Can the veggie specials - noodles and tendon - be made without onion or garlic?

Are reservations available?

Not sure about now but I was able to make a reservation for my family of 5 a few months before. Call to make sure.

Do you have high chairs for the little ones?

They have full high chairs or booster chair high chairs that go on their seats. So convenient, your little one will be apart of the table easily

Any vegan options? How about banchan?

Not sure about vegan options, but each table has pickled radish, ginger, and garlic!

The staff are very hospitable and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask questions about the menu. Lots of free parking. Do make reservations for 5 or more people so that you can get a nice location and a long table. You will need a lot of room for the food and drinks. Enjoy your experience! My family and I have been here more than 3x last year. I plan to come back this year to celebrate anything that comes to my mind.

First of all, Yelp should do something about restaurants begging customers for reviews. People come here based on those ratings, spend a lot of money, and end up with an experience like this. I genuinely don't understand how this place has such high reviews. Normally, even at a bad restaurant, there's at least one dish that's decent. Here, there wasn't a single item I would order again. The nigiri was served at room temperature, which immediately raised concerns. The sushi rolls had an unpleasantly sticky rice texture that completely ruined the bite. Almost every appetizer tasted like frozen, pre-packaged food, and even those weren't prepared well. The shrimp tempura was overcooked and the shrimp was tough. The takoyaki had no flavor at all. The fried dumplings were soggy instead of crispy. The kappa roll and avocado roll looked nothing like the photos. They were ridiculously oversized, almost as if they were trying to fill people up with rice instead of making good ingredients. They honestly looked unappetizing before I even took a bite. The udon was simply bad. The soba was even worse--it had a sour, spoiled taste. I took one sip of the broth and immediately spat it out. The service issue wasn't the server's fault. The restaurant had only one server handling an all-you-can-eat operation, so every dish took forever to arrive, and even getting the check took an incredibly long time. Finally, the restroom smelled so terrible that it completely killed what little appetite I had left. It was difficult to even walk inside because of the odor. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It wasn't just disappointing--it was a complete waste of money.

The rolls range from $16-$20 for the more complex rolls and simple rolls are around $6-$8. They also offer hibachi but I'm not sure if it's all day because there was no one doing hibachi when I was there. The food was delicious and they gave complimentary edamame when we were seated. The decor does seem old and some of it probably needed some attention. There was an old menu special on the wall from May. The food and service were great but I do think they are the higher end for sushi for what they are offering.

-- Apparently One Person Isn't Enough…read more I wanted to have lunch at Yanagi Sushi & Grill Dublin specifically for the teppanyaki experience -- sitting at the grill while the chef cooks the meal in front of you. I was told that because I was dining alone, I could not sit at the teppanyaki tables and I could not order the teppanyaki meal. So apparently if you're a solo diner, you're welcome to spend your money here -- just not on the food and dining experience you actually came for. Why should someone be penalized simply because they're eating alone? Not everyone has, needs, or wants a +1 every time they go out to eat. Solo teppan-style diners should know about this policy before making the trip. I was actually excited because I love that style of food and I found a place closer to me ... but now I'm very unexcited and angry.
