Amuse bouche

- Absolutely PHENOMENAL - They have indoor and outdoor seating but I recommend indoor seating for the cozy vibes - Outdoor feels more like a cafe - Came here for Miami Spice '25 - Got the crudo, pork belly, sorbet - Everything tasted amazing, the sauces were so flavourful - Service was spectacular, we never felt too bothered or left completely alone - Highly recommend for celebrations, dates, or just to sit at the bar!

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ariete surpassed my high expectations with their wildly creative and unique dishes. Each bite contained layers of complexity with numerous flavors and textures. Highly recommend their Miami Spice Menu for dinner Cuisine: unbelievably delicious. They started us with an amuse bouche, with crispy phyllo and foamy sabayon that exploded on our taste buds. Then offered warm dinner rolls with ghee and lemon butter. The farmer appetizer with goat cheese espuma, caramelized pepita, and fresh seasonal veggies/fruits even stunned a carnivore. The venison tartare with egg yolk and bread was fantastic. The kampachi crudo was sweet & refreshing with thinly sliced star fruit. Sweet potato Gnocchi was unbelievably crispy on the exterior but fluffy and tender on the interior. Paired with the best herbs, umami mushroom, and truffle. Pork belly had a crispy skin with tender meat, incredible crispy black eyed peas, and creamy polenta-like corn, and salsa verde. Candy cap mushroom-steeped flan was top 3 best desserts in Miami. Sweet, salty, and super creamy with whipped cream and coffee crumbles. I'll be dreaming of this bite for years. Lychee sorbet was anything but simple. It was floral and paired with a chamomile sabayon foam, topped with olive oil and sea salt. Finally they surprised us with dark chocolate sea salt bon bons that melted in our mouth. Service: super attentive, beautifully paced, constantly engaging and refilling water glasses We cannot wait to come back!!!!!

Duck

Our server Christy was great. The manager Willy is always nice. The chef was fantastic as he finished our duck. We enjoyed the visit as much as we have enjoyed it many times before. Thank you.

We came here for Miami spice on a Friday, it was busy so I recommend a reservation. It was our anniversary which we specified in the reservation, sometimes restaurants do something special but nothing to see here So for Miami spice the headliner was definitely the duck gnocchi, delicious and I would get it next time from the regular menu. We also ordered oyster from the regular menu and it was mid, too much sauce, not enough oyster, nice presentation though! The tiny flan was pretty good, maybe one of the best ones I've had, but flan is something that I don't put too much stock in. Black tea chamomile cocktail was delicious, would get that again.

Our duck dish for two sauce was cooked right in front of us

Everything went well on our visit to this romantic 3x Michelin Star awards winner -- the ambiance, the service and the food were exquisite with a capital "E"! The restaurant is tucked away on Coconut Grove's Main Highway, next to the staple pub, The Taurus. Its a bit of a struggle to get to due to the current construction going on around the area, but very well worth it! Hubby and I reserved via OpenTable, and I called in to let them know we were running late due to detours and they held our table. Holly, our server was right on point with everything and treated us well. This is an upscale restaurant, so be ready for a higher than usual price tag for a French-Cuban culinary experience! We were impressed beyond our expectations :)

Amazing experience with fantastic food! I went for the Miami Spice Dinner - would definitely go back for the regular menu as well! The service was excellent as each server was lovely throughout the evening, always making sure my glass was full and my food was good. The ambiance was serene and I truly enjoyed watching the chefs prep dishes and garnish them with delicacy. Thank you for a wonderful time!

This restaurant is a gem. Michael Beltrán's interpretation of Cuban cuisine achieves the nearly impossible: transforming traditional flavors into a sophisticated fine-dining experience. He executed it brilliantly

This place has a Michelin Star for a reason!!! Everything I had here was absolutely spectacular. The only thing I regret is not taking more pictures and not ordering dessert! The Coconut & Bergamot cocktail was a dream--it was strong & sweet (perfect for coconut lovers). The service and hospitality from the moment we got to the restaurant was amazing! Truly truly impressed. This spot really has it all and the chef knows what they're doing!!! Truly a work of art. Everybody NEEDS to come here and experience what I experienced. The ambiance is also very nice and subtle, perfect for a date night!

