I came here because it seemed to be the cheapest option in Ridgefield (it is). I thought because of that, that the service would be poor. That is not what ended up happening. The women here were so nice and did a great job on my nails and feet. Mary did my nails and Teresa gave me an AMAZING massage. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. Just left there - first time customer- I asked if they gave massages as no one came over to ask . The lady said they did and I asked how much - she said 15 dollars for 10 min . I proceeded to get a massage that I was paying for . Several customers came in after me - they all received free massages and the massages were long - the woman next to me got a massage almost the entire time for her gel manicure. When I explained to the owner that this was my first time there and I was paying for a massage but no one else was .... Why was that- he said you asked for the massage and she timed it for you .. I explained this was my first time there and I didn't realize the massages were free so Why should I have to pay when no one else was . It makes me sad to write a poor review for this place when last week I was raving about it and saying it was the very best! Yes, they do a good job, and their prices are very inexpensive but after the experience I had last night and then again this morning, I will not be back. They have lost a very valuable customer. I LOVE getting my nails, and toes done and LOVE to go to the salon. I will be finding a new one though...somewhere out there. So.. I went to get a manicure last night. I had on this beautiful blue color that I had to take off because of future interviews this week. Just not professional. I wanted to go for a pale pink. After I picked my color, sat down, got my manicure and sat under the dryer, I noticed that my nails looked a bit strange. I asked the woman if she could paint them over and she said that "they wouldn't look any different, that the blue will come off when I wash my hands a few times." I left a little unhappy but went home and washed my hands a few..more like 20 times. The blue undertone was still there and they just looked awful. I went back this morning to get a color change, and when I told her that I really was not happy and they looked dirty. She got angry, snapped at me and said "well you picked that color." I said well yes, I but I didn't think they were going to come out so bad. She said "well if you want another color, then you have to pay." I refused to pay because come on..that's insane. I had JUST gotten them done. I am not paying to have your mistake fixed. A nice woman named Mary came over and said that I did not have to pay. She did not even take off my nail polish from before but painted over the last bad color. As I was sitting there, the wonderful massage woman came over to begin my massage, as they do for everyone that is getting their nails painted. The first woman who did my nails yesterday said "no massage for her." I couldn't believe it! How RUDE! They have just lost my service and my friends service. I know a lot of people and after experiencing what I did today we will not be returning. read more

Classic nails is your cut-and-dry nail salon. But as I have been a customer since before high school, I can attest that this place has never let me down. I have been coming here for 15 years. I have always been given the best of service. The employees are competent and courteous and take an interest in their customers. My jacket is removed and hung up, my socks and shoes taken off and put on and every effort is made to ensure my comfort. Whenever possible, an assistant is massaging my shoulders and arms while my manicure is being done. I never feel rushed or overlooked. Most of the time my manicures last a long time and great care is taken to use only the cleanest of equipment. If on occasion my gel manicure chips too soon, they are happy to redo the nail at no cost. I can highly recommend Classic Nails as a great place to get a man/pedi! read more

"A-Okay" is the perfect description for this spot. I'm an easy customer - cut them short, Russian Roulette and Mademoiselle for life, throw in a backrub and I'm all yours. They were the only place in town open at 9am on a Sunday (door says 10am though) and I was in and out without a wait or anything negative to report. It was clean, everyone was super friendly, the pricing was reasonable (no one tried to upcharge me on my pedicure, which I really liked) and the backrub was awesome. Was there Friday for a gel manicure and pedicure. Amy was rude dismissive and flat out embarrassed me while doing pedicure. Very dry skin right now age and a hip problem ( I am getting better since surgery) she commented "DONT YOU SHOWER?" and made a face. Gave her a tip after manicure and she literally sneered at me. Guess it wasn't enough. Have been going there a long time. No more. She is quick and in the past generally seems annoyed. I gave people big tips at Christmas. I can go elsewhere and not be abused. After writing this review, I am calling the owner to tell him why I won't be going there anymore. read more

I went there for Quick pedicure they put me in in chair that was ripped and uncomfortable only 1 other customer....they did it quick but good then once tipped she was gone....other lady got 15 min massage and had same service as me ..i got nothing but messed up toe nails....never again read more

John has been doing my nails for a while now. I refuse to go to anyone else. He does exactly what you want and will perfect anything you need done. The ladies give incredible massages and no matter who gives me an eye brow wax, they do it to perfection. My pedicures are also wonderful. I have no complaints, only positive things to say. Worst nail salon ever! I am a younger person and I don't know if they thought I wouldn't tip or something, but I was completely ignored for the first 10 minutes while they took older people before me. After I was finally helped they were so rude and did not offer me a massage like EVERY OTHER PERSON was getting. To top it off my manicure was the worst manicure I've ever gotten. I am known by name and everyone is so sweet and the work is always perfection.
