nail places in town. Clean, good and warm people. Not eager to please but, have the right customer service. I have tried other nail places here in Ridgefield and some were cold and you feel rushed. (Never went back to those places). I like the quality of their work and the choices of nail colors. I guess, to each his own but, I am giving this place a 5 star because they are clearly better than the other salons here in town. Besides, how can you go wrong? Regular Mani for $10 and pedi for $25! They have hand sanitizers around so, I know they want to maintain a clean surrounding. I hope with this good review, they will keep their standards high otherwise, they will get an updated post. :-) read more

I don't generally write reviews but I felt compelled to after my experience. Let me start by saying that ascetically it was a nice salon, large and not cramped. Sadly, that is the only positive thing I have to say. From start to finish my "manicure" took 7 minutes. I know this because I was getting subpar 10 minute back massage and the timer was in front of my face. Manicures are not 7 minutes. If they were I would do them myself. So after the 7 minutes of her trying to throw some paint on my hands/nails, I had to make her go back and attempt to salvage. There was nail polish all over my hands and and my nails looked like the side of a mountain, very angled. I did walk out with painted nails however the coats were uneven. There aren't many nail salons in Ridgefield however anything besides this place is better. read more

Attempted to use a gift certificate given to me for a service in this salon. Huge banner outside stating "40% off Anniversary Sale". I walked in, got my service and when I went to pay with GC, I was told I couldn't use it because of the sale. So, they had no problem taking $100 from a customer, but now refuse to provide any services for that money because they are running a sale. Who does this? And what difference does it make? They aren't losing money! That was in January, for the whole month. The sign is STILL up, and when I called, I was told they weren't sure when the sale ends. It is Feb 5th now. Bad business. And pretty sure this is illegal, as well. read more