Flan

Come here every time I'm in the grove and it never disappoints. Service is excellent- they're well versed in the menu and even accommodating to seed oil free. Sat at the bar this time and Louisa was the best! Food was fast and beyond delicious flavor profiling. Temperature and dishes made to perfection. Can't wait to come back!

Rude hostess, but delicious food! Came here for Miami Spice & the food was top tier. Drinks were good & they always made sure my water glass was FULL. If you come here, this is my main suggestion: GET. THE. DUCK.

Not as good as last time . Sadly it was pretty empty and the food/service was not that good this time. The presentation of the food was nice. I came as part of a bday celebration weekend and they were aware, bc of open table, but there was no acknowledgement or complimentary dessert presentation for me, just the check.

Having dined at other Michelin starred restaurants, I was really excited to try Ariete when arriving in Miami. We were served an amuse-bouche & a savory bread service alongside. My overall feeling was that nothing is bad. At other tastings (at other Michelin restaurants), the flavors and food combinations took me on more of a culinary exploration. It made me understand why they call it an art (culinary arts). Having done the classic tasting, everything was a good bite of food. If you're on the fence, go for it, especially if you haven't had a tasting. But, if you've done other tastings, it may be better to order off the menu. The ambiance was really nice, although dark if you are light sensitive.

The service is good they are attentive. The give detailed explanation for all the dishes. Cocktails were mediocre. Would not come back. - Foie Gras 2.4/5 On the creamier side, it's a pretty small appetizer. - Scallop 4.1/5 You can definitely taste the sear on the scallop. The sauce is tangy. It's a good appetizer! - Venison Tartare 1.4/5 The grilled bread was good. The crispy mushroom or whatever on top was salty. The tartare was not good. It did not taste good. The tartare was one note. - Duck Wellington 1.2/5 It's GROUND duck. Pastry on the outside, mush on the inside. The grilled squash on the side was ok, no flavor. The sauce on the plate was good. I would not get this. - Pork Chop 3.9/5 Two small pieces of pork chop with a VERY salty salad on the side. The pork is very smokey and pretty good. - Mango tres leche 4.2/5 Not as sweet and very moist. I enjoyed the ice cream and the cake. - Flan 1.8/5 Thick thick thick flan. VERY sweet caramel. Street paid parking or valet for $11.

Great ambiance, however, the food is very expensive and underwhelming. I had high expectations for my meal and was sorely disappointed.

Anyone has info about the burger? Is it made with just ground beef? Is it only available during brunch?

To answer your question the chef came to our table personally and explained how it works. They make a certain amount per day buns included in that. The burgers are angus beef and also hand made. You can order it for dinner if they didn't run out.… Read more

Is it complimentary valet or is there a charge for valet?

There's a lot of street parking and if my mind serves me right the valet was $5 or $7 dollars.

We made a reservation prior to coming because in order to make it inside you need to book a reservation. The establishment is small which is why you have to reserve. We came at around 10:45 and our reservation was for 11:00. They sat us down right away. The vibes are chill and cool, there's a dj playing music. It was like house, tech vibes. The music was great and people were enjoying their time. We had 1 cocktail each and went on our way because we just came to check out the spot honestly. I had the fabulous martini which has a purple hue to it, it was very refreshing. I love that they garnish it with a lavender. The espresso martini was made with Don Julio Reposado, and had real fresh espresso as per the menu. It was good but a bit strong too! We had asked for an extra shot of espresso on the side just as a pick me up. But our server told us that it comes cold, which is odd because the menu literally says freshly brewed espresso in the cocktail description. It was fine though, we still enjoyed the drinks. Overall, our experience was nice! If you are ever in the Hialeah area, you should totally check this spot out. They also have bites you can order but we were full from dinner and didn't get a chance to try anything. Definitely have to come back to try some more cocktails and grab some bites!

My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The only thing that was a hassle was getting a table. We had to wait a bit in order for a table to become available. Overall, this spot is a very cozy place to hang and mingle with friends.

As others have stated, Magie is good in concept and we'll likely return here, but with just a bit…read moremore effort on their part this wine bar could be so much better IMO. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.
